I am the CEO of a global coupon & cashback website - Khojdeal.com We provide performance marketing solutions to global advertisers like Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, AliExpress and many more.

For what projects/services did your company hire webdew?

We were looking for an organisation who could help us build explainer videos to explain the concept of cashback. Since we didn't have any in-house expertise in this, we looked out to hire an expert who can implement their strategic skills and find a solution for us.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking to expand our reach to the global audience and 1 critical factor in that was to introduce the concept of cashback to them. Video is definitely the best channel of communication and we wanted to get an expert on board to deliver the message correctly.

We searched for different agencies who had experience in creating explainer videos. After talking to multiple agencies, we finalised webdew based on the work that they had done for other clients. We particularly loved the work they had done for Uber and we wanted to experience a similar quality of work for Khojdeal.

Once we decided that we are going ahead with Webdew, we started with discovery phase meetings. The idea was to explain our goals and objectives very clearly. We received a lot of genuine suggestions while we were in the discovery phase itself. It was amazing how an outsider could throw so much insights into our business. We finalised on creating a series of videos that would guide the user in different phases of the user journey.

What was the team composition?

I worked with 2 account managers from Webdew. I am not aware the structure of the delivery team. This ensured a hassle free coordination during the engagement.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since we started using these videos, our user engagement rate has grown by 48%. The videos help the users complete the journey with minimum friction points.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I would say it was a very smooth coordination during the course of this engagement. We were well informed over Skype regarding project updates and if need be, the project manager was available for a quick phone call.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As I mentioned above as well, I was impressed about the research they did for us even before starting the project. They had insights that even we couldnt see, being inside the business. Secondly, it was a hassle free communication during the entire engagement which is always appreciated.

We received a great quality output and I cant think of any areas of improvement for the engagement that we had.

For what projects/services did your company hire webdew?

We hired Webdew to create 6 isometric animated videos for our target audience based on certain pain points. Each video was anywhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes long. We created the storyboard and gave ideas of what we wanted the visuals to look like.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals for this project were to drive more awareness to Plannuh and create a simple way to connect with our audience. Also, we have launched these videos on LinkedIn Ads and are using them to generate new leads for our database as well.

They were recommended to me by a colleague of mine. As a start-up they also made it affordable enough where it was a no-brainer on whether or not to work with them.

After defining our target audience, messaging, duration, and goal of the videos we worked on the storyboard and submitted to Webdew with an idea of how we wanted the animation to go. After that, we reviewed the storyboards of the animation they had created and submitted our feedback and reviews. Next, we received the animation without the voiceover to see how the transitions looked. After the voice over was approved we received the final videos.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

Webdew was so great to work with! Not only did they work with us on the numerous changes that we later discovered, but they were also extremely available and communicative. Chehak was our POC for this project and she kept me in the loop for stages of the project and was also able to meet our very quick deadline to get these videos up and running. We will definitely be using them for future projects and have already praised them through word of mouth. Very impressed!

We are already generating leads through the videos and have been enjoyed both internally and externally.

They were able to meet our deadline for a very reasonable price. Also, the number of adjustments that needed to be made because we changed our mind quite a bit they were easily able to adjust to.

Only area of improvement is to have your Google meets reflect the time to book on your calendar!

To have an animated version of our current logo with movement, color and appropriate sound.

I chose her amongst many options because her reviews were really good and her sample works were exactly what we were looking for.

Chehak had to recreate the paint splatter pieces that make up our logo and have them rotate around the text that is in our logo. She added small mice features to add to the realistic and professional look of the animation interacting with our logo. She also went through multiple different sound options with us until we were pleased.

Chehak was our only designer but she was working on making a marketing team of 3 happy with the design.

We will be using the logo created by webdew in all of our future digital and print assets. Our first use was at a big client meeting which went well!

Very effective, she was quick at communicating and patient with our responses.

She worked quickly and effectively and made all the appropriate changes.

The sound we needed from the animation was the biggest issue but we were able to resolve it with constant communication.

They provided 2 person & one animator for the work, we worked together throughout the planning stages of the video, after making the videos we received many rough drafts which we were able to offer feedback.

The video was to explain our product in an easy to follow, eye-catchy manner. The animation had to look professionally done and well made for the users and customers of our product.

We'd posted our requirement on a portal for freelancers/agencies. From about 15+ competitive bids - in terms of pricing and quality of past work, we narrowed down to a few, and on subsequent discussion and understanding displayed by them, chose to go with Webdew.

Once we finalised on Webdew, we explained about our company, our product, and what we wanted to achieve out of the explainer video. We had a script from earlier that required some modifications. Webdew got back to us with storyboards and worked on a few revisions as per the feedback.

Once the storyboard was done, they helped choose an audio, as well as made a logo animation for us. There were a few iterations in the final video that they patiently got back to us with.

We had a single point contact with Webdew who was pro-active in understanding our requirements and working on incorporating our feedback. She was available through the period for the feedback.

The workflow was smooth - we didn't have to rely on any external project management tool but in general, they were available and sticking to the intermediate deadlines and milestones from their end as much as possible.

At times the feedback could've been implemented a bit more creatively instead of following 'exactly' to the letter.

Even their first draft exceeded our expectations by a huge amount. They got most of the idea and what we wanted in that first draft. They were very creative.
