#### Web Design for Independent Community Bank

**The Review** — May 24, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: Wakefly, Inc. has launched both websites, and the client has been extremely satisfied. The sites are user-friendly and have given the client flexibility to make changes independently. The Wakefly, Inc. team was willing to take on challenges, was professional, and had a high level of expertise.
""Wakefly, Inc. is friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the first VP and director of digital marketing for an independent community bank.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?          We needed someone to do a website redesign of both of our websites. We had a website for our brick-and-mortar bank and our online-only bank. Both websites were on an older version of Kentico, and we needed a company with the expertise to migrate to the new Kentico Experience 13.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? They redesigned both of our websites using Kentico Experience 13, and they provide ongoing security monitoring for the website as well. Wakefly, Inc. conducts monthly health checks on the website. What is the team composition? There was a project management team, and we always had at least three dedicated people on the phone calls that we could rely on or get in touch with. Their CEO also popped in on calls occasionally, which was really awesome. How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?We did some research on companies that had a great reputation for working with Kentico Experience 13. Wakefly, Inc., was one of the top ones we came across. On Kentico’s website, they even list Wakefly, Inc. as a preferred partner. How much have you invested with them?We spent around $250,000. We have a monthly agreement with them as well. What is the status of this engagement? We worked together between June–August 2022. However, we keep Wakefly, Inc. on a retainer, so we consider the overall work ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? They’ve been a wonderful help to us even after the website redesign for our brick-and-mortar site was completed in August 2022. Overall, we’ve been very satisfied with the websites. They were built with a level of flexibility that we’ve never experienced before. We’ve made a whole host of changes on our own which is amazing because we don’t have to tap into our retainer. Wakefly, Inc. built these websites in a way that makes it easy for us to make robust changes on our side. How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint? They’re very responsive. We have a resource to put in tickets and get a quick reply. We use Zoom and email. During the website development, we had weekly calls on Zoom. What did you find most impressive about them? They’re flexible and never give us a hard time if we had a last-minute change. They’re very agreeable, easy to work with, and they meet deadlines. Wakefly, Inc. was very knowledgeable. We understand why they’re touted as Kentico Experience 13 experts because they know the platform like the back of their hand. When mistakes do come up, they take complete ownership. Wakefly, Inc. is friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Are there any areas they could improve? It can be confusing that we have so many people who are our points of contact. We do have a solid project manager, but there have been times it’s a little confusing around precisely which of those three people we should escalate issues to. Do you have any advice for potential customers?Trust them to do what they’re experts at. They do a great job of listening to exactly what the client wants, but ultimately, the designs they come up with were their own. There were things we never could have come up with on our own. Don’t be afraid to let them know you want something different because that’s what we did, and they've been up to the challenge.

CMO, Credit Union Company

- Client size: 51-200 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Mar 29, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Wakefly, Inc. has performed well throughout three years of engagement. They stand out for their expertise, which reflects on their abilities. They communicate regularly through conference calls, provide updates, and are responsive.
""They work with a variety of financial institutions and understand the unique challenges we face in this industry.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CMO for a credit union company that serves the five counties around Philadelphia.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

We were looking to improve our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Wakefly, Inc. supports our website programming and helps us with security and digital advertising. They don’t do the cost or content; they just monitor performance. Also, they’ve done some things for our website redesign and incorporated more opportunities for engagement.

We meet every two weeks to discuss what we’re looking for. Then, they use that to build an audience for our advertising. Finally, we decide whether we want to adjust it based on their monitoring.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with several people. Right now, we’re working with a paid media strategist, a senior project manager, and a client manager.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

We sent out an RFP to 7–8 companies and selected them out of that process. We were looking for somebody that could handle the CMS that we used because our site was already on it.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent $36,000 for paid media and $150,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2019. They’re on a retainer, so it’s an ongoing process.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

No, we don’t have anything. We’re short-staffed right now, so we can’t think ahead.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a meeting every two weeks through a conference call. Overall, they’ve been great at responding when we have issues and informing us about what’s going on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work with a variety of financial institutions and understand the unique challenges we face in this industry.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We need them to be more proactive and suggest what we should be doing or trends they see in the industry. Since our staff is small, we don’t have time to keep up on those issues.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Meet regularly with them, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. In general, push them to come up with the best solution.

**Feedback Summary**: The client has seen excellent results with their new site, including 550,000 visitors since launch, 25% new visitors per month, 25% less bounce rate, and an increased user time on site. Wakefly, Inc.’s creativity and project management skills were noteworthy throughout the project.
"“Wakefly had a very strong and robust project management process.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP of marketing for a statewide oncology practice based in Florida.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

We were looking to upgrade and redo our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Wakefly made a full discovery assessment of our current site and looked for recommendations on how we could enhance and evolve its functionality. Then, they developed a new WordPress site from scratch per our request so that it would be easier for us to make changes and update it in the future without the need of developers and designers.

What is the team composition?

We had a main project manager and two different account managers involved in our weekly communications.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

We launched an RFP to which many companies replied. Wakefly ultimately won the project assignment.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together towards the Q4 of 2020, and we launched the site in August 2021. Although we don’t work with them on a daily basis anymore because the project is complete, we’ve kept them on a safety retainer.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we launched the site, we’ve had 550,000 visitors, and we’ve had over 25% more visitors per month than we had with our previous site. Our page sessions have also gone up, and many people are spending more time per page, averaging a 6–8-minute time on site. Additionally, our bounce rate is now 25% less than before. Overall, those are great metrics; everything is trending upward, reaching our desired results.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Wakefly had a very strong and robust project management process. They always strived to keep us on track with the timeline and helped us troubleshoot any problem. Throughout the project, we had some unique challenges regarding some pieces of data related to the old functionality. However, they were very patient and very good at working with us to navigate through those scenarios.

