We engaged WebCap to design and develop a complete digital solution that would support our internal operations and client-facing services across both web and mobile platforms. The project scope included web design, full-stack web development, mobile app development, and CMS integration.

We tasked WebCap with creating a responsive web application for our team and clients, building a robust backend infrastructure, and developing a mobile app that would mirror core web functionalities for field use. Additionally, we needed a marketing website where potential clients could learn more about our offerings and get in touch easily.

WebCap started by helping us define user flows and translating them into clean, intuitive UI/UX designs. They then developed a backend system using Laravel and PHP, with a SQL database to handle user data, content, and workflow logic. On the frontend, they delivered a Vue.js admin dashboard and a React-based client portal, both using TypeScript to ensure scalable and maintainable code.

For mobile, they built a React Native app that syncs in real time with the web platform, allowing users to access and input data from their phones, even in offline scenarios. Lastly, they developed a custom WordPress CMS site for marketing purposes, which our team now uses to manage content and inquiries easily.

After launching the web platform developed by WebCap, we saw a 40% reduction in manual processing time thanks to the automation features and improved UI/UX. While the team was highly communicative and quick to align during calls, having more detailed technical documentation and feature specs from the very beginning could have helped streamline some early development decisions.

That said, once the project was underway, they quickly adapted and implemented a more structured documentation process. It’s clear they’re committed to continuous improvement, and they were receptive to our feedback throughout the engagement.

Webcap was given the task to build a platform where shippers, business and consumers, can fill in their transport order with all the necessary information for transporters. With this detailed order Moaver will search for the ideal transport company who can fulfill this order and ask them for a quotation. Transport companies can register at Moaver and make a profile with a six-steps registration-form.

The website has 4 pages: Homepage, for-shippers-page, for-transporters-page and the about-us-page. Webcap has developed the brand book, style of website and logo as well.

We didn't officially started with the website yet, so there are no measurable outcomes that demonstrates progress or succes yet.

They sticked to the agreed deadline with the main scope perfectly. However, obviously we needed to change our strategy a couple of times, what caused extra development time. Nevertheless, The owner and project manager responded very professional and friendly when I asked them to change some strategies and developments and they have put all the effort in it to understand which way I wanted to go.

At the moment we started with the project, I had my doubts about the communication. I was afraid we wouldn't understand each other, because of the languages and Eastern Europe dialects combined with the virtual meetings, but they surprised me positively.

There have been so many steps that would be hard to detail here. Technolgoies: PHP, Laravel, Zapier, Quality Assurance, project management, backlog creation, documentation, etc etc.

Probably about a dozen. There's been system admins, developers, coders, architects, project managers, etc.

We have a project manager assigned to us. She's extremely efficient and timeline communication. We also have a quick weekly update meeting. They are very good in English, both written and spoken.

It was necessary to create a website consisting of two sections: real estate rental and property management. The work included all stages: the creation of technical specifications for the functionality of the site, page design, site management module: administrator pages, databases, etc. Launching the site on the host, development and support.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project is still in the works, so there is no success story in numbers, but I like what it turns out.

We communicate with the project manager almost every day, sometimes several times a day. We divide the work into stages. For each stage, we discuss the timing, goals and details. We mainly use e-mail. WhatsApp is for urgent short questions. Company server for tests. We communicate by e-mail with the CEO about once a month, on financial and general organizational issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have high-level customer support. In the process of creating the site, I expressed several times atypical wishes and suggestions for functionality and never received an answer that the company cannot do this or that they don’t do it. We have always found a way to implement non-standard functionality.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the first months of our interaction, there were cases when the company released a release that was not fully tested according to the user scenario. For example, new or fixed functionality worked, but related functions stopped working and sites still could not be used. But I must say that such cases have not occurred over the past year.
