Marketing Manager, Formula Power Boats
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 201-500 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Apr 19, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: SEO rankings have grown in a positive direction since WebpageFX took over. Additionally, their project managers and copywriters have stood out, specifically their ability to create insightful long form articles and their continual engagement on the project.
""WebpageFX has clearly made it their goal to be a leader in SEO."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the marketing manager of Formula Power Boats. We produce one of the finest lines of luxury powerboats in the country, if not the world.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed a company that could work with us to help maintain our SEO rankings. We had worked with some companies before that all eventually changed to be less SEO focused, so we needed an agency that would stick with us for the long term.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

WebpageFX has done some restructuring on the backend of our website in order to get search engines to recognize and be more attracted to it. They also create some original content for us, especially long form blog articles.

What is the team composition?

We had an initial contact in their sales department before being assigned to a project manager that acts as our main point of contact. A new manager recently replaced our original one, but both have been really great. They have always been very engaged and make sure we take the time to speak at least once a month.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

One of the guys in our IT department did some research and found them for us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with them since May 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since working with them our SEO rankings have all increased. They have also written some really good pieces of content for us. They wrote one in particular that—for people not in the boat business—was really accurate and insightful.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

One of the nice things about them is that they have been very consistent at staying in touch with us. We have an in-person meeting at least once a month, and they are great at keeping in communication. We mostly talk over the phone, but they also produce reports for us as needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

At other companies everyone is really focused on SEO at the beginning. However, down the line they eventually have turnover or shift priorities and all of a sudden we are paying people to do SEO that aren’t really great at it. WebpageFX has clearly made it their goal to be a leader in SEO, and they have a great corporate structure that reflects that goal. Whereas before we never heard from anybody, we speak with WebpageFX at least once a month to stay updated on everything, and they are never going to change their priorities or expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is nothing I can think of for them to change. They’re communicating with me and letting me know that things are getting done, so I don’t have any criticism.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take the time to answer their questions and enable them to do their best work. I am never short of things to do, but I think I owe it to my company and to WebpageFX to give them feedback so that they can do their job better. It only takes 15–30 minutes to give them feedback, but it will pay off really big dividends in the end.

- Industry: Real estate

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Apr 18, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The traffic to the website increased 25% since WebpageFX took over the project. Accommodating and professional, they go above and beyond to meet all needs, while their high level of expertise and impeccable customer service earned them favorable referrals.
""They have great customer service and take time to explain everything to us."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the marketing director at Nelson Design Group. We're a residential house design firm.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were working with another SEO company, but we were not seeing great results. We needed a new vendor, so we found WebpageFX, which is one of the top-ranking SEO companies in the country.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They started out with targeting low competition keywords that can help someone who has already refined their search. Then, they moved on to high competition keywords and helped us improve our landing pages.

What is the team composition?

We primarily work with one person. The first person they assigned to us was not on the same page with us in terms of communication. We immediately switched to a different member of their team and we've had an amazing experience with her.

How did you come to work with them?

They have a great reputation and wonderful reviews on their website. The first time we talked, I was impressed that they were able to figure out our top keywords and pointed out the things our competitors were doing and we were not. Besides, they had experience working with national companies, which is exactly what we are, so we decided to give them a chance.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them $2,000 a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our Google Analytics shows we've had a 25% increase in traffic since we started working with WebpageFX.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Basecamp for communication to make sure everyone stays up-to-date with the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have great customer service and take time to explain everything to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Their process takes time, but it works.

#### Long Form SEO Improvements for Manufacturer
**The Project**
- Services: Search Engine Optimization
- Project size: $10,000 to $49,999

Chief Integrator, Xylem Design
- Industry: Manufacturing

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Apr 18, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: While the process takes a few months, there has already been a subtle increase in traffic. Their highly skilled team executes everything on time, while their responsiveness and professionalism contributed to the positive experience.
"“They have a great team. … I'd definitely recommend them.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the chief integrator of Xylem Design. We're a manufacturer of pedestals, displays, and other furniture for tradeshows and events. We have an online store, but about three quarters of our sales are generated over the phone.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

All of our leads come through PPC and SEO. We needed help with our SEO and we didn't have enough people in-house to handle that, so we were looking to outsource a company.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They've done a lot of work around the long-form content for blogs and put more copy onto our website pages with a keyword-related focus. In addition, they added more organization to the website, bolstered the page flow, and improved our product descriptions. They also put a few backlinks on other reputable websites.

What is the team composition?

We mostly work with our account manager, who has a team underneath him. We’ve also worked with their director for business development, who was part of the sales process.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between $10,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2018 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There was a subtle increase in traffic. They told us it'd be at least four months before we would see any changes in traffic and we've now reached that four-month mark. For us, a conversion is anytime someone makes an online purchase, calls us through our website, or fills out a quote inquiry online. They've created a custom report through Google Data Studios that allows us to track that.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very organized and execute everything on time. We use Basecamp to stay up-to-date with the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They make themselves available whenever we need them. Besides, they’re very responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they paid more attention to our branding (that said, our brand could be improved and that would be an add-on service for them). For example, we have a couple of economy pedestals, and WebpageFX suggested that one of our product pages should be for economy pedestals (that would allow us to capture the traffic). While there are some people who are searching for cheap pedestals, I wanted to find a way to capture the organic traffic without creating a page just for cheap pedestals.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about your needs and the scope of their services before the project begins. A lot of companies that use SEO vendors don't fully grasp what SEO is.

Operations Director, Cliffside Industries
- Industry: Manufacturing

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Apr 18, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX’s work saw an immediate 500% growth in B2C sales, and 60% increase in overall internet sales. Revenue growth has slowed over time, but there continues to be year over year increases. The team’s personal service has stood out, with little turnover and consistent project management.
""[T]hey still offer us the same level of personalized service that they offered six years ago."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the director of operations at Cliffside Industries. We are a decorative cabinet hardware distributer.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We basically needed to improve the SEO of our website. We had a pretty old side build on an outdated CMS and need to increase our web traffic in order to grow our sales.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with an all-organic SEO campaign before expanding into PPC and earned media link building. We eventually decided to build a new website to replace our outdated one. We built the site ourselves, but WebpageFX definitely had influence.

Their main focus now is content building. This includes short and long form content building, from small 300 or 400 word pieces to blog posts and specialty pages that can be 3,000 words. They have also done videos and video promotion for us, as well as all types of traditional paid marketing.

What is the team composition?

We have had a personal agent and main point of contact for our entire partnership with WebpageFX.

How much have you invested with them?

We have them on a retainer that comes out to around $4,000 a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with them since January 2013.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the two months after we launched with them our B2C sales went up by 500% and from 2012–2013 we grew 60% in overall web sales. Since then we have not had the same kind of growth after Google changed some of their marketing procedures, but our revenue did go up last year and we are on track to grow again this year.

Overall, they have been able to do everything we've ever asked them, and if they're not able to do it in-house they have a place they can outsource it to. They have always been able to do development work when we need it and they have great copywriters. Working with them has been a great experience.

How did WebpageFX perform on a project management standpoint?

They use Basecamp and their own software for all project management. It is very easy to communicate with them, and they are always responsive to requests.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would have to say the personal service. We're a small business and have worked with WebpageFX since they were a small company at a tech incubator. Now they're humongous, but they still offer us the same level of personalized service that they offered six years ago when we started working with them. I've had the same point of contact ever since I started there and communication is always forthcoming. It's not always been a perfect relationship, but I think it's always been a productive one.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes I wish they'd give us more information than they do, but in most cases communication is top notch. Additionally, we have found that our sales have recently grown stagnate and we would like to see more overall growth. This is not because WebpageFX isn’t doing their job; we just would like to see more sustained increases.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Find somebody to work with and give them a chance to show you what they can do, because WebpageFX definitely did.

I'm a marketing manager at Euraupair. We bring young women from all over the world to the United States to provide childcare to American families.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were trying to recruit more host families, so we were looking for a company to help us expand our social media presence and assist with digital marketing.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They develop content for our website and our social media accounts and provide SEO services. In addition, they create backlinks, promote us via blogs, and handle Google Analytics.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact but she has a team of writers who also work on our project.

How did you come to work with them?

The relationship started before I joined the company.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them a few thousand per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in February 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

We've seen an increase in leads and host family applications coming through our website and social media. We also get more phone calls and people submit applications by phone.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They do an excellent job. They're always trying to understand our needs and bring a lot of ideas to the table. We’ve used Google Docs and Google Data Studio for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can't think of anything.

**The Review** — Apr 17, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Domain authority rose from 20 to 28, while other metrics show definite gains. WebpageFX is approachable and available to brainstorm ideas. They deliver in a timely manner and their service is exemplary.
"“If you’re looking for a team to provide a complete solution, they’re a good choice.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We specialize in local construction distribution. We’ve been in business for 17 years and online for about five or six. As the e-commerce manager, I do all our frontend development and some of our marketing.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?
We ignored our SEO efforts for too long. We wanted a team to offset the work we do in-house.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
We talk about promotion ideas for new assets or products. They take our ideas, make suggestions, then take the work away to develop it. Once we approve their work, they implement it. They develop a lot of our SEO tracking and a suite of other FX tools, including lead capture and marketing.
They did an audit of our site, including a backlink competitor analysis. They highlighted items we should add and fixed a lot of issues with our SEO. After that initial phase, they built content and boosted our offsite links. In mid-November, we added PPC and Google AdWords to their workload and just recently started remarketing on Facebook. We’re also considering email campaigns.
What is the team composition?
We have one point of contact who coordinates the rest of the team.
How did you come to work with WebpageFX?
We found them through a Google search. We compared multiple companies and ultimately decided to use them. Their salesperson was amazing. He was very personable and gave a great presentation.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around May 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They send me regular reports. We’re tracking SEO metrics separately for our current B2B customers and our new B2C and B2B customers. I need to spend more time with the reports to have a clearer impression of those numbers, but we have seen definite gains. Our domain authority has increased from 20 to 28.
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?
I like that we can approach one contact for all of our needs. We’re happy with their services and their organization. The biggest positives are their efficiency and their willingness to bounce ideas back and forth.
One drawback is their project management software. They’re still on an early version of Basecamp that doesn’t work as well as the new iteration. We also share a lot of information via Google Docs.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They save us a lot of time and are easy to work with. I usually get a reply within 24 hours and they implement changes quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They should upgrade to the newest version of Basecamp. We may ask them if they can shorten their timelines, but we know that quality work takes time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re looking for a team to provide a complete solution, they’re a good choice. I’ve worked with three or four teams for PPC and SEO. WebpageFX is the best by far.

**The Review** — Apr 16, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Keyword rankings and organic traffic have both increased. WebpageFX is transparent with timelines and resources, and is available via multiple channels of communication. Although they would benefit from spending time on-location, they effectively internalize company vision and project goals.
"“They really understood our business ... they were able to speak our language.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the Sales Director for Sharpsville Container. We manufacture stainless steel, carbon steel, and higher alloy tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, and custom capital fabricated equipment. We have around 50 employees.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our main goal was to improve our inbound marketing through SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Mainly they’ve been doing inbound marketing and SEO by developing keyword lists. They’ve also done some copywriting for us. They’ll give us questionnaires to understand our customers’ personas and they have full access to our website. They’ve also put up some brochures on our website which is a nice thing to do, as we’re a smaller organization. We thought about having them do PPC, but we’re trying to move away from that.

What is the team composition?

We work with one internet marketing specialist.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We did some web research and they were the first ones that showed up. We really liked their website, and we were impressed by our initial contact with them, even though we did interview other companies. They really understood our business, and related their background and experience to our needs; they were able to speak our language.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $17,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since April 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Of the over 1700 web visits we had in March, 552 came from organic searches. Our keyword rankings have also increased. Additionally, when we ask customers how they found us, they will say we were the first result to pop up.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They do have a project management tool, but using it just isn’t my style. We go back and forth via email a few times a week, and we have a phone call once a month. They’ll also send me a project snapshot via Excel that shows our timeline and how many credits we have available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m happy that we rank number one for certain keywords in Google, and when people are searching for the unique items we manufacture. Our point of contact has also been really good at understanding our needs and our goals for each quarter.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be nice if they could have somebody actually come out and sit down and spend a week or so in the field, getting to know our business. That would have really sped things up in the beginning.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you know what your goals are. Really sit down and have a strategy mapped out ahead of time. If you’re on a fast track like we were, they’ll help you do that, but you should have your plan clearly defined. Also, make sure that the rest of your sales and marketing team is on board with that strategy, and that you have their buy-in.

**The Review** — Apr 13, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The company quickly ranked within the top ten Google results, and its web domain authority score has increased from 34 to 42. WebpageFX offers frequent status updates, tracks the site's activity, and sticks to clearly articulated deadlines. The team is both knowledgeable and communicative.
""They’re outstanding at keeping us in the loop and giving us the status of various projects."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am an application developer for a boat manufacturer. We sell a relatively low volume of a high-quality product. We make boats from 24-45 feet.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were looking for a partner to improve our SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve paired with internet marketing companies with in the past, primarily to create our public-facing website, but were no longer partnered with our previous company. We wanted a company to resume that work.

Our site was developed in WordPress. The company that created it didn’t necessarily focus on SEO. They built a good-looking, functional site that didn’t make us visible to search engines. We were very upfront in telling WebpageFX that SEO was one of our main focuses. It’s important to focus on SEO to make our company more visible.

One of the first things they focused on was a keyword list, which primarily contained types and lengths of boats. Their internet marketing specialist strategically changed some of the title and description tags on our individual boat pages, and updated our page content, to get our site to rank higher for those keywords.

What is the team composition?

We work with four or five people from their team. We mainly worked with our primary point of contact, who is very responsive. We also work with another internet marketer and some of their developers. If we have a technical need, we reach out to the developers.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I did a little research to find a decent company that could fulfill our needs, and WebpageFX came highly recommended.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent around $10,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in November 2017 and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have been very happy with them across the board. Their keywords very drastically affected common searches for our customers. We had been showing up on the fourth or fifth page on Google, and we are now in the top ten list on the first page.

Our website domain authority was holding our SEO strategy back. They provided a report on our historical domain authority. Our domain authority in April 2017 was 34, and it was 41 in March of 2018. That’s a pretty substantial increase. It is still not incredible, but we wouldn’t expect that. Their ability to give us that metric is huge. It definitely shows that their work is paying off.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Their time management is very good. They use Basecamp, which my whole team has access to, allowing us to collaborate and see when they expect tasks to be accomplished. They’re outstanding at keeping us in the loop and giving us the status of various projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The internet marketing company we had worked with in the past did a very good job on our site, but their communication and reporting dropped off. We like to get those periodically to track the health, status, and activity of the site. WebpageFX excels at communication and reporting. All the key metrics are readily available, either monthly or quarterly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s helpful to have a broad idea of what you want to accomplish before you research SEO companies. Do a little homework on SEO before you shop around for a company to tell you exactly what you need. While they are very knowledgeable about SEO, no one knows your business like you. As a new customer, it is very valuable to know what is important ahead of time.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the store and warehouse manager for EXL Garage Doors, a company that specializes in garage door maintenance and installation.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We knew that establishing an online presence would be essential when we started this business, so we used WebpageFX to build our website and assist with our digital marketing efforts.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a WordPress site that lists all of our services and contact information for potential customers. Customers are also able to make inquiries about our prices and schedule appointments through the website. When issues arise, we send their team an email and they resolve the problem almost immediately.