We used Google Docs and Sheets to manage the project timelines and milestones. Additionally, we had Google Meet meetings weekly, and we exchanged emails throughout the project as needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Wakefly’s creativity was strong, and their creative director and creative team members were impressive; I wish I had had more of those resources throughout the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very clear from start to finish about your requirements, including those involved in launching the site. We would have liked to better understand what the final product launch would be like and what the end of our relationship would be like, but it wasn't their fault.

We needed help with website development.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Throughout many years, Wakefly has provided web development services and maintenance for our website. When they initially joined, we already had an almost complete website, but they made a lot of changes, including implementing a completely new appearance to the landing page seamlessly. Their involvement has also included creating blackout home pages, making changes to the CMS, implementing pop-up overlays, improving the navigation, and creating a password login process.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with Mark (Senior Project Manager), John (Customer Success Manager), and Sarah Smith (Project Manager). Additionally, they’ve brought in web developers as needed.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

My predecessor hired Wakefly, whom she found doing research.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around November 2013, and our engagement is ongoing. We’ve had a good working relationship.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although the website that Wakefly helped us develop and update throughout the years is now gone, we constantly saw a steadily increasing number of visitors. In 2019, we reached over a million views on our home page. Overall, they’ve exceeded our expectations, and we’re 100% satisfied with their work.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Wakefly’s project management is excellent. We communicate via phone calls, emails, and Zoom meetings. They’re very communicative and open, and they always keep us updated and aware of delays.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Wakefly has done more than what we asked for, and they’ve always been extremely responsive. They also offer incredibly fast turnaround times and respond to our requests within hours. Additionally, they deliver great work and give us amazing recommendations. Overall, they’re very pleasurable and personable to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing that Wakefly could do better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Get in touch with Wakefly and talk to them in person. They’re very personable and relationship-oriented.

**The Review** — Jan 11, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Wakefly, Inc. took full ownership of the project that resulted in the company's continued growth and ability to extend their reach to customers. The internal stakeholders were particularly impressed with the team's proactive and receptive approach to project management.
""They worked so well as a cohesive team because I never had to worry about the progress of the project.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the corporate communications manager for Fortune Brands Home & Security.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

We needed someone to design, develop, and host our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Wakefly, Inc. provided us with web hosting, design, and development. We started the project by having a conversation about our scope and requirements before going to the actual design and development processes.

They used WordPress as their main development platform and worked very closely with our team and creative director to mark up the site. They also implemented several technical plugins and set up our Google Analytics dashboard before officially launching.

What is the team composition?

We worked with John (Customer Success Manager), Sandy (Senior Project Manager), Tim (Creative Director & Partner).

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

Our relationship with Wakefly, Inc. preceded this project and my time at Fortune Brands, but we decided to stay with them when we were evaluating different options for vendors because we thought they were the best provider for us moving forward.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent approximately $100,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–October 2021.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

While I don’t have any metrics to share, Wakefly, Inc. worked really hard to help us customize our site to tell our story, brand, and culture. There are a lot of custom features that impact our organization on the site, including a career search map that’s both beautiful and highly technical.

They’ve expanded our ability to show the world who we are and made it easier for people to find us.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Sandy worked incredibly well to keep us and the Wakefly, Inc. team on schedule. We were on a very tight timeline and if it wasn’t for her attention to detail and professionalism, this project wouldn’t have gone smoothly as it did.

We primarily communicated through Zoom, email, and Google Chat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We liked that they worked so well as a cohesive team because I never had to worry about the progress of the project. They kept us updated and worked through every issue throughout the partnership.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It took some time to align our scope with their technical department, and there were issues earlier in the process that could’ve been handled better but other than that, they did a phenomenal job overall.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

For any web development project, I would advise planning in advance and being more prepared so you can go the distance sooner.

**The Review** — Jun 16, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: Thanks to Wakefly, Inc.’s work, leads have increased significantly year over year. The team is experienced with Kentico and has been able to provide valuable suggestions throughout the engagement. Through productive weekly meetings, they’re easy to communicate with.
"“They’re very accommodating, so we throw a lot of things at them. They always handle it very well.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for a company that makes video safety and telematics solutions for commercial fleets. It’s a dash cam for commercial vehicles that plugs into the engine control module and ultimately records video to help coach and train drivers to be safer. I’m a digital marketing manager.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

We've always kept a development partner because we don’t have those skills in-house, so we keep Wakefly, Inc. on retainer. They’re responsible for all the backend and frontend code on our website, which allows me as a website admin to do other CMS-level tasks on my own. They're key to solving our business challenge of increasing the number of marketing qualified leads from our website.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Projects range from something as simple as updating modules on a page, to more complex as redeploying content to our servers. They do a wide range of things to help us convert leads on our site, like improving site speed and improving the usability of the CMS for us.

In the last year, they helped us relaunch our website. It was a big project and we provided the design and they implemented it.

What is the team composition?

I work with Nick (Project Manager) and Jackie (Customer Success Manager) to strategize and prioritize website projects. At any given time, we have 1–2 dedicated developers on our project and will spread out the work to a third developer if needed.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

We were working with another development agency that was inconsistent and slow. It was important that we find an agency that is gold-certified in Kentico. We did a little bit of research before coming across Wakefly, Inc.

How much have you invested with them?

We just signed our third retainer renewal for $60,000. We definitely added some in our gap retainers, so we’ve probably spent about $260,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2017 and we continue to work with them.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped relaunch a site that would attract more MQLs and make it easier for them to convert. Year over year, we had a 55% increase in web form completion. Ultimately, that means 55% more leads in our pipeline, so that’s big news.

