What challenge were you trying to address with Webential?

We needed to redo our website. We had inherited our original website and done a makeshift one to get us going. Still, we needed to build a new website from scratch so that it had the proper functionalities and information that we wanted it to have.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webential developed a new website for us. Their team was in charge of everything; they created, coded, and designed the layout and pages of our website from scratch. The only thing our team provided them with was the content and images. After providing the content to them, they worked with it to define the layout, format, and colors of the site.

As for the technology stack, I know that Webential used Figma for the designs. However, I don't know about the development technologies because they worked with my team directly to improve communication. My only involvement was to approve the content to ensure everything met our brand guidelines.

What is the team composition?

Initially, I had a brief conversation with Akshay (Founder & Digital Marketing Director). From there my main point of contact was an account manager. Although I don't know if that was her exact title, she was leading Webential's team. I'm sure that there was a big team working on this project, but the account manager was the only teammate I dealt with.

A friend of mine recommended them. Webential was working with him on his website, so when he recommended them, I looked into them to see if they could potentially help me do mine.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Having this website was just step one of our marketing strategy, so we don't have any metrics of success yet. Webential did a good job, and the website looked professional. Now, we plan to connect with them again to work on marketing campaigns, using our website to generate leads.

How did Webential perform from a project management standpoint?

Webential delivered on time, and any delays were on our end whenever we were unable to give them the content they needed. The team was very responsive and quick to reply whenever we needed a change. We communicated regularly via email, and they were constantly available whenever we wanted to set up a call.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I liked Webential's flexibility. They were easy to work with and had good communication.

It would have been good if Webential had provided more recommendations, given that they're definitely experienced.

Even when we threw some last-minute changes their way, they handled it with professionalism and a can-do attitude, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders.

While we had a great experience with Webentials, one area for improvement could be their attention to detail, specifically regarding typo errors and minor inconsistencies. There were a few instances where we noticed small typos or formatting issues that slipped through the cracks. 

I believe that more thorough proofreading or a dedicated quality assurance step before the final delivery could help catch these errors. It would elevate the professionalism of the site even further, especially since first impressions matter so much.

That said, their overall performance and the impact they had on our website were fantastic.