Since completing the website, they continue to support our online growth by creating digital ad campaigns through Google AdWords. At the end of each month, they send us a detailed report of the site’s analytics and visitor demographics to ensure that we are receiving an appropriate amount of traffic and targeting the correct audience.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact who oversees project management, but several people are working behind the scenes to monitor the site.

What is the status of this engagement?

We commissioned the project shortly after starting our business in April 2017, and we continue to use their services for site maintenance, analytics, and marketing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is fast-paced, so there were never any issues with complying with deadlines. They sent our team status updates via email on a regular basis, which helped us stay informed on the timeline without getting involved in the technical aspects of the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

WebpageFX has a solution for any problem that comes their way. Their team was exceptional at listening to our needs and turning them into a topnotch website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

A better method of preparation could have prevented the few technical issues that they experienced during the early stages of the project. Fortunately, they were able to resolve those issues quickly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They are very accommodating, so do not hesitate to voice your concerns.

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX helped significantly improve overall web performance, leading to the company's best month of lead generation in years. They've helped pinpoint and address challenges facing web performance using various tools. Their friendly, knowledgeable staff is great to work with.
"“This January was our best web lead generation month in the past five years.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the director of digital marketing at Leading Authorities, Inc., a company with three lines of business including a speaker's bureau, video production, and live event production.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed help with SEO. We were unhappy with the results of our previous vendor and had recently redesigned and launched our website, which had experienced a significant decrease in traffic.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

WebpageFX's earned media team has been working on link building for us and keyword research auditing. They helped identify where we were underperforming and have been continuing to help us with strategy, technical issues, and recommendations. They've also provided some copy, including specifically designed SEO pages and blog content.

What is the team composition?

We work with a dedicated representative. More knowledgeable than a typical project manager, she's able to answer technical and project-specific questions whenever we have any.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I found WebpageFX online, possibly through Clutch.

How much have you invested with them?

We contracted them for $90,000 for the year, which includes services for two of our websites.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since around September 2017.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This January was our best web lead generation month in the past five years. Compared to where we were a year prior, they've helped us significantly improve web performance overall.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Our representative does a great job of keeping us updated and reminding us what they need from our team. In addition to communicating through Basecamp and utilizing Google Docs, they use some great internal reporting tools of their own. They're able to track which leads come from organic search on our website as well as other insights about user behavior and our competitors.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate how versatile our representative is—she really knows what she's talking about and is able to provide answers right away. She's also very friendly and spends time developing a strong relationship with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While their SEO copy is great, there's room for improvement on the copy they provide for blogs. Some of the content was too generic, so we ended up focusing more on having WebpageFX provide link building and other services instead.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

No. I highly recommend them. I think they're the best vendor I could've selected.

"“I've been very happy with them. … I'd recommend them to anyone.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the founder of Exit Strategy Games. We're an escape room, so we lock people in a themed room for an hour and they solve puzzles to escape.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our customers find us and book our services online, but we have a lot of competition in the area. We wanted to be on the first page of Google searches, so we were looking for a company to help us with organic SEO and online ads.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They restructured our website and added a lot of content. They've also installed analytics and are constantly tracking the performance of our ads. If something is not working, they change it. In addition, they’ve been helping us improve our SEO rankings.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with my project manager, but there are also some people behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with them?

I found them through an online search. I liked the fact that they were honest with me about the time it'd take to get on the first page of Google searches. I was worried about having to work with multiple people, but they assured me that I'd only have to deal with one person who would be in charge of the project. Besides, they had good reviews, so I decided to give them a chance.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between $10,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in March 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re on the first page of Google searches and our sales have been on the rise over the past five months. I saw a bigger increase in bookings in some months, while in other months it was more stagnant, which could be because we have more and more competitors in the area. When our sales go down, WebpageFX tweaks the strategy and the sales go back up. Without them, we would be really struggling.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very responsive. They're on the other side of the US, so we primarily communicate via email and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our project manager was exceptionally supportive and gave me helpful feedback. He’s always there for me, so I feel I'm not going through this alone.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I've been very happy with them. Everyone wants to pay less, but it's been worth every dollar.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They know what they're doing, so you can trust them to work on several campaigns at the same time. I started with SEO and waited a couple of months before signing my second contract, and that is my biggest regret.

**The Review** — Feb 14, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Thorough market research has helped increase leads tenfold and improve traffic. WebpageFX’s varied services and creative solutions are impressive, but wanting web design is an outlier. Sensible but effective project management prioritizes relationships and timely deliveries.
""We couldn’t be happier with the result."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re a B2B company that manufactures car wash chemicals in addition other industrial soaps and chemicals.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We wanted to increase traffic for our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They redesigned the site, optimizing the backend, to make it responsive and user friendly. For this process, they uploaded the product descriptions and images we provided onto the template.

WebpageFX does SEO, but also manages our website and generates monthly traffic reports. To keep the site active, they write monthly and quarterly posts in longform and blog formats. Similar services include drafting mailers and e-blasts. We haven’t used their PPC services, but are considering them.

What is the team composition?

The project manager is my main point of contact.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

Our company found WebpageFX through a referral about six months before I started in my job. One of our product line distributors had great success with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $15,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Work started in January 2016 and is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My predecessor told me WebpageFX started the engagement seamlessly. Traffic has grown month-over-month; leads are up tenfold.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very organized, using an agenda to show task progress and completion. That tool helps us stay on track; they’re vigilant about deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The project manager does competitor research to help us understand our market position from a web search standpoint. She’s also brainstormed helpful ideas to maximize traffic. Those efforts are a great help for a small company like ours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The creative designs were not at the level of their other services. But as a B2B company, we don’t necessarily need highly detailed graphics to achieve our set goals.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Look at all their offerings. They provide paid ads and search ads services, which we don’t use.

**The Review** — Feb 7, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Metrics show a three- or fourfold increase in site traffic and sales over the past few years. WebpageFX is communicative and sends detailed overviews of their work. They are willing to modify standard programs to fit specific needs.
"“They’re interested in what we’re all about and have written industry related articles to get us the results we need.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a commercial van outfitter. We add aftermarket parts to commercial vans—such as shelving or racks—to help contractors organize their equipment and make everyday work easier. I support our marketing and sales.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?
We built our site about three years ago and weren’t happy with our previous SEO company. We wanted to see more growth and communication from a new company.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started them on SEO, which included a lot of on-page optimization and backlinking. We then added PPC management to the services they provide us. They run our Google AdWords account. CRO—conversion rate optimization—is our third campaign with them, which just started last year.
We’re looking to gain qualified traffic and increase our conversion rates on the website. Our conversion rates aren’t as high as we would like.
What is the team composition?
Right now, I communicate with one woman who acts as our account manager. She does all our on-page optimization and PPC management. We had another representative at the start of the project, but she stepped in when he moved on. She communicates with her team, who does the backlinking and writes all the longform articles.
How did you come to work with WebpageFX?
We found them online on Forbes, Clutch, or a site like those. Their reviews were very favorable across all the sites we saw them on.
How much have you invested with them?
The initial investment was about $5,000 and we pay monthly for their other services. We recently increased our monthly SEO payments to around $2,000, PPC management totals to about $500, CRO around $1,200, and our average ad spend to about $1,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them summer 2016. Work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve definitely seen our site traffic and sales increase. Our metrics show that we’re running about three or four times the volume we had a few years ago.
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Basecamp for all our monthly goals and tasks. We have monthly phone calls with them where we look over the calendar to see what’s been completed and what we want to plan for the coming month. They send detailed notes of everything to my email and our account manager sends regular updates on our results. If any of us have ideas, we email back and forth. I’m really satisfied with the communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication is exceptional and was something we didn’t get with our previous company. They’re interested in what we’re all about and have written industry related articles to get us the results we need.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have a basic understanding of digital marketing. It’s not their job to give me a course to cover the whole technical side of things, but presentations that explained different metrics and terminology would help my understanding.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I don’t have anything specific, I just signed up for their standard programs. They were happy to modify a few of them to better fit our budget.

General Manager, Burdi Motors
- Industry: Automotive

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Feb 1, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The internal team is happy with the new website and the collaborative environment. Consistently producing new content, they bring a lot of creative ideas to the table. Their responsiveness and commitment make them stand out among competitors.
""They're very good at translating our ideas into reality."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the general manager at Burdi Motors, an auto shop that specializes in Mercedes-Benz vehicles and sprinter vans.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We had a web presence for our business, so we were looking for a reliable company to redesign our website and do digital marketing for us.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They entirely redesigned our WordPress website, incorporating our ideas as well as theirs. In addition, they manage online marketing campaigns and Google AdWords, create links, and write content for our blog. They're good at generating ideas for new content and produce so much of it that it's hard for us to keep up with them.

What is the team composition?

We primarily work with Stevie [Blyler, Internet Marketing Specialist, WebpageFX], who is our account manager. We also have a project manager, who was in charge of building our website.

How did you come to work with them?

We found them through an online search.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them about $800–$1,000 a month to manage our marketing campaigns, and there was a separate fee for the website redesign.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2016 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've been very happy with their engagement and communication. Other companies we worked with lost their initial excitement and let the project fall into an autopilot mode, so we were spending our money, but the services were not coming in. We've never had any issues like that with WebpageFX.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They use Basecamp, where they upload the documents we need to see, and we can upload our documents as well. We also communicate via email and receive updates form them almost daily. They're very responsive and usually answer our questions the same day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication is very strong. In addition to emails and newsletters that they send us, they often give us a call to discuss our ideas. They're very good at translating our ideas into reality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When we were designing a website we wanted to set our shop apart from other automative repair shops and dealerships. They did a great job, but the logo designs that came through were not exactly what we wanted. (Maybe we should just listen to advice more.)

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust them. Listen to them and they'll do a good job.

CEO, Hillside

**The Review** — Jan 31, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: They exceeded the expectations, increasing user engagement by more than 60% and substantially improving referral traffic to the website. Their transparency and eagerness to accommodate client's needs contribute to a positive ongoing relationship.
""They've met our every deadline, every goal, and every request."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the CEO of Hillside, which is an organization in Atlanta that provides mental health services for children and adolescents, ages 7–21. Our services include residential, psychiatric, and outpatient treatment.

We also have a foster care program and in-home community support programs where we go to the houses of families who have a child in need of therapeutic or mental health care, helping keep the family intact. Originally, we provided a home for children and their mothers who were homeless, then we morphed into an adoption/orphanage type organization, and later, we moved into the mental health realm. This year we're celebrating our 130-year anniversary.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We wanted to improve our online presence. We planned to do that in-house – we had an employee who was working very energetically, but found that it was taking an incredible amount of time. We didn't have enough manpower to make a difference on this project, so we started looking for an outside a vendor to help us.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They performed a number of website upgrades and have been managing SEO for us to maximize our online presence. They also applied for a Google Grant for us, which we received. It allows us to do PPC [Pay Per Click] campaigns by granting us $2 of credit per keyword. We use those keywords to help drive attention to our website.

Later, we added a website maintenance plan because our in-house team didn't have the expertise to do that. Now, when we want to make any updates or changes to our website, we create a ticket for them.

In addition, they oversee all of our social media campaigns on Facebook and Twitter. They create a social media calendar for us each month, where we can see the articles and updates they're posting. Within a given month, there are 14–16 updates coming from their side.

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager and a social media expert.

How did you come to work with them?

They were recommended to me by someone they had worked for. I trusted the recommendation (it was coming from a friend I had known for 30 years), so I didn't look for other companies. We had an initial call with WebpageFX to explore what they could provide for us and after that, we committed to them.

How much have you invested with them?

Initially, we paid them $10,000 to do some major adjustments to our website, an initial analysis, and provide recommendations. Now, we have them on a monthly retainer and pay about $1,600-$2,000 a month based on our needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One of our goals was to increase our user engagement by 60% by the end of the year. They exceeded this number, reaching 80,228 views on social media. Another goal was to increase referral traffic to our website by 65%. Starting at zero in February, they got the number of sessions driven to our website to 1,780 within less than a year. They track progress toward all of our goals, educating us about what's been successful and what they'll be focusing on.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

Every week, they provide reports, letting us know what updates they're doing on our website and what social media calendar they're proposing for next month. They also give us social media marketing reports with the details of Facebook and Twitter activity each month. We use Basecamp to communicate and share updates, which has worked well. They've been extremely transparent and patient. We can see on their to-do list what they're accomplishing each day.

They've been very attentive, making sure they're providing us with what we need. For example, they create blog posts about some of our work and we review those posts, making edits. We had to edit several posts fairly significantly and they immediately turned their attention to us, asking how they could be more helpful and get it right the first time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're easy to work with and address all of our requests. Taking time to educate us, they provide good feedback and always let us know why they don't recommend certain things for us. They're patient, pleasant, and help us make best decisions. Since we started working with them, we haven't had a single complaint.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They're so transparent and accommodating that I can't think of anything they could improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Stay engaged and learn from them. It's something that takes time and attention. Having them do the bulk of the work is fantastic, but you do need to pay attention to the updates they provide and the questions they pose.

**The Review** — Jan 29, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Their customer service and attention to detail make WebpageFX an exemplary partner. They respond quickly to concerns, plan effectively, and deliver quality products. Site metrics have improved consistently since they began handling search and ad campaigns.
"“If they say they're going to finish something, they have it ready by the day before the deadline.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re a cosmetic dermatology practice, and I'm one of the owners as well as a clinician there.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our previous web design firm wasn't meeting our needs, so we wanted to find a new company to redesign our site.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We use our site to provide information and attract new business, and since many of our new customers find us by shopping around online, it's important for us to have persuasive content. WebpageFX redesigned our site and revised the content to better convey our brand, and they continue providing day-to-day support. They’ve also helped us manage our web presence with SEO and paid search advertising so that we consistently come up first or second in local search results.

What is the team composition?

We mostly interact with our project manager. Since we've worked with them for so long, the person in that position has changed, but both have been fantastic.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We initially had a family member design our website, but over time our needs grew too great for her level of expertise, so we contracted an outside company to redesign the site. Unfortunately, that first company’s project management was extremely poor and the projects were often delayed or not done well. After that experience, we started looking for someone else who could work with us long-term and we came across WebpageFX.

How much have you invested with them?