Anecdotally, we don’t send a lot of things back to them to be redone. Once they develop something, we don’t usually see a lot of problems with it. With other partners in the past, we’ve had to go through multiple rounds of edits. A large part of it has to do with the expertise on their team. They’re very accommodating, so we throw a lot of things at them. They always handle it very well.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Redmine is the project management tool that they use. I can submit any development tickets and they’re good about catching everything. They touch a bit of everything every day. The communication is frequent and effective. They have a project manager and an account rep, and it’s easy for me to communicate with both of them so everyone is on the same page. We are clearly represented by a really good team from Wakefly, Inc. We have weekly calls, they’re super organized,  and we go through everything that’s outstanding in their project management system. They accept any new project requests then as well, so those calls are very productive. Our project manager is always willing to make suggestions that will make the project easier. They always have productivity and efficiency in mind.

We also worked with a third-party creative agency for our redesign, and Wakefly, Inc. handled that in stride

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expertise with Kentico. They’re always in the know about necessary updates and are on top of anything related to our CMS.

I’ve also worked with other companies where the project manager hasn’t understood all of the technology behind a website. However, our account managers at Wakefly, Inc. have both been very knowledgeable and acted as a great first-resource when we have questions. Sometimes we don’t need to work with a developer directly because our account manager can walk me through the process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

That’s a hard question because I don’t have a lot of negative feedback. There was a brief period when they weren’t developing as quickly as we liked because of their developer bandwidth. I had to proactively go to them to figure out these timing issues. So, I guess you could say they could be more proactive when it comes to communicating negative things.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Set ground rules early about how you want to communicate and how often.

For what projects/services did your company hire Wakefly, Inc.?

We hired Wakefly to help us redesign our website. It was outdated and needed a complete refresh and redesign, which is exactly what the entire team at Wakefly helped us achieve.

We selected this vendor through a series of interviews. We contacted other web design companies, as well as their references, however Wakefly was the clear winner. They are close to us geographically, which made us feel good to know if something wasn't being explained to our/their satisfaction over the phone, we could schedule an in person meeting with minimal to no inconvenience. The price Wakefly charged was also something we could work into our budget. Their references providing phenomenal feedback about their team, as well as their work. **The Review** — Nov 27, 2019

**Feedback Summary**: Higher form completion rates and increased buy-in from top stakeholders have made for a fruitful engagement. Wakefly, Inc. leverages a wealth of expertise, coupled with a collaborative approach, to fulfill each requirement. Customers can expect flexibility and dedication.
""He has set such a high standard and functions like an internal employee."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of strategic market support for Ottawa University. We are a private, four-year university for liberal arts studies, and we’re headquartered just outside of Ottawa, Kansas. We have additional campuses in Milwaukee, Louisville, Kansas City, and Phoenix. My responsibilities include restructuring and revamping our website as needed.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

I inherited the webmaster duties about five years ago, and the previous webmaster had made the decision to implement Kentico software because of how comprehensive it was. I brought on Wakefly because I felt that we weren’t getting the full usage out of it.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve been using Wakefly for various development projects over the years. I’m hoping to start using them for content marketing, SEO, and other related services if I can get approval from our CMO.

What is the team composition?

Mark (Web Project Manager, Wakefly, Inc.) has been working on our account for the last ten years, and Greg (Web Developer, Wakefly, Inc.) is our leading developer. I’ve spoken with a few other developers about specific features and projects.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

The previous webmaster came across Wakefly while looking for firms that were familiar with Kentico. That set them apart from most of the other providers that we knew of in our area. Finding a team that understood Kentico was our main priority at the time because we had just purchased it.

How much have you invested in them?

We’re currently paying a $4,000 per month retainer fee, and we’ve been doing that for the past three years. Before that, we were spending about $3,000 per month. We started out pricing everything based on one-off projects, but by the second year, we’d set up a payment schedule for maintenance activities, and that turned into a retainer contract during the third year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been working with them since 2009, and the relationship is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There was a situation where an agency we hired didn’t pan out, and Mark was able to bail us out. We handed him a set of designs through our maintenance contract, and he completely redid our site without charging us for a separate project. We’ve also seen higher form completion rates year over year. This past year, we jumped from 20% to 25%.

I think the synergy that comes from our leadership team knowing that the website is designed well—and that we are getting more out of it from a business point of view as far as maximizing the number of inquiries—is exciting. I’m excited about it because we’ve never had a coordinated approach; our digital strategy used to be fragmented among different companies.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

I feel spoiled because Mark gets back to me so quickly. I don’t know that I could work with anyone else at this point. He has set such a high standard and functions like an internal employee.

Mark knows our account so well that he can handle the day to day tasks on his own. He’s been working on the account longer than most of our team members have. He and Greg bring in other programmers on occasion, but they’re my main points of contact.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate the fact that Wakefly brings experience from other industries to the table. I also like how receptive they’ve been to the idea of taking on our digital marketing efforts.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. They’ve done everything that we’ve asked them to do. I’m sure they’ve been frustrated with us at times because of how our internal struggles have hindered them. I do foresee that changing soon, with us moving towards a point where they'll be doing more work for us, which is what they want.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The key to having a good relationship is to maintain open communication with your point person. Make sure that you’re comfortable with whoever is managing the project because they’re the one that you’ll have to go to when you’re dealing with issues.

The update our Kentico software and rebrand our templates and look of the site

**SOLUTION**

Wakelfy helped immensely with the graphics, template architecture, training, and ongoing support of our website. They also recomended an outside resource for help in content creation.

What was the team composition?

