WebCap Digitals

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the former digital marketing manager and website architect for LORD Corporation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with WebCap Digitals LLC?

We needed help with our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did a lot of varying work for us which included new web designs and site stability. We also worked with a team of Drupal CMS experts who helped us troubleshoot issues and build new features like interactive components and learning modules.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a team of at least three people. There was one senior designer, Anton (Co-Founder, CEO) who did a lot of project management for us, and there was a third person who also did project management and development for us.

How did you come to work with WebCap Digitals LLC?

We found them through Upwork.

How much have you invested with them?

In the time that I worked with them, we invested between $200,000–$300,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in 2014. I no longer work with them directly, but I believe that the partnership with WebCap Digitals LLC is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw engagement metrics go up, and site sessions increase. People were reaching their desired actions and desired information faster, and the page load times improved dramatically. We experienced a 100% increase in site sessions and visits, and a 50%–60% improvement in page load time.

We also saw increased lead generation as a result of an improved website and better-performing content.

How did WebCap Digitals LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They were incredibly organized and communicative with us, even though the engagement was remote. We communicated via Upwork, Slack, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They created well-written and well-performing websites for us, and they were a really great value for what we paid.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing they could have improved on for us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a regular meeting cadence in order, and set up milestones in advance. Make sure to get regular updates on progress because that's important for working remotely. Break the payments up and make it a quarterly or milestone-based payment plan.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We engaged WebCap to design and develop a complete digital solution that would support our internal operations and client-facing services across both web and mobile platforms. The project scope included web design, full-stack web development, mobile app development, and CMS integration.

We tasked WebCap with creating a responsive web application for our team and clients, building a robust backend infrastructure, and developing a mobile app that would mirror core web functionalities for field use. Additionally, we needed a marketing website where potential clients could learn more about our offerings and get in touch easily.

WebCap started by helping us define user flows and translating them into clean, intuitive UI/UX designs. They then developed a backend system using Laravel and PHP, with a SQL database to handle user data, content, and workflow logic. On the frontend, they delivered a Vue.js admin dashboard and a React-based client portal, both using TypeScript to ensure scalable and maintainable code.

For mobile, they built a React Native app that syncs in real time with the web platform, allowing users to access and input data from their phones, even in offline scenarios. Lastly, they developed a custom WordPress CMS site for marketing purposes, which our team now uses to manage content and inquiries easily.

Key deliverables included:

• UX/UI design for web and mobile interfaces
Laravel/PHP backend with secure API architecture
Vue.js admin dashboard for internal operations
• React front-end portal for client interactions
• React Native mobile app for iOS and Android
• Custom WordPress CMS marketing site
• QA testing and support during deployment

WebCap handled the full scope with a strong focus on performance, usability, and clean architecture, and they worked closely with our team throughout the entire process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered several measurable outcomes that clearly demonstrated both progress and success. One of the most significant results was the successful launch of our digital platform across web and mobile, which allowed us to streamline key internal operations and improve client-facing services.

After launching the web platform developed by WebCap, we saw a 40% reduction in manual processing time thanks to the automation features and improved UI/UX. The admin dashboard enabled our internal team to manage workflows more efficiently, while the client portal significantly reduced the volume of back-and-forth communication by offering real-time access to project data and status updates.

The React Native mobile app played a major role in enhancing field operations. Within the first three months of launch, over 70% of our mobile workforce adopted the app, which led to faster data entry, fewer errors, and improved communication between teams in the field and at headquarters.

Our marketing site, built on WordPress, also helped increase our lead generation. We tracked a 25% increase in form submissions in the first two months post-launch, largely due to better content layout, mobile optimization, and clear CTAs.

Overall, the success of this project with WebCap has had a direct and measurable impact on our operational efficiency, user engagement, and business growth.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

WebCap’s project management was highly structured, transparent, and responsive throughout the entire engagement. They followed an agile methodology, breaking the work into clear sprints with weekly check-ins and demo sessions, which helped keep the project on track and ensured we had full visibility into progress at all times.

They consistently delivered milestones on time, often ahead of schedule, and were proactive in identifying potential blockers early so we could address them before they became issues. All deliverables were presented in a timely and organized manner, with clear documentation and staging environments for review.