This year we spent somewhere between $10,000–$15,000 on their management fees. We've only had one incident where there was an additional charge on the bill, but it was because their team had to put in extra time fixing a bug that our previous designer hadn't addressed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them sometime in 2014. We pay them monthly, but we meet with our reps every year to discuss our budget and project goals.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They produce reports for us on a monthly basis that summarize any new leads we have and track various user data, such as how long users have been interacting with our site or how often people fill out our contact form. It's more information than we need, and we don't review the reports often, but the graphs make it easy to see that we're getting our money's worth because our metrics are constantly improving in response to the ads we track. And if we ever have a specific question, WebpageFX is able to supply the answer.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They're pretty efficient, which is one of the reasons we ended up sticking with them. They're also really clear about the services you're getting and they explain what you might miss if you opt out of something.

In terms of day-to-day communication, we use BaseCamp, which lets you set up due dates for projects, store documentation, and send secure emails. Any time we have a conversation they annotate it and those notes are accessible to us.

They plan well for emergencies, too—we had an issue once while the project manager was on vacation, and her backup got in contact with me right away to take care of it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I've worked with a lot of different organizations, and WebpageFX's customer service is exemplary. They're super-organized and focused on service delivery; if they say they're going to finish something, they have it ready by the day before the deadline. I've also never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes to hear back from them, whether by phone or online, and they're one of the best companies I've ever worked with in terms of documenting conversations and outlining follow-up plans.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

One thing I've learned over the years of site redesigns is that no outside party is going to be able to write your content exactly the way you want it. We're in the medical industry, so writers without that familiarity or expertise don't do more than a mediocre job writing blog entries or informational text, even when they do the research. WebpageFX provides good ideas, but we frequently rewrite their content.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Tranquil Shore is a dual diagnostics and substance abuse facility in Florida. I'm the admission coordinator.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were working with a small-scale vendor at the time, but our business was growing. We needed a larger scope of SEO work, so we started looking for a new company.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They redesigned our website and updated the content to promote brand recognition. We wanted to focus on organic SEO because it would lead to more growth than we were getting at that time.

They continue working on our website, managing SEO.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, who was our primary point of contact.

How did you come to work with them?

We were referred to them. After meeting with them, we decided they were a good fit for us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $15,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2017 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work benefitted our business, at least in the short term. Because of the organic growth triggered by the website, our call volume increased almost 100%. Our hope is that the website will continue growing and bringing profit.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

Everyone is very responsive and we're happy with the level of communication. Whenever we have questions, or need to tweak something, they react immediately, staying on top of everything. We mostly communicate via email or phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their turnaround time was impressive. They worked fast to execute everything we were looking to do. (The company we used before them took a lot longer.)

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we haven't had any issues with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have the vision of what you want and express your ideas clearly to them. They will take your ideas and do an excellent job applying them.

**The Review** — Jan 26, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX not only provides top notch services, they’re also incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Although pricey, a deep understanding of their customers’ businesses and an intrinsic feel for the market make them a valuable partner.
"“[W]e've seen an increase in numerous metrics since switching over to them.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the vice president of business development for American Heritage Property Management, a full-service property management company offering a vast array of services. We do property management, maintenance, and almost anything that relates to the daily oversight of property. My job is to find other property management companies to acquire and develop the business model, which includes marketing policies and procedures, internal reviews, etc.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?
We needed help with our digital marketing campaign. Originally, we had one company that handled all of our online work, but we switched to a different agency and decided we wanted a third-party partner who specialized in digital marketing.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
WebpageFX oversees our SEO and SEM campaigns and integrates those items into our website to make sure everything works correctly. They also manage the PPC campaign and keywords, optimizing the metatags and descriptions and keeping them accurate, relevant, and up to date.
Google recently released an updated algorithm involving new content, so we’re having WebpageFX develop new video content for our site. We recently transitioned from http to https, and WebpageFX took care of that, as well.
WebpageFX manages almost everything related to marketing our company online. We have a different company that controls and runs our website, but all the keywords and content are WebpageFX’s responsibility.
What is the team composition?
Heather [Internet Marketing Specialist, WebpageFX] handles pretty much everything for us.
How did you come to work with WebpageFX?
A friend of mine works for them. When we began looking for a new partner, I did some research and, in addition to them, put together a list of about five different companies we could work with. We reached out to and interviewed them, and WebpageFX was the best.
They were professional and took time to get to know us instead of delivering a preconceived speech they give all of their potential clients. They asked questions and tried to understand what we do, our goals, and what we wanted from a digital marketing company.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent maybe $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began in May 2017, and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've seen an increase in numerous metrics since switching over to them. In December, our organic leads increased by 33 and SEO phone calls increased by 101. We had a 7.75% decrease in SEO traffic from last year, but that’s because we changed our URL, so it was expected. PPC conversions increased by 50% and cost of conversions decreased by 46%. The bounce back rate also decreased by 14%, and our cost per click was $9.88.
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?
Heather is phenomenal; she’s responsive, proactive, and always on top of things. She’s a step ahead of me all the time, which is great, and she’s just easy to work with.
We use Basecamp to track exactly what projects they’re working on, and they’re transparent with the timeline. We always know exactly what their time is being spent on because they give consistent updates. We use MarketingCloudFX to access the files they send over, and it’s an easy platform to navigate.
Every month, they provide a report that Heather and I go over together. It provides all our key metrics, and we walk through what worked and what should change. Overall, we’ve had nothing but good experiences.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It's hard to narrow it down to one thing. They've done everything as well as we could’ve hoped. The company prior to WebpageFX had a lot of content on our site, but nothing was overly productive. However, WebpageFX is great at taking large amounts of information and organizing it in a clear and concise way that will attract the most business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Check around to make sure you get what’s best for you. WebpageFX is a great partner, but they’re relatively expensive compared to other competitors. Their pricing structure probably isn’t viable for all businesses, but their services are worth every dime. Just be aware that WebpageFX isn’t the cheapest when you reach out to them.

Sales Manager, Lane Enterprises
- Industry: Other industries

**The Review** — Jan 26, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The site performs extremely well in SEO, being the top hit for key search terms and driving new business. The team reliably guides project development and strategy for people of all levels of technological savvy. As a result, they've been retained to work on the site on an ongoing basis.
"“The site is one of the most important features in my sales toolbox.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the sales manager for Lane Enterprises, an industrial powder coating business. Most of our work is in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast but we service the whole country.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Webpage FX?

When I joined the company about 11 years ago, the website looked as if it hadn’t been touched in years and the logo wasn't even up to date. A few years later I got a new boss and he agreed that it was time to invest in improving the site.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially thought about just doing upgrades on the existing framework. However, once we got into the project we decided to redesign the whole site. Webpage put together a timeline, gave us assignments, and set project deadlines.

At each step they proposed various options and allowed us to pick what we wanted. We decided not to have an e-commerce site because we didn't think our customers would use it. It’s a fairly simple informational site with a picture gallery and a button to request a quote.

Webpage continues to provide ongoing maintenance and tweaks. They let us know that the highest ranked entry page for the site is about maintenance and how to repair powder coating. As a result we’re creating a graphic to show how to fix damages in the field.

What is the team composition?

We have an account manager and 2–3 developers worked on the project. We've had probably six account managers in the time we’ve worked together

How did you come to work with Webpage FX?

We asked our corporate office who built their site—which was a different company—and they suggested we contact Webpage. They were a new company at the time and their office was a 5-minute drive from ours. We immediately felt really comfortable with them and have continued working together ever since.

How much have you invested with them?

I honestly don’t know—the bills come to my boss and I never talk money with the developers or our account manager. As far as I'm concerned, I need the website to do my job so I don’t really care what it cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together about eight years ago. The site was done in six months but we’ve continued to use them on a regular basis.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Right after the site launched, we landed a huge job coating parts for a solar carport. The fabricator and architect found our site because we were the top hit on Google when they searched “powder coating in the Northeast” and “large parts.” That project encouraged us to go after the growing solar market. Webpage added information about the solar carport project to the site, and solar has been a big focus of our sales for the last 6–7 years.

The site is one of the most important features in my sales toolbox. Because I don't often get out to West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, etc., the site provides all of the information that clients need.

How did Webpage FX perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always available to talk with us and quick to respond if we have questions. We’re doing a few small tweaks right now and I've talked to our account manager already four times this week. In terms of general maintenance, we meet with our account manager at least three times a year.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Because our team is pretty technically challenged, we rely on them a lot. If they see something that they think would work, they bring it to us for discussion. Unlike other service providers, I feel like Webpage wants our business and is happy to work with us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think the biggest challenge has been they’re used to working with businesses that sell a product and we're selling a service. It's a completely different sale process and takes a lot longer. Every now and then they’ll bring us ideas that are more geared to a product-driven company than a service-driven company.

**The Review** — Jan 26, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX enhanced the usability and interactivity of a previously outdated website. The new interface serves as a great resource for the local community. Their team worked extremely quickly and efficiently, while providing valuable feedback when needed.
"“I am floored by how quickly they get things done.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the director of operations of Rider Musser Development, a small organization in central Pennsylvania. Our upcoming project involves developing 115 acres into commercial and residential land.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our website and mobile app was out of date and not user friendly; we wanted a cleaner, more exciting redesign. Our logos and other branding materials needed a refresh as well.

Outside of the norm, we did not want to promote our website. At the current land development stage of our project, we're not yet ready to promote any new apartment buildings. We just needed an informational, clean website for folks to reference from our talks at townships.

We knew going into it that we were going to be spending a decent amount of money compared to what we invested on our original site, because we needed it to look phenomenal.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

WebpageFX did a complete overhaul of our previous website, adding an interactive map that allows you to hover over areas and discover where buildings will be developed. They also added a lot of stock images to balance out the text-heavy interface. Their team assisted with an e-blast newsletter as the project progressed.

What is the team composition?

Initially, we worked with the same person I had met at a training session. We now work with a different project lead who's been my go-to.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

A representative from WebpageFX was hosting a free training session on creating websites that I attended. I was impressed that they took the time to provide that service for free to other realtors, and I found it to be very helpful and extensive. Through some additional research, I found their website work to be fantastic.

We also felt inclined to support former students of the local Messiah College who worked at WebpageFX.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2017 and we're still collaborating.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're pleased with what we've received in return, given the amount of money that we spent on the product. The ability to upload videos to the website has been a great tool for informing the public quickly and efficiently. That saves us a lot of time on the phone. As the project picks up, we see the website as a great resource to share with locals.

Although they've provided analytics, that's not something we're concerned with at this stage.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They tend to move at a faster pace than we do. I am floored by how quickly they get things done. They're proactive in ensuring that we get all of our contracted deliverables.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team has been phenomenal to work with. They're responsive and provide valuable feedback. They've suggested ideas that we never would have come up with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I had some difficulty explaining that our focus was not on promoting the website. As we were reassigned different project leads, I had to spend some time explaining that to their team. Overall, however, the final product definitely trumped that minor annoyance.

**Feedback Summary**: The site, initially accumulating between 800 and 1,000 visitors per month, now boasts over 30,000 visitors monthly. The WebpageFX team is communicative and easy to access when needed. They use comprehensive analytics to continually develop SEO strategies to enhance the site’s performance
""They are experts in their field, so they have great input that can help get you where you want to be."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and owner of The Whiz Cells, which is a re-commerce website for recycling and re-selling old cell phones and tablets.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

I needed SEO expertise so our site could move its way up through the ranking on Google’s organic search engine.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They optimized the site by using meta tag descriptions, creating blog content and doing link building. They were especially integral in coming up with blog topics that would boost our site visitor count.

What is the team composition?

I interact primarily with Kate-Lynn [Internet Market Specialist, WebpageFX].

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I began by researching what SEO is, as well as which firms specialize in it. I read reviews and online forums to gather information, and noted that WebpageFX was well-received throughout, so I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested about $36,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with each other in 2015, and I continue to keep them on monthly retainer.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before working with WebpageFX, we were getting between 800 to 1,000 visitors on our site monthly. Currently, we just eclipsed 30,000 visitors in December 2017. Our goal to get more visitors and conversions on the site has been accomplished at this point.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is great. We have regular phone calls with Kate-Lynn to go over Google Analytics. Based on that, we’ll come up with a variety of marketing strategies and blog content ideas for a particular time-frame. Aside from that, I’m able to get in touch with her or anyone else on their team when needed either via email or WebpageFX’s communication system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication is particularly good. If anything comes up or I want to share an idea with Kate-Lynn, I’m always able to get in touch with her.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m not well-versed in SEO, so it’d be nice to get more clarity on how various SEO-related tactics have an impact on the performance of my site.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a goal in mind, but be willing to trust WebpageFX’s insight. They are experts in their field, so they have great input that can help get you where you want to be.

**The Review** — Jan 23, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The flow of prospective customers through both internet inquiries and web-generated phone calls has increased with the redesigned site and SEO work. WebpageFX applies responsive, personalized attention to client needs to achieve the desired results.
"“We've always been pleased with how they've run things and how they've communicated with us. It’s visible in the ultimate product and results.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a partner/owner of a law firm that handles employment, personal injury, tax, and corporate law.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were looking for them to help us market the firm through the website and SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They took over our firm's website. We had a site that was up and running. They started with what we had and redesigned, reduced, and reformatted it. They’re constantly updating the site to keep it relevant and current.

They do SEO for us including backlinks. They manage our blog, sometimes writing content or reviewing what we develop.

What is the team composition?

We usually interact with one project manager.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We had found them online and worked with them on an unrelated project probably 10 years ago. They were local to us at the time and a relatively small business. We kept in touch with them over the years until they had pitched for us to invite them take over our law firm’s website.

How much have you invested with them?

We have a monthly retainer. The amount is confidential.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started this work with them probably 3-4 years ago. It’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The internet is our primary source of advertising. Since they've taken over the site, we've been very pleased with the flow of prospects coming through. The results are empirical – we’re getting inquiries through our website and we’re getting phone calls. That’s what we’re looking for.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Our project manager has been very responsive. We’re local to them so they come into our office and review things at least once a month or every other month. They provide us with reports every month or so through a proprietary project management system.

We've always been pleased with how they've run things and how they've communicated with us. It’s visible in the ultimate product and results.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their attentiveness. The company we were with for years before them was more of a national company, at least for us. It was a lot less personal. Since we moved over to WebpageFX, I feel like we're really getting paid attention to.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Not off the top of my head.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Not really.

**The Review** — Jan 22, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: In the highest conversion month of the campaign, the paid ad brought in over 3,600 conversions, while the average cost per click dropped 25%. Keeping long-term goals in mind, they bring creative ideas to the table and respond proactively to any problems that arise.
""They will make sure you accomplish your goals, staying within your budget."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Business Consumer Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote business self regulation by resolving consumer and business-related disputes through complaint handling. We then use that information, along with other relevant information such as customer reviews to forecast the reliability of a business. We also offer a variety of benefits and services to small business owners to help them be successful in their business endeavors. I'm the president/CEO.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We were rebranding our organization – for decades we operated as one of the chapters of the Better Business Bureau, but in 2013 we became independent and expanded the services we provided to consumers and businesses. We wanted to get the word out about our mission and the services we offer to the public, so we started looking for a company with marketing expertise to help us with our marketing campaigns, particularly Google Pay Per Click campaigns.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We mainly use them for PPC [Pay Per Click] campaigns. We needed a campaign that would focus on the searches of those consumers who intend to file a complaint. WebpageFX did an initial keyword research and suggested some creative ways to infer that someone is doing that type of search. They also help us keep our costs down.