The team consists of an account manager, a project leader, a digital marketing strategist, a design strategist, and SEO strategist.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We launched our new site in June 2019, and engaged in PPC and LinkedIn advertising in September. we already have twice the amount of qualified leads compared to our old site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We met in person a few times at the onset of the project and then had weekly calls throughout the duration and well into post-launch. We continually hold bi-monthly sync calls. This proved to be very effective in communication and keeping us all on track

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Wakefly, Inc. teams was and continues to be very responsive and helpful with very little lead time.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The one area that was sometimes challenging was the assumption that the Sunrise team had a better knowledge of website backend then they have and that led to some double efforts to redo mistakes and bugs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our campaigns have mainly performed well, with the search terms complementing some product verticals where we haven't really pushed heavily before. We have one underperforming campaign, and we're working to identify ways to fix it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have generally communicated via email (which has worked well) and a monthly check-in call. Met all my expectations (given that I know I'm a small-ish account)

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Strong approach from the get-go, and a cost structure which really worked well for our needs as we switched vendors.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We have one underperforming campaign, but I can't think of any way we'd have approached it differently to this point. I have no concrete "this should have been better" thoughts at this time.

**Feedback Summary**: The website draws internal and external praise for its user-friendly and attractive design. Wakefly, Inc delivers high-quality development as well as advice informed by their expertise. They consistently follow up with diligence and patience, enabling a smooth collaboration.
""They just do a great job keeping our website up-to-date and professional-looking."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Thrive Support & Advocacy empowers children and adults with developmental disabilities to lead rich, active and self-directed lives. We offer services and social, recreational and educational experiences for participants and their families. My position is communications specialist for the organization.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

We originally hired Wakefly, Inc. to design and implement our website as part of our rebranding project. Since then, we’ve done several different projects with them.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Wakefly, Inc. built our original website in WordPress about two and a half years ago. We’ve worked with them to add new pages, implement SEO, and create a more user-friendly interface for the site’s frontend.

When updating the frontend, we set up a collaboration with Wakefly, Inc.’s technical people and project manager. They gave us ideas on creating a layout that’s both visually attractive and user friendly. For example, Wakefly, Inc. helped us build a carousel photo feature on the front page that allows users to access information about related events with just a click.

Wakefly, Inc has also shared their expertise in other areas of marketing. In addition to SEO and design for our website, they suggest ways to improve content and post scheduling on social media platforms. Following their suggestions, we have increased our social media reach on all platforms.

What is the team composition?

The primary point of contact for our organization is our Wakefly project manager. We have a weekly call, where I speak with our Wakefly team made up of a project manager, social media/SEO person, programming person, and marketing person. Having that expertise on the phone with us every week ensures that we are all on the same page and are putting forth cohesive content, branding, and messaging.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

Wakefly, Inc. built the website for Thrive Support & Advocacy pro bono before I joined the organization. We learned about Wakefly, Inc. through our local chamber of commerce.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $50,000–$200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The relationship started before I began my role at Thrive Support & Advocacy—which was April 2017—and is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When corporate partners and like-minded organizations look at our website, they are amazed at the professional look and feel of our website for such a small organization. As far as the impact on a statistical level, Wakefly runs performance reports on a monthly basis. This allows us to see firsthand that the work we are doing is having an impact. These reports have been an important tool for us to use within the organization and with our Board of Directors. In just the past year our organic users visiting the site increased by 34% because of the work we have been doing.

For me personally, working with Wakefly, Inc. has been very educational. Designing and maintaining a website is new to me, and their team has been patient in teaching me what I need to know. The Wakefly team is also highly supportive of our mission and do a great job conveying that mission through our website.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

The management of our various projects has been seamless. The main reason for that is both, the coordination by our project manager, and our weekly “touch base” calls. Those calls are used to review tasks completed and discuss the coordination and implementation of future goals. To ensure that the website is always current and performing well, we continually look forward three months in setting and initiating new goals.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their consistency, quality of work, and communication are what stand out the most about our relationship with Wakefly, Inc.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. We're in a good place. I have a sound support system; Wakefly, Inc. follows up reliably to make sure I do what I need to do.

Any advice for potential customers?

When we start a new project, everything’s in writing: requirements, timeline, goals, and more. That way we’re always on the same page in terms of our expectations. We regularly look back on this document throughout the project.

**Feedback Summary**: The new site has increased lead generation by 235% in its first week since launch, along with increases in conversion rate and mobile traffic. Wakefly has received positive customer feedback for their work, with particular emphasis on the quality of their code and UX design.
""They stood out for their integrity and the pride they take in their workmanship."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for Space Coast Credit Union, a financial institution with about $4.5 billion in assets. We have about 425,000 members across the state of Florida, primarily the southeast coast of Florida. I’m the senior vice president of marketing.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly?

We needed them to redesign our website, which serves both members and prospects.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

They did a complete redesign of our company website, a mobile-responsive site which gets about a million visits a month. The site is a tool for people who are searching for autos, mortgages, checking accounts, and other financial services, as well as a resource for existing members who are looking for self-service assistance. It was basically a start from scratch. We implemented a Spanish translation because we serve a predominantly Hispanic market.

Wakefly did a thorough job of vetting our specifications. We clearly drove what we were looking for in terms of the overall design and feel and usability. Our main requirements were user-friendly and mobile-first contemporary design with a journey involving minimal clicks, along with the Spanish translation and scalable development for Kentico, our CMS platform. We wanted it to be interactive, ADA-compliant, and optimized for search engines. We have some third parties we work with. All of those specifications were provided to them and they came back with recommendations.

We provided the content, but they assisted us ad hoc and created some content we needed. They did all the code development and built it within Kentico for us. We used a lot of out-of-the-box functionality, but they built a custom mortgage estimator for us, which I believe was done in jQuery. For the mortgage estimator, they loaded basically all the details from our pricing engine so it can recommend products with an estimated rate and payment. They introduced several enhancements, such as centralizing all of our disclosures in our footnotes throughout the site and automating how we report rates.