What stood out most was their responsiveness to our needs. Whether it was a quick design adjustment, a last-minute feature request, or clarifying technical details, their team was always accessible and quick to respond. They maintained open communication through Slack and video calls, and they adapted seamlessly when our internal priorities shifted mid-project.

Overall, WebCap was not only reliable and deadline-oriented but also flexible and collaborative, which made working with them feel like a true partnership.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most about WebCap was their rare combination of deep technical expertise and genuine business understanding. They didn’t just execute tasks, they took the time to fully understand our goals, user needs, and operational challenges before proposing solutions. This strategic mindset added tremendous value to the project.

Their versatility across technologies was also a major strength. Whether it was Laravel for backend, React and Vue for frontend, or React Native for mobile, their team handled each part of the stack with confidence and precision, which helped us avoid the complexity of managing multiple vendors.

Lastly, their communication style stood out. They were clear, honest, and highly responsive at every stage. It always felt like they were part of our internal team rather than an external agency, and that level of collaboration made a real difference in the success of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something WebCap Digitals could have done differently?

Overall, our experience with WebCap was very positive, and they delivered high-quality results across the board. If there’s one area for potential improvement, it would be around initial project documentation. While the team was highly communicative and quick to align during calls, having more detailed technical documentation and feature specs from the very beginning could have helped streamline some early development decisions.

That said, once the project was underway, they quickly adapted and implemented a more structured documentation process. It’s clear they’re committed to continuous improvement, and they were receptive to our feedback throughout the engagement.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Webcap was given the task to build a platform where shippers, business and consumers, can fill in their transport order with all the necessary information for transporters. With this detailed order Moaver will search for the ideal transport company who can fulfill this order and ask them for a quotation. Transport companies can register at Moaver and make a profile with a six-steps registration-form.

The website has 4 pages: Homepage, for-shippers-page, for-transporters-page and the about-us-page. Webcap has developed the brand book, style of website and logo as well.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We didn't officially started with the website yet, so there are no measurable outcomes that demonstrates progress or succes yet.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They sticked to the agreed deadline with the main scope perfectly. However, obviously we needed to change our strategy a couple of times, what caused extra development time. Nevertheless, The owner and project manager responded very professional and friendly when I asked them to change some strategies and developments and they have put all the effort in it to understand which way I wanted to go.

At the moment we started with the project, I had my doubts about the communication. I was afraid we wouldn't understand each other, because of the languages and Eastern Europe dialects combined with the virtual meetings, but they surprised me positively.

Easy communication, price competitive, full stack developers available part-time as part of the team.

There have been so many steps that would be hard to detail here. Technolgoies: PHP, Laravel, Zapier, Quality Assurance, project management, backlog creation, documentation, etc etc.

Probably about a dozen. There's been system admins, developers, coders, architects, project managers, etc.

BACKGROUND

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire WebCap Digitals LLC, and what were your goals?

I need a site as a channel for renting houses, as well as for remote property management.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

These were the recommendations of WebCap from my friends as a reliable and competent partner capable of solving my problems.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

It was necessary to create a website consisting of two sections: real estate rental and property management. The work included all stages: the creation of technical specifications for the functionality of the site, page design, site management module: administrator pages, databases, etc. Launching the site on the host, development and support.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Basically 3 people:

• project manager
• CEO
• technical director

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still in the works, so there is no success story in numbers, but I like what it turns out.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicate with the project manager almost every day, sometimes several times a day. We divide the work into stages. For each stage, we discuss the timing, goals and details. We mainly use e-mail. WhatsApp is for urgent short questions. Company server for tests. We communicate by e-mail with the CEO about once a month, on financial and general organizational issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have high-level customer support. In the process of creating the site, I expressed several times atypical wishes and suggestions for functionality and never received an answer that the company cannot do this or that they don’t do it. We have always found a way to implement non-standard functionality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the first months of our interaction, there were cases when the company released a release that was not fully tested according to the user scenario. For example, new or fixed functionality worked, but related functions stopped working and sites still could not be used. But I must say that such cases have not occurred over the past year.