What is the team composition?

We work with a marketing manager, who is in charge of our account.

How did you come to work with them?

We were working with another local marketing firm, but we weren't pleased with their services. I started looking for a new company online and saw their ad, which led me to their website. I called them and explained exactly what we needed – we wanted to get a specific campaign that would give us return on investment for our advertising dollars. WebpageFX gave me confidence in their abilities to manage Pay Per Click campaigns, especially the type of campaign we wanted to run. Also, the strategy they came up with met our expectations.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them $400 a month for the marketing campaign they're running for us and we spend about $3,000–$4,000 monthly on advertising, which includes our advertising dollars and is in line with our budget.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2014 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

August was our highest conversion month to date in the history of our campaign. We had over 3,600 conversions from our paid ad, which was a 42% increase compared to the previous quarter. At the same time, our average cost per click dropped about 25%. They use their bidding strategies, keeping an eye on what is trending and what can get us clicks and conversions.

Their service fee is nominal for what we get in return and is much less than we paid the other marketing firm we worked with. We're happy with the results.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

If there's a problem, they proactively react to it. After our first marketing manager (who understood our mission as a nonprofit and our objectives very well) transitioned to a different company, they assigned us a new marketing manager. That person wasn't as knowledgeable and we noticed we were overspending and not getting enough conversions. We expressed our concerns to them and they immediately assigned us a senior marketing manager, who understood our needs and got the campaign back on track.

We use Basecamp, which we like – it gives us a better understanding of our goals for each meeting and an easy way to keep track of past meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They keep me in the loop on our current campaigns, being mindful of any other campaigns that may come our way. As they make suggestions and come up with creative marketing ideas, they are not pushy with their marketing strategies. It's always good to have another set of eyes on your business's goal, so I appreciate them for that and the PPC campaign management.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them a chance and express both your short-term and long-term goals. Be open about your budget as far as marketing goes. They will make sure you accomplish your goals, staying within your budget.

**The Review** — Jan 22, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: Although only online for six weeks, the team’s work on the website is already yielding encouraging results. The initial analytics indicate significantly more engagement. The team impresses with their delivery of high-quality work and effective communication.
"“We already see a boost in the statistics for the number of page views and time spent on the website.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Oceasoft manufactures and sells connected monitoring solutions for monitoring physical parameters like temperature, humidity, CO2, etc. Our solutions are for use in for industries like food, pharmacies, dentistry, laboratories, and hospitals, including transport and emergencies. I’m the digital marketing manager. I’m responsible for the visibility of the company on our website, our search engine optimization, advertising, and marketing, and also inbound marketing and digital content marketing.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebPageFX?

We launched our U.S. subsidiary two years ago. We suffer from lack of visibility in the U.S. There’s a lot of competition and our SEO was poor. We tried to improve it with a partner here in France, but it didn’t work. They had satisfying results on the French part, but they couldn’t get the same results with English. We decided to look for a partner in the U.S. with skills in SEO.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with the initial audit. It was a competitive study. Then, we started working on the website optimization. They performed a complete SEO setup including writing our meta description and meta files, working on the pictures, and making sure that once the new website was online, our redirections were okay. They work on the content, writing new pages, proposing new topics for our blog, netlinking, and doing quality-based, white hat link building. The website has been completely revamped. We have a lot more content than before.

What is the team composition?

I am in contact with a project manager.

How did you come to work with WebPageFX?

We looked for a specialized agency. I contacted the top 5–10 best-ranking SEO agencies. WebPageFX was one of the first that answered my request. Their proposal fit what I expected. After reading a few reviews and engaging with WebPageFX a few times, I decided to work with them. The conversation I had with their representative gave me confidence in their skills and expertise. I liked their flexible approach to my proposal and how they accommodated my budget.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2017 and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a complete job of revamping the website. They put in a lot of work in research, writing, and SEO to develop new, high-quality new content. I’m very satisfied with the way it works. The new site has only been online for six weeks, but we already see a boost in the statistics for the number of page views and time spent on the website. Time spent increased by almost one minute more on average with the previous visitor length at 2 ½ minutes and the new visits at 3 ½ minutes. The SEO is progressing already as well. I can see the first improvements coming and they are encouraging.

How did WebPageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

I only have contact with the project manager. She takes care of everything, working with their copywriters and technical team, and answering all my questions. I appreciate that she proposes a lot of new ideas.

The first report was very clear and intuitive. I asked for a few more details about specific data that I want to monitor on a monthly basis so my project manager will make sure that I have that on the next one. She understands that it’s important for me to receive the reports before the fifth day of every month because we have an internal meeting around that time which demonstrates their flexibility.

All exchanges, files, conversations, and tasks are through Basecamp. I have clear visibility on everything that happens and everything that will happen in the future.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I really appreciate their communication and flexibility.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so satisfied with a provider. I would definitely recommend them and do the exact same work with them over again.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t hesitate to work with them. They do what they say they will do. They listen to the customer. They understand what we want and they adapt themselves.

**The Review** — Jan 19, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX’s strategies have helped the client garner more convertible leads and a 20%–30% increase in website traffic. Thorough monthly reports provide transparency into keyword rankings, while dedication to client servicing and business understanding continues to foster trust.
"“They are the experts when it comes to SEO.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Joe Eskridge: We’re both partners of HSC Wealth Advisors. We help our clients navigate through the process of selecting financial products.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

JE: We had a standard prototype Internet website, but we didn’t have metrics or any way to track client contact or conversion rates. We also had no way to tell how clients were finding us or how they were distributed. We were also very new to SEO

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

JE: They helped us write and edit the content for our website, which really helped us present ourselves well. They also executed everything they promised in regards to SEO and driving traffic to our website. In my opinion, they achieved more that what was in the original scope.

We wanted to make the website accessible via mobile as opposed to just desktop, which has made a big difference. A website’s presentation is vital to leaving a positive impression on customers and eventually closing sales. We found that clients who read what is on our website are pre-qualified. They are almost already engaged with our process by the time they talk to us, and this was without speaking to one of our representatives. It’s pretty amazing.

We write the content for our blog, but they edit it. They also deliver beyond our expectations in this area because not everyone has expressed a desire to help us in this way. It’s been a very collaborative way for them to work with us.

What is the team composition?

JE: It’s a very collaborative approach which started with staff interviews. We then selected team leads from our end through which we now funnel information to WebpageFX.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

Justin Victor: One of our employees went to work with them, so we knew about them from the very beginning.

How much have you invested in them?

JV: We’ve spent between $10,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

JV: We began working with them in July 2014, and the relationship is ongoing as they continue to provide us with support.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

JV: WebpageFX initially tracked 100 industry keywords and put our rankings next to them, and they now prepare a monthly report that shows our updated rankings. We’re able to see how our website moves up whenever anyone types in one of the keywords.

Once they did their internal work, we saw a significant increase. Website traffic has gone up by 20%–30%, and the contact submissions have significantly increased. Everyone is pleased with the website.

JE: We’ve been able to convert website leads which have paid for our investment with WebpageFX. The website looks clean and fresh.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

JV: It is one of their strengths. They do a monthly check-in, and we have a dedicated project manager. It’s been really good, and we’ve learned a lot from them in that area.

JE: They’ve done a great job of communicating where we are in the process and what they hope to achieve. If they make a recommendation that isn’t something we’re comfortable with, then they will explain it in a more persuasive way. After a while, we’ve learned to trust them and their good judgment.

What did you find most impressive about them?

JV: The most impressive thing has been the bottom line numbers to me. We weren’t getting leads, and then we started getting them all of a sudden.

JE: I do feel like it’s a partnership. I really appreciate that they take the time to understand our business and help us convert a lot of the language to help those outside our industry understand our jargon and terms of art more easily.

Are there any areas they could improve?

JE: No. That is the challenge with someone as good as them. They are constantly asking us for feedback via online and verbal surveys. They will be successful if they continue to be so diligent about collecting feedback.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

JE: They are the experts when it comes to SEO, so be sure you listen to what they have to say.

**The Review** — Jan 19, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: WebpageFX has significantly increased Google search rankings for a portfolio of individual websites. Traffic to sites is up 23% in the last year. Their team is highly organized, accessible, and communicative. Copywriting services (i.e., blog content) is top notch compared to other vendors.
"“... our property websites have increased dramatically in Google search rankings.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the marketing specialist for a company that manages real estate properties in Central Pennsylvania. I oversee online, print, and social media advertising for the corporate brand, as well as for each individual apartment complex we manage.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

I was the first marketing person at our company, so I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of updating I had to do relating to our website and SEO. I was in need of more capacity and looking for a vendor who could act as an extension of my role.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

At first, WebpageFX handled our SEO, did some copywriting for our web pages, and provided some simple back links. They also checked our backend items (i.e., site maps and coding). They went through our website, compiled a list of issues, and helped fix them.

Now, we're at the point where they also provide infographics and write blogs for us. More importantly, they're my go-to whenever issues pop up or I have any questions.

What is the team composition?

I work mostly with an account representative, which is fantastic. He streamlines the communication process and is very communicative when it comes to discussing my needs. He has real conversations with me about SEO rather than the typical sales pitch you'd get from other SEO companies.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I found WebpageFX through a simple Google search for SEO providers in the Harrisburg area. Since their name popped up first, I figured that meant they were the best at SEO locally. Since our business is so localized, it was important to us to work with a vendor who knew the area well.

How much have you invested with them?

One contract we have runs about $1,500 a month. However, we have multiple contracts with them that range in price.

Our cost structure is pretty simple. When we first started off, the fees were higher since a lot more research needed to be done upfront. The press fee went down after about 4 months and is now consistently the same every month. The money is allocated into their system of points, in which each task accounts for a certain amount of points. For example, copywriting might account for 2 points, whereas an infographic might cost us 5 points.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've probably worked with them for about 1.5 years. Our contract started around October, 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A few of our property websites have increased dramatically in Google search rankings. Where we used to show up on the 10th page, we're now showing up on the first or second page. Our traffic to our property sites has increased by 23% in 2017 alone.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

I love the way they're organized. The team ensures that I'm in the loop on everything throughout each project. They use their own custom built project management tool that allows us to communicate through instant messages, follow a calendar, send pictures and attachments, and comment on certain tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication impresses me the most. I love that i can go to them with random questions and they'll respond thoughtfully and provide additional feedback.

Their copywriting for the website has also been fantastic. It's the best I've seen from a vendor.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have a single complaint about them. I really like the system they use and the representative we work with.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go to them with your questions. WebpageFX can provide so much more than just their listed services. You can ask them questions about improving reviews, getting certain codes on websites, and improving management of your Google Analytics.

Although we’ve operated under NextThought for a while, we didn’t have a standalone digital presence or marketing strategy. We wanted to optimize our Google rankings and increase organic traffic while enhancing our domain quality and authority.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We work with them and a local agency, but use their team for higher-level strategy and execution. They did market research on keywords and used the results to implement a digital strategy. The team identified educational and corporate content opportunities from the keywords, which they used to help us to rank higher for those services.

They had an overall tactical procedure to produce a holistic SEO strategy that included 20 unique terms. We also targeted certain keywords to appear in the top search results. Other SEO work has included: onsite and offsite optimization, domain link building, content development, writing, and a competitor analysis.

Last fall marked one year into the engagement, at which point we pivoted to a more executional content-oriented strategy. They now provide us earned media assets that we decide how to spend on various SEO services. We’ve also tailored marketing to fit our dynamic needs and goals.

What is the team composition?

We’ve used the same account representative for each project. We plan to stay with her throughout the engagement.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We conducted an exhaustive online search for SEO companies and invited the five finalists to present pitches. Not only was their pricing fair, but they also offered a thorough digital marketing strategy in addition to robust SEO services. Furthermore, their status as an American company was added value because account representatives would be highly accessible.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $18,000 – $19,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Work started October 2016 and is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have a good structure in place and are very efficient at tailoring their offerings to our needs. At first, we were appearing hundreds of pages down in Google, but now we rank in the top 20 search results. Since video production is not a horrendously competitive industry, they were able to leverage competitive terms and our geographical position to deliver these results. They were not only confident in their potential, but also delivered on those promises.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They take care of their clients, putting in extra effort to win business over and over again. They’ll go above and beyond.

Our digital account representative has been fantastic. She’s done a really good job to understand our industry and what sets us apart from the competition. She’s also very responsive over text and email; she’ll let us know whenever she’s out of the office and supply alternative contacts for that period. Overall, we find her transparent and unafraid of challenges.

We use Basecamp, which is extremely valuable for tracking progress and staying on deadline. The tool is also useful for planning future projects and maintaining transparency between the teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very transparent. The team shares the same pricing page, which they also make public. As a result, there’s no cost discrepancy in dealing with a manager, employee, or representative.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We tried to give them more business because we were happy with their service. As a result, another separate account representative took on a content development project. This team said they were proficient in Craft CMS and HubSpot. However, we got into a position where they couldn’t deliver on their promised frontend expertise. We also didn’t know what we wanted, which didn’t help the situation. While customer service was consistent with the main project, work quality appeared more dependent on project management.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do not treat engagement as a fully-outsourced project. Invest time and be flexible to maximize productivity. The information we supplied them increasingly enhanced their SEO work. They’re not mind-readers, so the client’s added effort will increase the ROI.

**Feedback Summary**: The project manager's attentiveness and broad knowledge of internet-related marketing strategies were at the heart of the collaboration’s success. The communication and reporting have been excellent and her work has been integral to the product’s growth.
""I attribute a lot of that overall growth to our engagement with WebpageFX."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the president of a small business whose primary product is a web-based cloud service.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

As a cloud-based tool, it is a necessity for us to be able to sell our product and services online. At the time, we had a certain amount of pay-per-click (PPC) through Google AdWords, but we needed to do more organic search engine optimization (SEO).

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

At the outset of our engagement, WebpageFX assigned our account to Catelin [Internet Marketing Specialist, WebpageFX]. We wanted her to take a look at our product, get a thorough understanding of it and our business, and then start looking at keywords related to our product. Her goal was to ensure that when people searched for those keywords through Google, our company would have a high ranking. Alongside that work, she took a look at our website and gave us instructions on what to clean up or adjust in order to make it easier for the search engines to pick up the keywords.

Together, Catie and I did a full assessment of our keywords, planned content updates to take advantage of specific keywords and keep our website fresh, and conducted a thorough analysis of the entire website to see what changes she recommended. Under her direction, we finally followed through on what had been a long-term line item for me and started building a blog for our site. Catie helped to clarify the best approaches to blogging for a business. We also discussed at length how to use social media to our advantage, including identifying which sites and tools to use, and at what frequency to implement those posts. In general, Catie became my consultant on anything to do with the internet.