We implemented workflow management because in our we're a heavily regulated industry, so having a separation of responsibilities between who can create approved content and push the content live into the production environment is critical to us. They built a workflow on the backend that would manage that, which was quite efficient. They also helped us quite a bit through consultation. We hosted our own site, but they helped us set up our environments to make sure that we had installed everything properly on our end. They did that at no additional cost.

What is the team composition?

I had a primary project manager, Corey (Lead Project Manager, Wakefly). She did a fabulous job and she was our main point of contact. Steve (Web Developer) attended all of our weekly project calls, but I think he had other people he was coordinating with. Dean (CEO and Co-Founder) was also a point of contact and participated almost as the executive stakeholder. It was those three people that I interfaced with. But I know that there were others involved. There was probably an army of people working on our site that I wasn't exposed to.

How did you come to work with Wakefly?

We went through an extensive RFP process. That process alone probably took six months. But we vigorously vetted several different providers, with the requirement that they all had to be experienced with Kentico. We started out with a list of 10, narrowed it down to six after some preliminary phone calls, and then after a phone interview, narrowed it down to the top three. We did in-person interviews based on their RFP and then chose Wakefly.

Because we’re so regulated, and based on prior experiences, we required US-based developers. We have an environment where people were having to VPN, and we restrict access through a VPN, so everybody on the team was based in the US.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $150,000–200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from January 2018 through July 2019.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In the first week since launch, we've seen a 235% increase in our lead generation through the new site. We have seen a 40% increase in conversions, which we measure as a click to apply. Mobile traffic to our site has increased by 30%. Launching a new site, you might expect some of that stuff to actually decrease, so we're quite pleased with the result.

They did a great job of creating clean code, optimizing site speed, and designing the UX. Their quality of work was exceptional.

How did Wakefly perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was exceptional and the professionalism and friendliness of their team were exceptional. They actually were quite flexible and worked with our tools.

We have a protocol for projects with meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and action items. I believe we used a smart sheet to track our project timeline, which they maintained, but there was 100 percent transparency. All the dates were hit. If anything had to shift or if they had concerns that we were going to be going over the scope of what the project initially was, the conversations were proactive.

There were no surprises along the way. They were prompt with getting the meeting minutes out the very next day with no action items identified. They never missed a call. Every project that we've worked with different vendors on hasn't gone as well. They really made this very effortless on our part. Our website launch was delayed, not because of WakeFly, but on our side. They also gave us an alternative contact who was available during the call when Steve was on vacation. There were always resources available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I choose my business partners based on their core value set, and Wakefly was a good fit for us because of their professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, flexibility, and passion for the work they do. They stood out for their integrity and the pride they take in their workmanship. They really believe in proactive communication and transparency. All of those things are what we stand for and I saw those things in them.

I fully intend to use them for any future website development need and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a website development project involving Kentico.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No project is perfect, and we had some bumps along the way, but we reached out to each other proactively and had a conversation. There's nothing I would say that they could do better or do differently. I was really happy.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Invest upfront in the decisions and the scope of the project. Put the time in up front so that there's 100% clarity on what it is they're developing and what your expectations are. Keep the channels of communication open and involve your stakeholders on your side early and frequently so that you're not going back and having to make any changes.

Be responsive. Wakefly is very good, but I know from their side that if you're not getting them answers and communicating about decisions or making the approvals in a timely fashion, they’re limited by how much they can serve you. We were very conscientious about being on top of everything.

""I feel totally comfortable expressing our wants and needs, and confident they can meet our expectations."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I serve as the content marketing manager for Lexia Learning (A Rosetta Stone Company), a reading technology company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Wakefly, Inc.?

We needed help to fix performance issues on our website, as well as to optimize our conversion strategy for better lead generation.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to get organic traffic back to where it was before the big drop and to increase lead generation.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor?

I interviewed three companies. I was most impressed with Wakefly, Inc. based on their recommendations during the phone interview and presentation.

Describe the project in detail.

Our website suffered from a consistent loss of organic traffic that was affecting our overall lead generation. Wakefly, Inc. did quite a bit of development work for us including fixing our site speed. Additionally, they helped us garner insights about our keyword and landing strategy by introducing the use of PPC campaigns. They’re currently sampling our website visitors and traffic patterns in order to take advantage of areas of engagement.

What was the team composition?

I primarily work with an account manager, a strategist, and a coordinator. I occasionally speak with a developer or a PPC professional as well.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?

Our site speed has dramatically improved and we’re seeing a definite increase in our organic traffic. It isn’t back to where it was but it’s trending positively and we’ve recovered almost 70% of our lost traffic. We’re still working on conversion optimization but their initial work of identifying the best calls to action is done. They completed the work with ease and in a timely manner.

How did the Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is excellent. They’re all wonderful communicators. They always send detailed agendas and follow-up emails to ensure everyone is on the same page. From foundational work (title tags and meta descriptions) to fixing site speed to optimizing our conversion strategy, they handle everything I've thrown at them and completed all assignments.

What impresses you about the Wakefly, Inc.?

The people are wonderful. Their personalities really set them apart. I feel totally comfortable expressing our wants and needs, and confident they can meet our expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not really. Everything is working great since we got into the flow. I don't have any complaints, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

Directors, Atlas Van Lines

- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Jul 17, 2018

**Feedback Summary**: The designs that Wakefly has provided have exceeded expectations, while the transition between CMS platforms has been managed very smoothly. The team consistently delivers on time and on budget. A flexible approach and an emphasis on availability make the team a reliable long-term partner.
"“We couldn’t ask for a better vendor to help us through all the projects they’ve worked on.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

Lauren Crays: Atlas Van Lines is the second-largest van line in the United States.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly, Inc.?

Laura Rush: We were looking to move our main website onto a different CMS platform. Kentico was the platform of choice for us. We worked with several partners on this project, and Wakefly, Inc. is our current provider.

LC: We also needed a new set of eyes on our web properties. We felt they were getting a bit stale and we needed a fresh perspective.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

LC: We have five projects going on right now, but we’ve worked together extensively over the last few years. They’ve helped us with several of our web properties in various capacities. I’m currently working on one of our larger internal sites right now called the Atlas Loop, and they’re also helping us to move that site onto Kentico. We look to them for recommendations on the design aspects of our templates and layouts. We’ve also contracted them to do a variety of other projects.

LR: Wakefly has helped us move onto the Kentico platform across all our sites while ensuring that Atlas’ requirements are met. We have specific ways of doing things, and their team has worked productively within our parameters. They’ve been very accommodating on these projects with respect to making sure they follow the Atlas rules from an IT perspective.

What is the team composition?

LC: Dean (Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, Wakefly, Inc.) is our sales account representative, while Brad (Senior Technical Project Manager, Wakefly, Inc.) is our project manager. Our weekly calls are with Brad. When we’ve gone out to their offices to quote additional projects, we typically talk with Dean on the phone.

How did you come to work with Wakefly, Inc.?

LR: We considered several vendors during our search. Someone on our team had previous experience with Wakefly, and after looking into their services, we thought they would be a good fit for these projects. We’ve been pleased with the results.

LC: The last vendor we worked with was an advertising and marketing agency. They do some web work but don’t specialize in it like Wakefly does. The Wakefly team has the bandwidth to take on several different projects simultaneously, which is something that not every vendor we’ve worked with has been able to do.

How much have you invested with them?

LR: We’ve invested about $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

LR: We started working together in April 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

LC: We’ve really liked the design work Wakefly has provided thus far, while the switch to Kentico has been an easy transition for us. The team works quickly to get things up and running. The process has been very smooth from the beginning.

The time they’ve taken to learn more about Atlas and the services we provide has been crucial to their ability to make substantive recommendations. Many of the new templates are mobile friendly, which is something our team has struggled with in the past. The new templates make it easier for us to engage our target audience.

How did Wakefly, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

LC: We’ve been very pleased with everything so far, especially as compared to previous vendors we’ve worked with in the past. They turn projects around rapidly and we’re very happy with the workflow. We have weekly status calls with them and there’s always an open line of communication. They consistently check in and send project updates along the way, which is a refreshing shift from what we’re used to with outside agencies.

What did you find most impressive about them?

LR: They support us any time we reach out to them and go the extra mile to educate us. We work so diligently with them on all of the projects and support. If someone is unavailable, we can keep moving with our projects and stay on schedule. They work very hard to help us maintain our timelines. We couldn’t ask for a better vendor to help us through all the projects they’ve worked on.

LC: We’ve gone to them with questions or issues with recommendations from previous vendors that we weren’t sure about, and they’re always happy to provide guidance. They’ll help out with anything, even if it wasn’t a project that they quoted.

Wakefly Inc. has also been really good at making recommendations based on our budget. They’re very transparent in keeping us updated on how various projects are impacting costs.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

LC: Setting project timelines has been very important for our team. It helps us stay on top of everything because we know Wakefly will deliver on time. Outlining those milestones to ensure that we’re meeting our goals, objectives, and deadlines has been central to the success of the project so far.

LR: Potential customers need to identify what they’re looking to accomplish because once they define it, Wakefly Inc. is going to run with it. If a customer doesn’t define their scope well, it will inevitably and unnecessarily draw out the engagement.

**Feedback Summary**: Wakefly has delivered high-quality work that reflects their expertise in the field. They are responsive and keep the project on schedule in the face of external hurdles. They adapt their communication channels to better match project status and are prepared to work at the very start.
""It’s not the norm for agencies to be as professional, responsive, and prepared as Wakefly is."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for Shaw Industries. We’re the commercial division of Shaw Floors—the world’s largest carpet manufacturer. Currently, I am the digital product manager, but when we started the project I was the project manager

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly?

We needed to migrate one of our commercial brand’s websites from a WordPress environment to a Kentico environment.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing WordPress website with multiple pages, and Wakefly built additional pages and transferred everything onto the Kentico platform. They also worked with a third-party vendor to develop a database and all of the backend connections. Additionally, we’ve hired them for similar projects on a smaller scale.

What is the team composition?

At the start of the project, we had weekly meetings with Sierra (Project Manager, Wakefly) but as we’re getting closer to the end we talk multiple times a week.

How did you come to work with Wakefly?

We vetted three vendors that responded to our RFP and thought that Wakefly had the experience and personality that would fit best with our team.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $130,000–$140,000 in this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We had worked together on a few smaller projects, but this project began in February 2018 and is still ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don't have any metrics because we’re still waiting for the site to launch, but the quality of their work and expertise has been exactly what we’re looking for.

How did Wakefly perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re extremely responsive, and Sierra worked hard to keep the project on track. At the beginning of the project, we communicated mainly through phone and email. As we’re reaching the end of the project, we’ve begun using their ticketing system, which enables us to review the site and enables them to easily process tickets and make changes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve found their responsiveness impressive and, more than anything, their ability to continue improving the project even when things slowed down or stopped on our side.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s not the norm for agencies to be as professional, responsive, and prepared as Wakefly is. In order for them to work as effectively and quickly as possible, be sure to have everything established and ready beforehand.

Additionally, their ability to adapt to new cutting-edge technology make them a valuable long-term partner.
""Their exceptional customer service is why we're still working with them—even after eight years."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the director of marketing at a B2B manufacturer. We create connectivity products that are used in a variety of markets from telecommunications to the military.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly?