During the course of this work, WebpageFX also produced a certain amount of content for us, like webpages and some long form content. We engaged them to help us build appropriate links and figure out how to get linkbacks from high-domain-authority websites. Any individual project that Catie led for us involves coming up with the content, editing it, approving it, and updating it on the website at a predetermined time. It is complicated and time consuming, but she handles all of that for us.

What is the team composition?

Although I have interacted with both their sales specialist and Catie’s boss at varying times throughout the engagement, the latter of whom provided me with some social media strategies, I have primarily collaborated with Catie. Sometimes she needs to go back to her internal team to get answers for me, but usually we work together directly.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I conducted research to source the right partner to achieve our PPC goals, and through that process I went through four or five different businesses. Some of them solicited me for our contract, some of them I found locally, and a couple of them were national companies. Within that research, I stumbled upon WebpageFX.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we have spent close to $100,000 annually with WebpageFX, and we pay using a monthly fee structure that usually increases every year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in 2012, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Within the first year of working with Catie, our business took off. We had somewhere between 40-50 percent growth in those early days, and we are now approaching 5,000 customers. Certain keywords that we identified during the aforementioned work essentially belonged to our website on search engines for a couple of years, which was essential to our success. Last year, we grew at 23 percent, which is still great for a more established company. We get somewhere in the range of 35,000-50,000 visitors a month on our site. I attribute a lot of that overall growth to our engagement with WebpageFX.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

WebpageFX uses Basecamp internally for their project management, although Catie and I primarily email each other on a regular basis. Through Basecamp, Catie sends us monthly updates with a series of metrics to demonstrate the results and analysis of our SEO work. She provides excellent project management, and has always been there when I have needed her.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would single out Catie. She is an outstanding support person who is responsive, intelligent, and simply nice to work with. Additionally, everybody who works at WebpageFX is of an age that generally makes them both professionally hungry and overall tech savvy. They are also largely very positive, meaning that when we ask them questions, they respond with possibilities rather than negatives.

Are there any areas they could improve?

WebpageFX’s price structure is limiting and often quite expensive. Certain parts of it at this point are so pricey that we have had to consider taking our business regarding linkbacks specifically to another contractor who can find a cheaper means for that tracking and analytics. I do not want to go elsewhere, however, because I have so enjoyed our working relationship to this point. I would like them to take a look at our needs and build a custom price structure so that there are more options for us, perhaps on a bulk basis or something similar.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

SEO overall is not intuitive, and you need to make sure you hire someone who can help you understand all aspects of it in a way that is not overwhelming. It requires a level of communication and comprehension that not all places have, but WebpageFX does.

**The Review** — Dec 4, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Communication is clear and effective, with few difficulties or problems. WebpageFX actively collaborates and makes suggestions, nearly all of which have been implemented and positively impacted SEO. Copywriting could improve, but every other aspect is excellent.
"“They’re incredibly responsive to all of our needs.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing director for Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union. We have just over 40,000 members, and I'm in charge of promoting the credit union and our offers, letting the public know that we’re an option for them versus banks, explaining how we give back to the community, etc.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?
Initially, we were looking for search engine optimization [SEO] help. We know we have some of the best products in the market, but if no one else knows, then that’s not too useful. We wanted the public to know not only the services we offer, but that we offer some of the best rates.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
Mainly we use WebpageFX for SEO. They've taken a thorough look at every single one of our pages on our website, which has about 150–200 pages beyond our landing page. They've helped us create the tags and titles, label the images (altext, metatags, etc.), write content, and connect links back to our site from external sites.
What is the team composition?
Alexa [Internet Marketing Analyst, WebpageFX] is our sole contact, but I'm sure there are other people on the team.
How did you come to work with WebpageFX?
We did an extremely thorough search for the top 50 SEO companies in the U.S. From there, we tried to figure out who could work with us as far as our size and our needs because we wanted more of that personal connection that doesn’t always come with large companies. It was a long process, but we screened it down to about 3 firms, then we set up phone interviews and in-person meetings. WebpageFX came to our office, and their interview made us choose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $850 a month, so around $18,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since February 2016.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They give us monthly updates on all of our rankings, and it has everything you would want. We can track how we’re doing holistically all the way down to what specific keywords we're tracking (about 100 different keywords or phrases). WebpageFX lets us know if and how much they've gone up in rank, or, if they've gone down, we look at those and redirect our efforts, although that doesn’t happen too often. Our ranking has pretty much been steadily increasing on everything we're trying to accomplish.
For example, we’re currently doing an auto re-financing campaign and trying to get people to the page to refinance their automobile. Year over year, traffic to that page was up 671%. Another example would be our membership application page and getting people to sign up. From the latest report, it had increased by just over 43%. We’re aiming to keep 100 words or phrases highly ranked with Google, and right now 48 of those are in the top three positions of the first page. Those are some real numbers, and WebpageFX is doing a great job.
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re incredibly responsive to all of our needs. We communicate through Basecamp, which allows both of us to track the communications. It's been a smooth process, and they've never not done what we've asked; whatever we've needed, we've received.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication with Alexa has been effective. Being proactive and making suggestions comes naturally to them, and we’ve followed almost all of their ideas. We wanted our rankings to improve, and that’s exactly what they’ve done.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their copywrite team and the actual content could be improved. It meets industry standards and the style is fine, but proofing and editing could be better. I’d like for them to hand me something that I can put right onto the site, but we haven’t gotten there, yet. Everything else is positive.

**Feedback Summary**: New features provide sales and marketing teams better awareness of visitor traffic. WebpageFX communicates well, and promptly responds to inquiries and questions. After more than two years, the partnership continues to evolve.
"“SEO is one of their biggest strengths, and they keep us on track.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Philadelphia Mixing Solutions is a multimillion-dollar company that provides industrial mixers to municipalities and large corporations that oversee wastewater facilities and production units. I’m the marketing manager.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?
The partnership began before I joined the company, but the objective was a complete overhaul of the website and search engine optimization [SEO].

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed the new site in its entirety, with key SEO aspects. They followed basic standards for website development. Now they manage our web traffic and provide ongoing performance tracking. We get weekly reports on the number of click-throughs, and subscribed to a service that gives us basic IP address information and the companies it’s linked to. They reach out to other organizations on our behalf to set up backlinking, which has been really helpful. We’re planning for them to begin writing blog entries for us to improve SEO.
At my previous employer, they helped us with benchmarking against some of our competitors. I had participated in user testing on the Philadelphia Mixing site before it went live, so my other company brought WebpageFX on upon their recommendation. We relied on them for understanding best practices for SEO, and the design, look, and feel of our websites. They did keyword research and found ways we could best utilize our site content. They did some writing for us as well as page creation.
What is the team dynamic?
I have a couple of contacts who take the lead on their team. I can reach out to either one, and they will handle any issues internally.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend $1,150 for their management, and $1,000 for Google AdWords each month.
What is the status of this engagement?
The rebuild started some time before June 2015, and our maintenance agreement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our sales team loves the tracking features. It shows them our existing customers’ traffic, and helps hone our target lists. It gives us more awareness, and allows us to follow up with our visitors.
We will kick off another project in the next few weeks to dig deeper, but we’ve seen an increase in our contacts through our online forms. We have a higher visibility of traffic, but we want to be sure that the traffic is producing value beyond pure volume.
How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?
SEO is one of their biggest strengths, and they keep us on track. They’re really good at reminding us when something is due, and they send regular updates and status reports.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are really good communicators, and they respond promptly. Even if I have a question during a weekend or a holiday, they get back to me quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Our biggest challenge has been our project management software. They use Basecamp, which works well for them, but we don’t use it for any other vendors. It’s not in my regular stream, so it’s easy to lose track of due dates or requirements from there. Other than that, we’ve had no frustrations, and no other pain points.

**The Review** — Nov 21, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The results have been significant with an increase in the number of keywords on the first page across Google, Yahoo, and Bing. They’re excellent at communication, sticking to a schedule, and working as part of a team. They take a real interest in your business to provide the best service.
""We've transitioned from me being more active to them handling the majority of the responsibility."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the sales rep, but also handle IT and internet marketing for a heavy machinery company. We manufacture specialty drum and roll handling equipment.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX.

We were looking for help with SEO. We had another company, but were unhappy with their results and were looking for a new company.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided a wide range of services, but it was primarily SEO. The website is hosted on WordPress, but it’s a custom CMS that was built by an outsource developer several years ago.

On occasion, they've helped with website issues or troubleshooting more IT-based services as needed. It started with an initial review and based upon that review, we performed some updates to the website. When we started, I’ve become less active with the SEO and we’ve transitioned to them handling the majority of the responsibility and reporting back.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

The previous organization we were working with was too small for the support we needed. They didn't have a comprehensive plan, and it seemed like they were following basic guidelines accessible on the internet.

I came across WebpageFX through a Google search. My boss prefers working with a local company; we looked at their customer testimonials and reviews and they were pretty good. I then reached out to them and they gave me very specific feedback on things I had given them right away, before even doing any agreement with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $600 a month for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2013, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen a drastic increase in the number of our keywords on the first page, if not the first few pages. We also have good results across Yahoo and Bing as well, but that’s only a fraction of the success rate. We’ve increased tracking and have noticed significant increases across all of our keywords. Previously, we primarily only focused on a few keywords and now we’re spread out and had a lot of success over a larger group.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent. We communicate using Basecamp as our project management tool, and I receive reports from Google Analytics as well. There’s a schedule set out for me so I know when things are getting done, and there’s constant updates. I also receive monthly summary reports.

They’re one of the few vendors where I can email a request, and I don’t have to follow-up with them at all. Before the project is completed, they’ll send an email with a summary of the results. For smaller requests, that can happen within a few hours which has not been my experience working with other vendors or even colleagues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

In particular, they’ve excelled with the keyword design and strategy. For some of our top keywords that we’re competing over, it’s unrealistic to surpass some of our competitors given their size. They focused on the long tail keywords and have had a lot of success increasing web traffic and results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Early on in the process, there were some issues with the copywriting. Given the status of our industry, it can be quite difficult. But, based on the feedback I proved them they have improved and the last couple of things they’ve done have been much better.

Community Manager, Riggs CAT
- Industry: Business services

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Nov 16, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The redesigned website receives a significantly higher volume of traffic and a greater number of lead conversions. The number of likes on social media pages has increased, along with reach, website click-throughs, and impressions. The team is professional, dedicated, and transparent in the work.
"“Just this past month, we had a 33% increase in my impressions and 12% increase in reach.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the community relations manager of Riggs CAT. We are a heavy equipment sales and service for Caterpillar equipment in the state of Arkansas.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed a complete facelift of our online presence with our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed a redesign of our homepage and to move it over to WordPress. They were in the development stage for about eight months and built all new web pages. They moved us over into a test environment, and started building it, and we currently have many pages on the test environment. From the conception to the rollout was under a year.

In addition to that, they are in charge of our PPC [pay-per-click] advertisements, our remarketing online ads, and our social media campaigns. The remarketing started before me, but we had a big push on our rental market. At present, the only remarketing we are doing is our rental ads and we changed out the look and feel of those. In terms of the PPC, we started out doing very specific keyword placements and searches for all of the small equipment we carry. For the social media aspect, I hired them three months ago for this, and after I told them I wanted that, we were up and going with new social media campaigns within a week.

What is the team dynamic?

I work directly with two people: Darrien [Social Media, WebpageFX], who works on my social media campaign and Amanda [Internet Marketing, WebpageFX] on the actual webpage. Anytime I have had to reach out to their emergency staff with an issue, they are very quick to respond. I have never had any problems with them.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

When this all started I was not in the marketing department. I believe our company met them at the Caterpillar Marketing Conference when they were a vendor there. They built a relationship from that point — we liked their work and it seamlessly worked together.

How much have you invested in them?

We spend around $2,500 per month, an amount that has been pretty consistent for the past couple of years.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our company began working with them in 2010 and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have seen a great increase in the traffic to our website as well as our leads conversions.

In terms of social media, they are doing great. When we started, we had 2,700 people that liked our page on Facebook, and now we are at 4,200 within a 3-month span. Just this past month, we had a 33% increase in my impressions and 12% increase in reach. We have almost 200 new followers on Instagram, as well as 27 new clicks throughs to the website from Facebook.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They are awesome. They are on top of their work and are very organized and professional. They document their work very well, using Basecamp to keep all of our content and reports in one space. If there is ever something I talk about on the phone, they update it on our Basecamp pages. They are quick on turnaround time, and they have never told me, "no" to anything I have wanted to add or change. They always give great advice about what they see in the industry, what some of their other customers have done, and how it can be adapted to our industry.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am very inexperienced on the web platform side of things and they help with their extensive knowledge base about what works well, what doesn’t work, and what to tweak. They have a way of explaining things and tell us what we should do, which always turns out to be correct after it is executed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I am very happy with them. Anything we have had an issue with was quickly changed and hasn’t been an issue again.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to ask every question you can think of. There is a reason why they have so many clients and why they are ranked as the top workplace in Pennsylvania. They are very transparent about their pricing as everything is on their website, which is something I really appreciate. Scour their website and take a look at what they have to offer. They have the metrics to back up their good business.

"“We get great results.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Ransome Cat is a Caterpillar heavy equipment dealership. We sell, service, and rent equipment. We also sell parts. I'm the marketing coordinator.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed our website redesigned.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us out with redesigning our website, providing SEO content, and making sure our webpage is optimized for customers to find us. I talk to Amanda [‎Lead Internet Marketing Consultant, WebpageFX] on a regular basis. She sends reports on how our website is performing and makes great suggestions on what we can do to optimize our website.

They also helped with page development. If I need something elaborate done on the website, I contact her. She helps me with uploading content and editing our pages so that the site is current and relevant to the services we offer.

A lot of our content was brought over from the previous website. They helped us establish the new pages with new content. We're currently redesigning our online customer tools page. They helped us lay out the page, and we're waiting on management approval to launch it.

We have 2 small campaigns with them, and she suggested that we increase our budget to get more results. She participated in a couple of calls with us, explaining how Google works, how AdWords help us come up on the search engines, and what we can do to improve our results.

What is the team dynamic?

Amanda has been great. Every time I reach out to her, she gets back to me within the hour or the same day.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

The previous person responsible for this project raved about WebpageFX and was very happy with them. She had another contact before Amanda, and she was very happy with their response, suggestions, and professionalism.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent about $15,000–$50,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We get great results. Each monthly report shows an increase in hits on our website based on the keywords that we have selected.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been outstanding. If I need her to explain something to me, she always takes the time to call and explain things several times to us. We have different people in charge of different areas in our company asking similar questions. Instead of explaining things to them, I just have Amanda explain since she's the expert.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What most impressed me is their response to my questions and their willingness to always go above and beyond and help us out with whatever challenges we're facing with the website.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any suggestions or complaints. We're happy with what we have with them.

**The Review** — Nov 3, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Generating topical and engaging content that corresponded to seasonal industry trends revamped the company’s blog. The website’s search rankings improved after targeting specific Google AdWords. Efforts ultimately improved the brand’s digital fingerprint.
""Currently featured at the top of major search rankings, we’ve accomplished our ultimate goal."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the marketing manager of a local jewelry store with three locations in central Pennsylvania.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Facing competition from large business chains in our area, like Jared’s and Kay’s Jewelers, we needed to widen our digital fingerprint. We sought to expand our digital blueprint on all our platforms by improving our SEO and Google AdWords.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

In our efforts to improve our SEO, we targeted an extensive list of google keywords. We wanted to increase our rankings not in the obvious terms ("jewelry store," "engagement rings," etc.), but also with the specific names of our designer brands, including Tacori, Hearts on Fire, Pandora, and John Hardy.

What is the team dynamic?

Typically, we communicate with their team of developers through one primary contact. We occasionally worked with his direct partner, who specializes in content project management, as well.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We limited our initial search to contractors within our community. As a small business ourselves, we value local partners. Our owners joined us for several initial meetings to discuss how their offerings could help us reach our projected goals. We evaluated their proposal in light of their tremendous reputation, and decided to move forward.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve partnered with them for two years, and are continuing to work on new projects together.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their work has generated an extensive uptick in traffic to our website. Currently featured at the top of major search rankings, we’ve accomplished our ultimate goal. Having tracked our results prior to the engagement, we saw immediate growth in all our areas of focus when they joined our efforts. They provide new content, including video production, and review material we’ve previously generated.

Our blog page has benefitted immensely. They tailor our areas of focus by evaluating seasonal interest and industry trends. We’ve added more carefully tailored content. Our new offerings cover engaging topics like the best Mother's Day gifts, top ring designers, what benchmarks of quality to look for in handcrafted jewelry, and the perfect ring for your personality.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They successfully met our deadlines, and we were in constant communication. They touched base on a weekly, and sometimes daily, basis. They respond to our emails within 24 hours, if not sooner.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve proposed many innovative ideas, and are on the cutting edge of current digital trends. They present us with topical information in an organized, easily consumable format. Ultimately, they provide us with opportunities to excel, and to better ourselves in areas that most need improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Educating yourself about current events in the media, trends, and digital platforms can help improve business and redefine your goals.

**The Review** — Nov 2, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The scope of work has increased over the years as they grew as a company and offered more services. Their reports highlight their positive impact and give a good level of detail about what has been done. They are supportive partners who are happy to offer explanations and communicate regularly.
"“I see positive reports every month in my inbox.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We are a one-on-one personal training studio specializing in full-body strength exercise. We do everything by appointment, customizing it to each individual's needs, goals, and limitations. I'm the founder of this company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

I was looking for them to design and maintain the website, as well as do web marketing, specifically SEO [search engine optimization]. Over the years, we've had 4 different SEO companies help with our website. WebpageFX was the fourth.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They work on our website’s design and SEO. I’d had a friend make our website during the transition from the last company to WebpageFX, using Webflow as the CMS [content management system]. Even though they suggested moving over to WordPress, they haven't insisted on it. They're really good with working with us, being able to hold our hand, work with the current designer of the website, and have weekly check-ins with us to be able to keep up with each one of these monthly reports.

We have a reports page that we can go to, so we can look at the reports, add on different things, and really be able to grow with our business without having to spend too much and redesign the website completely. They also provide an auto email service that sends out a 3-sequence email to prospects and current clients.

What is the team dynamic?

It's been a very good experience since the beginning. There are two people we've communicated with, Jordan [Pritchard, marketing specialist] and another person. They made the trip to our studio to talk with us about the project. It was a great transition.

How much have you invested with them?

We initially spent $1,100 per month. We’ve since requested an auto email service that’s connected to the contact forms on the website and costs $200 per month, so we’ve been spending $1,300 per month now for the last 1 1/2–2 years.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since 2014.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the beginning, when you start working with a new company and SEO campaign, it can take a while to see results. We not only saw results in 2–3 months with using WebpageFX, but we've also seen a steady increase.

I see positive reports every month in my inbox. Some months are better than others, but there is always an increase, and the reports are very detailed. Everybody's happy, the clients are happy. It's been good.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

As we've grown, they've grown with their company too, and also now offer new products and services. I've been very happy with the progression. Our project management is customized. Some business owners don't even want to deal with any of this; they just want a website built, but I appreciate having input. I also appreciate having my hands held. In the beginning, we would have weekly phone calls, which was something I requested.

They also initially had a separate website, a marketing cloud. It's great, because not only can you see the initial stages with the SEO at any time, you can see updates from their team, things that they did to our site, and what’s happening. We used to check it every day, but over time, we didn't feel the need to keep going there. Now, we look at the contact forms or the prospects that are coming in from the website. You can see what pages those users visited and how long they stayed on them. There's even a section where you can watch a video of them on the website. The detail is incredible. It's a very useful tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate the personal touch. They are a mid-sized company, but they haven't lost that small business vibe. Some people don't like the personal touch, but we do. We told them we need them to check in with us and we want to know what's going on, and they do that.

I'm very detail-oriented, and they understood that. Other companies might act like they do in the first month, but WebpageFX has been able to always do that and customize it for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I do not have anything to complain about. There's not a lot that I would do differently or say that they're lacking. If you asked me last year, I would have something. But right now, we've straightened everything out and set ground rules.

**The Review** — Nov 2, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: After implementing their recommendations, the company now ranks on page one of Google search for the majority of their keywords, while their organic traffic has increased five fold. Their AdWords are up 300 percent, and their email marketing is proving immediately profitable by a 10 percent margin.
""Our account manager feel like one of our own internal employees because he genuinely cares about our success."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Rvinyl, which is a company that sells custom automotive accessories.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

After the Google Panda update, we went from being the top-ranking site for our market to placing on page 10 on Google search. We needed to know whether our poor ranking was due to a recent website redesign, or an entirely different issue.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They initially did an audit for us to ensure our redesigned website was search engine and user-friendly. Their findings indicated that the website’s design was not causing our poor rankings, so we hired them to do SEO consultations. They provide us with a list of areas we needed to improve in order to get better search engine-visibility, and then help us execute those improvements, including assisting us in generating SEO-friendly content and effective marketing strategies. They’re helping us build out our backlink profile and are also working on our Google AdWords campaign and email marketing. Throughout the process, they measure our progress through SEO analytics and keep us updated with monthly calls.

What is the team dynamic?

Our main point of contact is the account manager. He provides us with content, and we’ll review it and suggest changes. He’ll then bring it back to his team of graphic designers, copywriters, coders, etc., and they’ll make the changes. That’s a very efficient system for us because we prefer to interact with one person, as opposed to the entire team.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We used Clutch to find potential companies. We reached out to about five, and narrowed it down to three. We then took a five-hour drive to Pennsylvania to meet with WebpageFX because we wanted to see their offices and meet with the team we’d be working with. We really liked their business model and services, so we decided to move forward with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested close to $50,000 total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in October 2016 and have continued since then. We intend to partner with them for a long time

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s taken well over a year of hard work, but we now rank on page one of Google search for most of our keywords, and our organic traffic has increased five fold. Our AdWords are up 300 percent which is an achievement we’ve never seen while partnering with other companies. Our first email marketing campaign we did with WebpageFX proved to be immediately profitable by a 10 percent margin.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They cater their reports to our needs with exact level of communication that we want, delivered in the exact format the we want. When we reach out to them, we get quick response that doesn’t feel canned and inauthentic. If our account manager is out on vacation, we have all the necessary information to continue our work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our account manager is fantastic. He feels like one of our own internal employees because he genuinely cares about our success. He’s fighting alongside us to ensure we achieve our goals.

Do you have any advice to potential customers?

Make sure that you set realistic standards for both your progress and your budget.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Bricco is an Italian restaurant. I’m the special events and marketing coordinator. I handle the social media, keep in touch with the website developers, and organize special events.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed help getting our name out there, as we're a little off the beaten path of other restaurants in the city.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed our entire website. They currently do 2 blog posts a month, which we post to social media. They keep our menus updated and our pictures fresh and updated. They put our events up, using the right words so we come up in the best searches. They work to get us linked back on great websites by finding different backlinks for our site.

What is the team dynamic?

I mostly interact with Sarah [Account Manager, WebpageFX].

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I wasn’t involved in selecting them.

How much have you invested with them?

Around $30,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together about 6 years ago.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their SEO efforts have definitely shown in our rankings in Google searches and similar. We come up number 1 on pretty much any search for a restaurant in the area. Our blog posts have great keywords that get a lot of attention, and we get many click-throughs on our social. One of their new features I like is being more involved in review sites. I get a monthly email stating our ranking on TripAdvisor, Google, and Yelp.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Sarah is always quick to respond and help us in any way. If I need a quick turnaround because I’m promoting an event and need an email blast to go out that week, she makes it happen, even if she has to write it herself. They use Basecamp, so I can log in and see the calendar or what they’re planning, review blog posts and emails and approve them, and communicate with Sarah.

They also do webinars, which gives me a better understanding of what they’re doing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their culture and customer service are great, and they’re always available. They’re always enthusiastic and up for anything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You can ask for anything, and they’ll let you know if it's possible. Don’t be afraid to tell them your vision—they will do their best to make it a reality.

**The Review** — Nov 1, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Many of the school’s new families attribute their enrollment to the visibility of the website, and the edification it provides. The improved quality and increased scope of content promote a robust community and online presence. Collaborative efforts help generate innovate projects each month.
""Cultivating a deep familiarity with our school and mission empowers them to accurately represent us online."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the development director and marketing coordinator of Christian School of York. Our private school has been a part of the community for 61 years. We partner with parents to provide a Christ-centered education for children age two through grade twelve. My role encompasses all of our fundraising activities. I cultivate donors, plan events, and lead our social media and web marketing.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our goal was to position ourselves in the forefront of parents’ minds when they searched for specific Christian schools, preschools, and early education centers. WebpageFX improved our website’s SEO and analytics to this end.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we’ve worked together, WebpageFX has helped us plan new projects and brainstorm content to highlight online each month. The team creates long-forms highlighting our program offerings, and generates key search terms to maximize SEO. During a visit, our primary contact gathered documentation to support his team’s content creation. They helped us work with our web designer to ensure site security and preempt Google’s new flagging attribution.

Our next scheduled project will involve taking pictures and potentially videos onsite. Ideally, our site will function as a resource for parents seeking alternative educational options for their children. Currently, we’re focused on boosting our academic section.

What is the team dynamic?

Our primary contact, Alec Marshall, needed a temporary replacement last summer. When a problem arose, that individual responded to me promptly. He conducted the necessary research, and guided us through the solution. The team had a system in place to ensure that our needs would be met, regardless of who was in charge.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

Our school's partnership began before I started my current position, where I’ve worked for a little over five years.

How much have you invested with them?

Our monthly expenses are a couple hundred dollars. We spend less than $10,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement has exceeded five years.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Improving our website has fostered a greater online presence and increased enrollment in our programs. Each long form we produce generates significant search queries, and even improved our organic traffic. We've fostered a more robust understanding of the site’s functionality under their pedagogy.

Adding more extensive information to our website saw an immediate spike in program enrollment.  One of our initial endeavors, highlighting our early education center, continues to see monthly improvement. After completing a project focused on last year’s summer camp, several newly enrolled families indicated they’d found us via a Google search.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve worked with three different employees. Our initial contact limited communication to monthly reports, which we now supplement with follow-up calls. Since he’s led our efforts, Alec has further expanded this engagement. Multiple times, he’s come all the way from Harrisburg for on-site visits. After an initial tour, he met our principal while building the academic program page. He works closely with his individual team members. His thorough knowledge of our organization enables him to make the best possible recommendations for us when advising his colleagues in other departments.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cultivating a deep familiarity with our school and mission empowers them to accurately represent our school and mission online. He does thoughtful, considerate things unprompted, like bringing us coffee. I know we're not Alec’s only client, but he treats us like we are, and makes us feel valuable.

""I can’t say enough nice things about this company, and I wish more companies behaved the way they do."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the co-founder of Specialized Dentistry of New Jersey. We provide dental care. I’m not a dentist however, and am extremely involved in the day-day administrative and marketing aspects of the business.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our website wasn’t performing the way we wanted it to.  We had recently left another web and multimedia company and were looking for somebody who could help with website optimization, and drive phone calls to our office.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They provide SEO and PPC management. We use Google Adwords for keyword tracking, and they provide monthly reports that include our impressions, as well as which keywords are being collected. We’re frequently adding and taking away words, removing words that are of low value and putting budgets onto words that are high value. We're always changing the position of things on our website to see what's going to get people to convert or click on our phone number.

Even more than that, we frequently talk with our main developer, Katie, about different ways to reach our clients which might not be “included” in our package. She’s set me up with MailChimp templates and provided training on how to use them. That’s helped optimize the blogs we write. They go above and beyond, and at the end of the day they want our metrics to be moving in a positive direction.

What is the team dynamic?

I’ve interacted with 2 people at WebpageFX, the first was Travis. He brought me on board and since then, I’ve been working with 1 person for the past 2 years who has been managing out site.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I found them through a Google search. I had called several different companies, and when I spoke with WebpageFX, I had 1 contact person who I was speaking with throughout the process of trying to determine what they could offer that suited us best. That person was always kind and courteous. It sounded like I had his full attention, and like he was never talking to me on speaker phone.

They took the time to hear about what I was hoping to do with our website and they came up with a specific package for us, whereas all the other companies gave a flat fee. WebpageFX really helped us to get to the roots of what we needed to do to our current website platform, and what it would be like going forward from month-to-month to stay ahead of the industry standards so that we’re always coming up on our Google searches. They tailor what I need to our industry and more specifically, my business, and how I wanted our website to perform than getting a cookie cutter plan.

How much have you invested with them?

Between $15,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January of 2016, and it’s ongoing. It never ends – it’s always changing, evolving, and updating. We’re always adding new resources, videos, newsletters, content, and patient education.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When we started working with them, we were at an all-time low of 10 new patients a month and this month; we hit an all-time high and have scheduled 36 new patients. Their efforts on the website, has more than tripled our volume. We’ve also experienced an increased in web traffic.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very hands on and extremely response. If I want anything updated, say our smile gallery – it’s right away. They’ll ask what we want to do and what we’re looking for, and get right to it. They’re really quick to act. They act with the same sense of urgency that I come to them with, which is really fantastic.

They have a work board for our website which contains a calendar, allowing me to see exactly when they’re working on our project. I can verify that deadlines are being met that way as well. It’s a very transparent process, whereas other companies more often give 10 hours a month to your site and you no accountability. You don’t know what those hours equal to. WebpageFX is different in that, all the work being done is very transparent because they share their work board with you.