Wakefly is our web development partner and helps us build a variety of websites, each with their own unique challenges. They also help us with our digital platform.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Wakefly provides a wide range of services. They primarily and currently provide web development for four of our sites. They guide our marketing team and executive team through the full web development process. Our projects vary depending on our need. For example, their team developed a Chinese site they built using Baidu, a corporate site, and a platform housing multiple brands. They help create unique pages, features, portals, and interfaces. Their developers code the front- and backend, perform maintenance, and help with PPC activities.

Throughout our engagement, we were acquired by a large corporation and had to transfer some of their websites to another vendor. They're always professional about these relocations and support us through the transfers.

What is the team composition?

Our team composition depends on the needs of the project. I primarily work with their brand manager and PPC specialist. Their CEO is also available whenever we need him.

How did you come to work with Wakefly?

We found them through a request for quotation (RFQ) process.

How much have you invested with them?

We invest around $40,000 for low-end, "clone" websites; For high-end and newer websites, we invest around $150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in July 2010 and the work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In terms of project management and meeting milestones, they make our business look excellent to our clients. Their management skills are exceptional, and they're excellent at articulating a clear timeline with specific dates and elements. They're always ready with a plan B, and their word is their bond. There are almost no surprises, and their team will take full accountability and responsibility if anything goes wrong. If any issue arises, they'll adapt there plan with the timeline to fix everything. Because of all this, they continue to increase our revenue.

How did Wakefly perform from a project management standpoint?

It's a two-way street, and they work excellently with our team. Their team is disciplined, accountable, and make it a high priority to hit our expectations. Working on web projects can get intense, and they work with us side-by-side—even through long weekends. I cannot tell you how many times I've called them on a Sunday to ask a question or request a feature. Their senior managers explain complications with honesty and don't sugar-coat new issues that need to be prioritized. It's unusual to find such an organized and professional partner. They're not just a nine-to-five agency; Their team works extremely hard to meet milestones and provides detailed outlines of where our money goes. Their exceptional customer service is why we're still working with them—even after eight years.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their team is responsive, and we have an extremely high-level of trust in their work. Our business ebbs and flows, but they've been with us all the way. I'm a marketing director, so I don't have the technical knowledge to fix urgent issues; Thus, it's great knowing that I can rely on them to respond within the same day to answer a question. Even though I'm not their biggest customer, they consider me a valuable partner. This reflects the phenomenal integrity of their senior management. Wakefly always try to meet our budget and deadlines, are competitively priced, and provide cutting-edge technology.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have turnovers and it would be nice having the same team. However, this is an extremely fast-evolving technology, and the new managers or developers they bring in offer better insights into the cutting-edge of technology. Thus, it's a more of a benefit for us. Their senior management also consists of the same people since day one, so I can't complain too much.

Any advice for potential customers?

In the beginning, listen closely to their expertise to understand design brief. Make sure your internal project management is excellent. Understand that you need to work as well to hit your deadlines and expectations. Always ask questions and understand what you need to do to help them succeed. It's a partnership, both of you have to work (50/50) to achieve success.

"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP and marketing director for a medium-sized community bank in Vermont.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Wakefly?

We use our website as an online channel to deliver information and offer transactional opportunities to our customers. However, we needed to make sure that it was up to speed with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. We wanted to proactively ensure that all of our customers had access to our site’s information.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, they performed an ADA audit to identify any issues with formatting and end-user accessibility, particularly the navigation usage. They then proposed different ways to meet ADA guidelines while also improving our service. This entailed maintaining the site, launching an e-newsletter, supporting our CMS, and providing digital marketing ideas to better reach our target audiences. Currently, we’re tracking the site’s usage to make sure that our users get the most out of the site.

What is the team composition?

We primarily work with a project manager and the director of marketing.

How did you come to work with Wakefly?

We received good referrals from various sources and decided to follow up on them.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work began in November 2016 and is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to their efforts and suggestions, we have more confidence in our site structure. Moreover, we better understand the ADA guidelines and are well-prepared for future ADA audits. We’re also pleased with the e-newsletter because it was a big priority for us. Although we encountered a few hurdles along the way, they’ve helped us overcome all of them.

How did Wakefly perform from a project management standpoint?

Their management is excellent; the whole process is streamlined and well-structured. They deliver regular reports about how they’ve spent each hour, what they’ve accomplished, and what their plans are.

At least once a month, we meet with the team to go over our account. If we’re working on a particular project, we typically have additional meetings as needed. Afterward, they provide follow-up reports about the content of the meetings, which helps us understand the plan moving forward. In terms of daily communication, we mostly interface via phone or email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re exceptionally responsive; when they say they’re going to get back to us, they do it. We’re also confident in their technical ability, and they’re always available when we need them. They react quickly to any site issues, which is immensely important because the site is our customer-facing channel. We never have to wait long for them to resolve something.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we haven’t had any issues. They’ve always delivered exactly what they said they would.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear roadmap of the project goals and the site’s purpose. This way, they can work on the scope and use their expertise to give feedback.

## Portfolio & Awards

### Tendeg - Website Redesign & Development
Tendeg partnered with Wakefly as the company transitioned from a fast-moving engineering firm into a national and global manufacturer of deployable antennas. Their goal was to redesign the website to reflect this growth, communicate their competitive strengths, and support customer outreach.
To meet an ambitious timeline, Wakefly and Tendeg worked in a highly collaborative design cycle with rapid feedback and implementation. The final site features structured product category pages with clear specifications, integrated newsletter and contact forms, and an embedded careers listing to support recruitment.
Wakefly built the site in WordPress using the Elementor framework, enabling quick development and long-term maintainability. The Tendeg team ramped up quickly and contributed to final page creation and content edits prior to launch.