I couldn't be happier. I recommend them to a lot of people I think they're fantastic and they're great company. It’s been a wonderful relationship. We’ve been in business and had a website for 10 years, and it was the first time a person who manages the website came out and visited our office for a personal meeting. We outlined our goals for the following year in that meeting, which was unique. I felt like that was really over delivering in client service to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They over deliver in client service. They’re very personal in their service, and if you call them you will speak with your contact. We’re able to work closely with them; the lines of communication are very clear and everything that we pay for is transparent. There is no guessing if our website is being taken care of appropriately, I’m confident that is always is.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I can’t say enough nice things about this company, and I wish more companies behaved the way they do. It’s really top-notch.

**The Review** — Oct 26, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The SEO work has brought in organic traffic and clicks which have produced conversions, and the content they created is of very good standard. The first site exhibited some issues including careless mistakes, but these were fixed, and the team is generally well structured, organized, and accountable.
"“The blog articles they’ve written and the links that they’ve put out there are high quality.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

One Point Partition LLC sells toilet partitions and bathroom stalls. I’m one of the owners.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed help with online and digital marketing. We needed to improve our presence and bring in more conversions and sales.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We started off with SEO and they’ve been doing that for about a year. They spent quite a bit of time researching different keywords and looking at what our competitors have done. They came up with a list of keywords to focus in on. We both went through that list, reviewed, and approved the different keywords. They created in-depth blogs with lots of content. They also did link building and producing links in different places.

A few months ago, we had them freshen up our site and make it more mobile and SEO friendly. They started off with me filling out a questionnaire and talking about the business, conversions, and how we do things in regard to keeping track of the customers and the sales process. Then they came up with 2 different options for an overall concept or design. We chose one and they started building it out to look very similar to our current site, but with a different seam and layout. They used WordPress. We went through a couple different revisions. Currently, we’re in our last round of revisions and getting ready to launch.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We searched online. I went outside my local area and decided to find a good, established company that had some horsepower behind them. I talked to WebpageFX during the negotiation and proposal process and got comfortable with what they were capable of doing for us. Compared to the other companies, they took a few days to research our company and our market. They came up with a pretty in-depth proposal that showed that they did that research and found good strategies for us.

How much have you invested with them?

Around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October of last year and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With the SEO work, we went from nothing to several organic clicks and organic traffic. There are conversions out of those, which is fantastic. We’re on our way up to where we want to be. The blog articles they’ve written and the links that they’ve put out there are high quality. They flushed out our website with more content by changing and adding navigation. I didn’t have to give them too much input either. They did all the research their own to create the different bathroom partition related content.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They had a pretty rigid process on how they handle keeping track of revisions and the communication during those revisions to make sure they get done completely. They use Basecamp. I appreciate them keeping track of what’s going on with different due dates. It keeps everybody accountable and on schedule. I get monthly reports on the SEO and campaigns that we’re doing, which are very well defined. It’s something they built internally to capture all the different data and analytics and I’m impressed with that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The project management is the biggest thing: their use of Basecamp and ability to keep track of their different tasks. You can tell they’ve done many different projects and know how to handle them. I’m familiar with other companies being gung-ho at the beginning and then it starts to taper off. WebpageFX doesn’t do that. They document the work and the status of the project in the project management system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

When they first prepared the site for my initial review, I found a lot of mistakes. The developer should have taken their time and gone through and made sure the link work and the words are spelled correctly. The work involved copying a lot of content from the current site to the new site and there were pieces missing. Also, with some of our forms that we have on our website, they should have tested to make sure they functioned exactly like the current site. I was a little upset that that didn’t happen. It took a couple rounds to get that fixed.

"“They’re good at creating the right content and identifying the best keywords.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of VibraScreener, which designs and produces industrial vibrating screeners and sifters.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

I was looking to build a presence online. We had been using pay-per-click and tried a firm for SEO [search engine optimization], but it didn’t work out.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing website for which WebpageFX helped with SEO. They’ve focused on links and content, creating new, high-quality backlinks every 2 months. In the beginning of our campaign, they did a lot of work on title tags for the website.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I read a lot about how a website can be grown organically and found a white paper that they’d written. I spoke to one of their contacts on the phone, possibly an account manager, and asked a lot of questions about the process. It took me three months to make a decision since I didn’t want to make another mistake. I’d spent a lot of money in the past and didn’t get any results, so I wanted to choose the right firm for our business. WebpageFX had the right combination of price, knowledge, and expertise.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $1,000 per month during the first 6 months. Currently, I’m paying $750 per month for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with WebpageFX 2–2 ½ years ago, and I plan to expand the scope of their work.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen increases in organic searches almost every quarter, and we’ve been ranking higher for some of our keywords, sitting in the 2nd or 3rd position. Our site traffic has gone up by 10%–15%, with around 2,600 visits per month. We’ve also gotten a lot of leads. Since things can always be better, there’s a lot more work to do.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Their first account manager was very responsive and always willing to help. We’ve had a change in managers this week, and the new person is good as well. They’ve provided a customer management system where I can review the schedule and tasks. I also receive a report from them every month.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re good at creating the right content and identifying the best keywords. They’ve analyzed which terms were easier to rank for and which ones would bring the best results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I want to have more backlinks, but they’ve told me I need to pay more money for this. I can understand this, from a business perspective. Doing more pruning on the website’s title tags and other elements would be another improvement. WebpageFX did this in the beginning, but they haven’t made any changes in a while. Tweaking things a bit would help.

Marketing Manager, Drayer Physical Therapy

**The Review** — Oct 17, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Website traffic has increased by 94%, and sessions have gone from 12,000 to 23,000 in one year. WebpageFX offers transparent progress updates, reliable communication, and accommodating project management. They strive to ensure all developmental changes coordinate with SEO efforts.
"“WebpageFX helped us grow by adding so much more to our presence.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the advertising and marketing manager of Drayer Physical Therapy, an outpatient physical therapy provider. We have outpatient centers in 15 states on the East Coast. We promote these services through online searches, or directly to patients. In our department, we have printed supplies that go out to our regional marketing places, as well as online digital marketing components.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

WebpageFX assists us with our online visibility.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They did a redesign for our website on WordPress. We had another third-party company that redesigned a very basic website, and the functionality wasn’t there. They make individual location pages for each of our centers, work on optimization for local search, and provide SEO for organic search terms. They do monthly maintenance and make suggestions on different ways to make the website more interactive for the patient’s experience.

The SEO work that we’ve done with WebpageFX also helps us with link building. They add keywords to the backend of our websites, and also set up how and what we should include. They have a couple of image sliders and different plugins that they’ve put on our website as well.

We had a listing of our centers before, but they never had their own landing page, so we weren’t able to market individual centers. Everything WebpageFX offered has helped organically. We’ve set up some Google Plus pages for every single center, and WebpageFX helped make that happen. They’re also continuously adding testimonials, pictures, and directional sentences, which have been of the most help to us.

What is the team composition?

We have a general rep and an SEO rep.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

Our previous CIO started using WebpageFX for some changes, and he informed me that they’d been named Technology Company of the Year. That’s when internally IT was maintaining our website, before we switched it over to our marketing department. We likely found them through local search or familiarity with their work.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve been on a retainer that runs just under $1,000 per month for the past 2 years. This cost covers our SEO and regular website maintenance. We’ve also had separate payments for projects. The WordPress redesign cost around $5,000, and we’ve also spent around $2,000 for various projects, including migration of existing websites into our CMS.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with them since 2014.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In terms of SEO, each time we look at our traffic, it’s usually doubled [year over year]. We’re definitely growing, and we can attribute it all to our website optimization. We were in a really bad place in the beginning, but WebpageFX helped us grow by adding so much more to our presence. Their last report shows our average session duration as over 1 minute, with 2 pages per session, which we try to keep on the higher side. Our total website traffic in December increased by 94% compared to last year, with the sessions increasing from 12,000 to 23,000.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Our SEO rep is great. She meets with us monthly and goes over the reports regarding our site visits in a year-to-date or month-over-month comparison to see how traffic has changed and what patterns are being formed. Her communication style is good, and she always lets us know what she’s doing and what we’re responsible for.

We use Basecamp for project management. The work isn’t as consistent because we’re not continuously giving them updates. Sometimes, we don’t really know where our monthly maintenance is going, but for the most part, they accomplish tasks which we assign to them.

Currently, the website is finished and running. We just recently sent some changes, and the SEO rep has been good about giving us a timeline and letting us know how things are going. Their project management is good, and they provide transparency to their progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication is great. They have a team where everybody is an expert in an individual area. When we’re speaking about SEO, our rep can go back to the developers, ask for changes, and find out if the changes coordinate with SEO efforts. Having an expert in each area is nice, because we can get everything we need in one place.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I suggest clients be more proactive in regards to staying up to date with technology. Sometimes, we’re catching up with what’s already going on. We knew local search was already happening, so we had to involve ourselves quickly.

**Feedback Summary**: Their thoughtful, dedicated service is reinforced by thorough monthly reporting and active communication. The year over year conversion rate is up by 35.76%, and new users have increased to 36%. WebpageFX remains an essential partner with the goal of truly engaging the target audience.
"“WebpageFX always asks how they can do a better job.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

We fabricate countertops, and I’m involved with outside sales and marketing. We do digital templating of the area where the customer wants a countertop, then we create and install them. We’re heavily involved with social media.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

WebpageFX’s owner spoke to our owner about SEO and the benefits of the backend helping the frontend of our website. We started out with a basic package from them, and saw immediate results.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They first assessed the backend performance of our website, starting with keyword research and optimization. They guaranteed us that 10 of those keywords would be in the top 3 results within a certain amount of time. They also wrote copy for us, and we began to see results in terms of how people were discovering our business. We knew that while we didn’t understand everything they were doing, that their services were starting to work in our favor.

They realized that I was doing the blog and that it would be better to incorporate it into our website. They moved it for me, and also created some awesome content. One that really stands out was Will’s [President and Founder, WebpageFX] idea regarding homemade granite and stone cleaner. He did research to see if people were searching for that topic, then used it to bring people to our website. The more people that land on our page, the more Google will recognize as a value to the industry.

After he wrote the content, we actually started making our own granite and stone cleaner based on the article. We’re now off the charts in terms of the amount of volume for those keywords. We now use it for marketing, and we also give the cleaner out to customers during our kitchen tours. It helped us stand out from competitors, because they only talk about industry prices.

WebpageFX also managed our PPC ads this year, but we’re not currently very active because we switched gears. Right now, Will’s working on a piece for us involving white countertops because it’s in high demand right now. People have a lot of questions regarding what material to use in their kitchen and how those products behave differently, so it will bring a lot of traffic to our site. WebpageFX is going to do the research and writing with our input, then they’ll go back through and make edits and put it on the website. I’m positive that we’ll see positive results from that.

What is the team dynamic?

Will always explains everything to me. If I have a question, or if I’m confused about something, he always walks me through whatever I need to know.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

Our owner was approached by WebpageFX’s owner. In the beginning, we were thinking about if we needed to use SEO, and if we did, how we could get the most benefit from it. Before hiring WebpageFX, we investigated within the market so we had something to compare. In my opinion, the work they do is intangible, so it’s not something that is easily understandable. We researched and interviewed different companies, but we had an immediate connection with WebpageFX. There was a certain trust in the engagement, and they shed light on their process and what they would do for us, ultimately making it more tangible and measurable.

How much have you invested with them?

We’re paying $800 per month. Our budget is very flexible because if something isn’t working the way we want it to, or if we want to increase our activity, Will is very accommodating. He does try to work within our agreed budget, though.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2013, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website ranks in the top 4 results. They show us organic versus paid on the reports they provide. The reports also go into detail regarding keyword increases and decreases. There are also metrics for the blog regarding which posts are garnering positive results. We track everything, then they crunch the numbers and show us what is or isn’t working.

The internet marketing report is available to me every month, and it goes over traffic via unbranded organic search and gives me the monthly and yearly trends. It also gives me the goal conversion rate. The year over year conversion rate is up 35.76%, and our new users have increased to 35.99%. Our sessions have increased from 2,200 to 3,000 in the last year, and new users have increased from 1,717 to 2,335. I’m pretty pleased with the outcome so far.

We have a free repair estimation page, so we’re also able to measure how many people fill that out. We’re also doing call tracking and organic calls on our contact page. If a new user comes to our website and they’ve never used Gmail before, the website will show a different type of phone number. This allows the call to be recorded when they contact us.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They are excellent with project management. In the very beginning of our relationship, they asked us how we wanted to receive information and who to send it to. From there, I’ve been the primary contact who receives all that information, then I consolidate it and give it to our owner and business manager. WebpageFX always asks how they can do a better job.

We use Excel and Google Drive to share all of the reports, which allows us to have easy-to-use file folders that work better within our overall system. They also have something called Marketing Cloud that I’m able to go in and look at.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re good listeners, which speaks volumes to me. Will is always open for new ideas and input. If I don’t understand something, they’re willing to accommodate my needs and change what they’re doing. They always find a solution, and there are never any problems working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing I ever faced with them was needing more simplified and shareable reports. They took care of the problem, and continue to address whatever I need.

**The Review** — Oct 5, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: They are a well-integrated, strategic partner that provides excellent services which produce significant results, including for paid and organic search. They handle the busy workload with ease, and work on their own initiative, with a proactive, flexible, and approachable style.
"“I can’t cite anything that hasn’t improved since we brought them on board.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for PlayPower, an outdoor recreation play company that also provides outdoor commercial shade structures and indoor play. I manage the Eloqua marketing automation, the Salesforce CRM [customer relationship management], and the PPC [pay-per-click] and remarketing through AdWords.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed an SEO [search engine optimization] and PPC provider for our newly acquired brand.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Primarily, I work with them on the PPC and remarketing side of things. They also do our SEO.

I don’t have to really manage them. They know our brand. When PlayWorld was acquired by PlayPower, they then became very knowledgeable on all of those brands. We expanded the scope and opened our contract to include all the brands, and allowed them to take on all the work.

What is the team dynamic?

We’re occupying most of their web development team. There are multiple players involved now, as far as our team members, and they understand all the politics between the brands and they work with that. It’s like they’re a part of our team.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

When I came on board, we were already working with them. I was a little hesitant because I come from an agency background and am very critical of other agencies. However, I really found out that they are tremendously good. They got on board with our other brands so quickly, even with all the other clients they have.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $100,000 to $125,000 on brand management. For AdWords, we’ve allotted between $75,000 and $100,000 for the year. The whole PPC remarketing spend for 2018 will be around $250,000. That doesn’t include SEO, which we’ve also tried to ramp up.

In total, it comes to under $800,000, not including ad spend. We’re one of their larger clients.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together for the PlayWorld brand in 2013. We’ve had them working on the other PlayPower brands since 2016. The work is ongoing and we hope to expand it further.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything on our AdWords account has climbed positively and all our SEO has been positive too. I can’t cite anything that hasn’t improved since we brought them on board. It’s been a significant improvement. They know the business almost as well as we do.

They’re very good at juggling their workload. You wouldn’t even know that we’re just one of many as they’re good at keeping that personal feel.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They are incredibly proactive. I don’t have to ask them to check in about brand performance or hold their hand on anything. As long as we pay our invoices, we get a solid performance from them. I feel very confident to let them run with it, especially as we haven't been as perfect as we could have been on our side, which made it a little more challenging for them.

We have bi-weekly meetings. If I ever say we need to meet weekly or we can just cancel this meeting, they’re very responsive and flexible with all of that. We’ve gone to visit their office and they were very hospitable. They have come to visit our office as well. Any meeting that we’ve had with them, whether it’s on the phone or in person is very productive. They’re approachable.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have an incredibly happy team. When we say we need to have more meetings or contribute a little more time to this, they don’t immediately ask for more money. They’re flexible in that sense as well. There’s some loyalty with them. We truly have a strategic partner with WebpageFX.

They’re also understanding and their relationship with us is fantastic. We have thrown so much at them with the acquisition and they took it all in their stride. They worked with us and went out of their way to get things in front of us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One of their disadvantages is location. You wouldn’t think that such a powerhouse of a company would be located in central Pennsylvania. They are comparable, if not better than the big hitter advertising agencies that I’ve worked for in New York. Everything from the work that they do to the environment that they have and their overall business model. I have no complaints, which is incredible.

**The Review** — Oct 2, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: Their team fostered confidence and transparency after a previous vendor left much to be desired, and organic leads and CTRs have almost doubled since the relationship began. A proactive approach, effective communication, and quick problem-solving continue to make for a satisfying relationship.
"“They check in with me so regularly that I never have to worry about reaching out to them.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the owners of North American Auto Equipment, and we sell automotive and heavy duty shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, rim straighteners, and frame machines. We sell on a national level, and also provide service and installation.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We wanted to enhance our website SEO. Our previous vendor was performing poorly, which caused us to have low visibility.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They started out by interviewing me via phone regarding what my current SEO manager was or wasn’t doing. They really helped me understand what SEO was, and asked me basic questions about my company’s products, current status, and future goals. They checked my website to see how it was functioning across Google and other various search engines, and identified how my competitors were ranking in comparison.

They offered many different packages depending on what direction I wanted to go in, and also made suggestions as to what they thought would bring more activity to my website. They informed me on what bigger companies were doing in the same area, but I chose to stay on middle ground.

They meet with me every month to go over their calendar and show me that they’ve successfully fulfilled the prior month’s duties. I haven’t seen the results on the internet, but I’m seeing them on our webpage. They’ve added more content in appropriate areas, and have taken out content where it’s not needed. Alec [Web Marketing Specialist, WebpageFX] has a team of writers who provide long and short form content, including blogs and captions for images or videos. This allows my audience to spend less time reading, and more time looking through my website as a whole.

WebpageFX identified our target audience as being visually receptive, so they suggested we add more pictures and videos, make the pictures larger, and adjust our content appropriately. Their advice has been substantial and has helped enhance our website on the backend. Alec constantly adds information to increase our visibility and to keep our SEO proactive.

They put a contact form on our website that automatically gets sent to finance companies for approval, which ultimately streamlined the entire process. Now, I’m only contacted to close the deal after a customer has been approved or denied.

In the future, we plan on looking at our competitors to see what we could be capturing more effectively on our site.

What is the team dynamic?

I work with Alec, and although he does a lot of the work himself, he always refers back to his team. I find this impressive because it shows there’s a dedicated group of people on many different levels working on my website. They provide a comforting and collaborative relationship.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I had no prior SEO knowledge, so I searched for some information on Google. I found WebpageFX’s website, and saw that they were ranked as one of the best in the industry for the type of work I needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $15,000 total, and we currently pay a $1,200 maintenance fee. I was able to pick and choose what services I needed, and if I ever need additional resources, I can add those without issue.

When we were wrapping up the project, the website landing pages weren’t directing to the appropriate places, so we had to make some updates in the backend. It took WebpageFX about a week to figure out the problem, and I was charged some one-time upfront fees so they could assign additional resources to fix the issue.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2016, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We receive a monthly report, but we get more involved during the quarterly report because the metrics are more telling of our progress. When we look at the results together, Alec tells us where we stand and what the added value on the website has done for us. We’ve almost doubled our organic leads and our CTRs [click through rates] because of WebpageFX’s efforts.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They have an open calendar that allows me to see their monthly progress, and if there’s anything I need to add, I’m able to email Alec so he can plan for it. They provide a transparent relationship, and always make sure I’m up to date on their work. I feel like I’m an employee of WebpageFX. They are also very responsive, which is really refreshing.

Alec makes sure to give me every detail of what they’re working on. It’s amazing the amount of conversations I have with him, and he’s great at quickly responding to emails. There’s no second-guessing because he makes sure to inform me before I even have to ask.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our previous SEO specialist was a horrible communicator, and would wait days before responding to me. I was very frustrated with that relationship, but with WebpageFX, I receive an almost instantaneous response. Their ability to communicate with me is extremely impressive, as well as being able to see exactly what they’re working on at all times. They check in with me so regularly that I never have to worry about reaching out to them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could do better. They’re so good at their work.

""They take pride in their work while remaining flexible, which is refreshing."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the marketing director for a Four Diamond hotel and full-service casino.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Most recently, we desperately needed a website redesign but couldn't afford one.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

WebpageFX has done multiple site redesigns for us over the years. We did a website refresh with them this past year. We shared our budget concerns with them, hashed through some ideas, and they suggested doing a reskin of the website to make it look new and fresh.

They worked with our creative team in Vegas to align the new look with our branding and keep our creative material consistent across all platforms.

They have also customized our website and programmed it according to our needs. They worked with a relatively old design because a whole redesign hasn’t been an option. We don't have a full WordPress site, though we’d like to in the future, but they made use of what we have.

They fully integrated a CMS [content management system] that we use to update our entire site. They've been able to tweak and expand it as our company and demand have changed. They also custom-coded an important My Account section for our customers. It's not real-time, but we update it on a daily basis. Users can see details of their play in the casino from the previous day.

They do long-form content and other extensive SEO [search engine optimization] projects for us, as well as PPC [pay-per-click] and online marketing. We use them for every service they offer.

What is the team dynamic?

Bill [President/Co-Founder, WebpageFX] and Karie [COO/Co-Founder, WebpageFX] came down and met with us. We mostly work with them, as well as a couple of other team members. Xander [Senior Internet Marketing Strategist, WebpageFX] is our project manager.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I did an extensive interview and bidding process with 10 companies. WebpageFX stood out from the others because they aren’t characterized by the typical dishonesty in their industry. I get daily sales calls for SEO, pay-per-click advertising, and web design, but they all want to resell me a software package they already created. WebpageFX was able to custom make what no one else could.

They went through with us exactly what we wanted and offered a much more cost-effective approach than their competitors.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in 2007 and continue to work with them.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before we started using them, our website visits weren’t even 100,000 per month. Now we're well above that. They make recommendations each year on how we can improve those.

Their reskin was just what we wanted and needed. We've also had a lot of growth in our new accounts section. Our customers are using it, and it's been extremely helpful for us; it's given us an edge over our local competition.

What I like about them is that they're always proposing new ideas, but they're not married to them. They don't get upset or refuse to do something we’ve requested. If we try something and it doesn’t work, they don't waste my time or money. They take pride in their work while remaining flexible, which is refreshing.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Our last big website redesign, in 2010, was the easiest project I’ve been involved with in my lifetime. It was so simple. I was expecting to have to manage everything and be in charge of all follow-up, but they handled it all. They made it simple and took responsibility for making sure everybody did what they were assigned. It was wonderful.

They've never had a problem working with our Vegas team, which is nice.

For normal, day-to-day project management, we have weekly meetings with Xander. He does a very good job at keeping me up-to-date on what's going on and where we are at.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their transparency and honesty, especially compared to other vendors I've worked with. I don’t feel like I'm being sold a bill of goods with no results to show.

When they give me the budget for the year, they break down how much I’ll spend in total, what I’ll pay them, and what I’ll be paying a third party. I’ve also asked for a break down at other times, and Xander’s told me clearly and succinctly, without misrepresenting anything. I’ve worked with a lot of agencies, and no one has ever done that.

They’ve never told us they couldn’t do something we asked for, with one exception, and in that case they referred us to someone who could.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve had conversations with them about the timeliness of their responses. A few times I’ve needed a response on a project a lot sooner than they provided it. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does, I call them, they address it, and they fix it. It’s usually been because they were inundated with projects all at once.

I appreciate that they’ve always acknowledged the issue and made changes accordingly.

""They don’t mind explaining things at our level of understanding when we have questions."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a marketing specialist for a Caterpillar dealership in Los Angeles. My job is to maintain all of the website edits.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

Our site had gone 11 years with no changes. We hadn’t corrected typos or changed contact information as employees left. We were looking for a complete redesign.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They came up with a couple of mockups for our team to look at. Once our management decided which one to go with, it was a pretty seamless process. We’re a unique industry, so I worked with the different departments at Quinn Company, getting pictures and content we needed laid out in Word and we sent it off to WebpageFX.

Their team prettied it up and filled in missing pictures we didn't have or couldn't source. There was a lot of back and forth at this point. They did everything we asked for. A few times they jumped in and said what they would or wouldn’t recommend and why. Those suggestions were very helpful in guiding us without making us feel that they hijacked the project. We were pretty adamant that we go with Wordpress. I had worked previously with Drupal and knew that it had some restrictions. They walked us through WordPress and gave us a cheat sheet with instructions. They showed us different features we could use on Wordpress.

What is the team dynamic?

We worked mostly with Brianna [Project Manager, WebpageFX] on the web design.  I've heard them throw out some other names, so other people were working on it, but I didn’t work directly with them.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

We worked with them previously to become an approved CAT web vendor. We interviewed a couple of other CAT vendors and decided to go with WebpageFX. We’ve done a few projects with them now and their responsiveness was always great. The output from their end was good, and so we stuck with them for the website redesign.

How much have you invested with them?

The redesign was around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We launched it in November 2016. We started the redesign in September of 2015. We have full control of it. Every once in a while, I have questions about how something works or if I want to try something new, so I go back to WebpageFX. It's fully launched and live, and our management loves the new look. We're currently retaining them for maintenance and SEO services.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It hasn't encouraged our employees to go look at the site more, but we have a long list of subscribers to our site’s newsletter. Our visits are up and our bounce rates are down. We're selling more of the used equipment that we feature, so I think it's doing well.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is great. Brianna was our point of contact during the redesign, so when I had questions for different departments at WebpageFX, she filtered them for us, got the information, and came back to us. We didn’t have to contact several different people. We used Basecamp and Google Docs. Google Docs was awesome. Now that they are doing SEO for us, our point of contact has changed.

First and foremost, they are very responsive. They are quick to respond to phone calls or emails and get back to us on any questions. They don’t mind explaining things at our level of understanding when we have questions or need to explain something to our management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their response time. They don't leave you wondering if they got your message. They're good at responding quickly to any questions we have, even if it's to say they’ll to get back to us. We had a great experience with them.

**The Review** — Oct 2, 2017

**Feedback Summary**: The long-term partnership and expansive scope of work is indicative of the strength of their collaboration, which has been instrumental in maintaining the site’s rankings over the years. They offer suggestions for improvements, provide timely input, and communicate well.
"“They are willing to go above and beyond what we originally agreed to do."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president and CEO for Book Haven Press LLC. We're a diversified publishing company that’s both print and web-based.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with WebpageFX?

We needed help keeping up with all the changes that Google implemented with the Hummingbird updates. The updates have the potential to change your position in the search results and we were noticing a drop in our search results. One of our sites has been online since 1994.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We mostly use them for SEO, but over the scope of work, they’ve become more of a partner in the sense that they do a lot more than just SEO. They optimized the design on our pages that attract more traffic and made the site more appealing for visitors. Anytime we have an issue with our WordPress blogs, they assist us. They do a lot of meta tagging for us on our new articles that our many writers produce. They check every one and make sure the meta tags match up to the content and are compatible with Google and Bing searches and all the others.

They make recommendations on changes that might be relevant and suggestions for other updates. They do the unification of the domains. They go into our various web-based accounts and optimize various them to make it more seamless. They work on the .htaccess files, and the sitemap XML. We now can’t do without them as they maintain our positioning and our results.

They also do a lot with analytics for us. That involves deep studies in Google Analytics and even in Google AdSense. They compare the two and they’ll work out inconsistencies. We had problems previously with erroneous sites coming in on our reports and they resolved that.

What is the team dynamic?

I started with one person and after he got promoted, I was passed to Joe [WebpageFX] who I’ve worked with for the last two years or more. They were both excellent, exceptional, and very dedicated. They have a great work ethic. If I have a problem, even on his day off, Joe will email me if I have an issue. He keeps track and makes sure things are done timely. If it’s urgent, like we’re losing a feed, they get up and get involved and are very helpful with resolving the problem.

How did you come to work with WebpageFX?

I contacted them based on a referral from another business associate, Career Pro Global, who is an integral partner with us as well. They were very satisfied with the results they had received.

How much have you invested with them?

Since our initial contract, maybe $25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together four or five years ago and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve been instrumental in maintaining our placement on the web and on keeping the sites clean, presentable, and mobile compatible. They’ve helped improve the search results with meta tags and their recommendations on how to configure. They determine what content is the most searched in our genre on the internet, primarily Google and Bing and others. Then they come back and tell us what content needs to be brought in or where we need to refocus or consolidate. From that perspective, they keep us focused on the best way to keep our traffic up and going. Without the traffic and site visits, our CPM [cost per thousand] would drop.

How did WebpageFX perform from a project management standpoint?

They were good. We talk about things that they could improve, whether its traffic or performance or site visitor experience and then they set up a tentative plan. We work together on it. We do the design in-house, but we usually format it based on their outline.

They have a project every month that focuses on a mutually agreed upon performance outcome. That helps us to focus our attention on where we think we’ll get the biggest bang for the buck, the most improvement, and the best experience for our visitors.

They have an online tool that gives us a spreadsheet of where they’re at with any given project, with past performance and numerous reports. They also send a monthly report summarizing everything. We have at least one major call a month where we talk about what’s been accomplished, new things that come up, and what’s projected for the next one to three-month period. We have longer-term targets too, for example, we’re looking at changing everything to https, which they’ll help us with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their contact and interaction are impressive. It’s a great service. They provide timely input. They help keep our revenue stream growing even amongst the very different genre websites we have. We’re very satisfied with them.

They are willing to go above and beyond what we originally agreed to do. If something is causing a problem in any of our web properties, they’ll step in to help if it’s affecting overall performance. They look for ways to improve efficiency in our operation. If one of the sites is decreasing in site visits and revenue and another one is increasing, they evaluate why and they talk to us about it. They’re intuitive and they work with us to improve efficiency.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their cost structure is reasonable. It is expensive, and we’re a small company, but I can’t fault them for their fee structure. The first-year contract was a lot more than what we pay on a monthly non-contract basis now.

I can’t think of anything else they can improve. They pretty much do everything we want.