### Gogo Air - Kentico Site of the Month June 2025
Gogo, a global leader in inflight connectivity, partnered with Wakefly to create a modernized web presence that reflects the company’s technological evolution and strategic growth. The project launched at a pivotal moment—shortly after Gogo merged with Satcom Direct, a major provider of satellite communications solutions for business aviation and government sectors.
Wakefly was tasked with unifying the two organizations’ digital identities into a single, cohesive platform. Working closely with Gogo’s team, we restructured the site architecture, refined messaging, and realigned content to represent the expanded mission, broader audience segments, and comprehensive connectivity offerings now available through the combined entity.
The resulting website—built on Kentico Xperience—is a fast, scalable platform that positions Gogo as a multi-orbit connectivity leader. It enhances lead generation, streamlines content management, and strengthens the brand as it enters its next phase of growth.

### ECHO - Website Rebuild & Redesign
ECHO USA partnered with Wakefly to rebuild echo-usa.com, creating a modern, brand-aligned website with an improved user experience. The previous site did not fully represent the company’s brand, and navigation needed rethinking to help users find products and information more easily.
During the discovery process, Wakefly collaborated closely with ECHO USA to understand their product lines and accessories. Based on these insights, we recommended a reorganized site structure and created wireframes, which were reviewed and approved by the client.
The new website was built on Kentico Xperience, giving ECHO USA full control over content management. With Kentico Page Builder, the marketing team can now easily create, update, and manage pages using intuitive drag-and-drop widgets—eliminating the need for developer support while ensuring consistent, scalable design across the site.

### Amboy Bank - Website Redesign
Amboy Bank partnered with Wakefly to modernize its digital presence through a seamless migration to the latest Kentico Xperience platform. The redesign delivers a cleaner, more contemporary visual style that strengthens the bank’s trusted brand while giving customers a clearer, more intuitive understanding of its products and services.
The new homepage provides a streamlined overview of Amboy Bank’s core offerings, supported by strategic calls to action that guide users toward contacting the bank or exploring additional resources. Navigation was completely restructured to align with natural user behavior, making it easier for customers to find the information they need with fewer clicks.
On the backend, the upgraded CMS experience significantly enhances content management. Amboy’s internal teams can now update pages, adjust messaging, and publish new content quickly and efficiently. With a refined site architecture and thoughtful content organization, the new platform supports both day-to-day operations and the bank’s long-term digital strategy.

### Amboy Direct - Website Redesign
Amboy Direct’s website has been fully upgraded to the latest Kentico Xperience platform, delivering a faster, more responsive, and user-friendly digital experience. The refreshed design introduces a clean, modern interface that makes it easier for customers to explore Amboy Direct’s online banking solutions. A more focused homepage clearly communicates the brand’s value proposition while offering direct pathways to key products, account information, and essential tools for new and existing customers.
The redesigned navigation system enhances usability by guiding visitors smoothly through the site, reducing friction, and helping prospective customers find answers and account options quickly. On the backend, the updated CMS has significantly improved operational efficiency. Amboy Direct’s team can now update content with ease, keeping the site accurate, engaging, and simple to maintain.
Together, these enhancements deliver a high-performance platform optimized for speed, accessibility, and long-term scalability—supporting Amboy Direct’s continued digital growth.

### Shindaiwa - Website Redesign & Development
Wakefly partnered with Shindaiwa to modernize their digital presence by redesigning their website on Kentico V13, focusing on a user-centered experience for both industrial and outdoor equipment audiences.
The project began with wireframing to structure navigation for intuitive content access, followed by responsive design to ensure seamless functionality across all devices. During development, we preserved Shindaiwa’s branding within the existing ECHO framework while building features and functionalities aligned with business goals.
After comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and client training, the site was launched, empowering the Shindaiwa team to manage content and updates independently.
The result is a modern, intuitive website that strengthens Shindaiwa’s digital footprint and delivers a smooth, engaging experience for customers.

### Community Medical Centers - Website Redesign
Community Medical Centers (CMC) partnered with Wakefly to redesign and rebuild their main website, modernizing their digital presence and preparing for the future. The previous site had been built on an older version of Kentico and upgraded to 12SP over the years. With Kentico 12 reaching end-of-life in 2023, moving to Kentico 13 was a necessary step to ensure long-term scalability, security, and performance.
Having collaborated with CMC for over eight years, Wakefly brought a deep understanding of the organization’s website requirements. This experience guided the redesign and rebuild, ensuring a modern, user-friendly site that meets both operational needs and the expectations of CMC’s diverse audiences.

### BankFive - Website Redesign & Development
In 2021, BankFive partnered with Wakefly to modernize its primary website and elevate both security and usability. The bank sought a contemporary, customizable digital experience with top-tier security features and an intuitive interface—designed not only for customers navigating the site, but also for internal teams managing content daily. Because BankFive was already familiar with the Kentico platform, Wakefly recommended an upgrade to Kentico 13 Xperience to deliver the flexibility and long-term stability the bank needed.
The new site provides a cleaner, more modern user experience supported by a streamlined content management workflow. Flexible templates, enhanced search capabilities, and custom integrations ensure the website is both powerful and easy to maintain. With improved navigation tailored to Personal and Business banking audiences, BankFive now has a scalable digital platform built for continued growth.

### PCC Community Wellness Center - Website Redesign
Wakefly partnered with PCC Community Wellness Center to design and develop a modern, accessible website that reflects the organization’s mission of building a Culture of Health in the communities it serves. Built on WordPress using Elementor, the new site was designed to meet the needs of a wide range of users—from patients and caregivers to donors, volunteers, and job seekers. Wakefly focused on creating a clean, user-friendly interface that would make it easy for visitors to find the information they need quickly and intuitively.
One of the primary goals of the project was to improve access to care by simplifying the online experience for both new and existing patients. The updated site features streamlined navigation, clear calls to action, and easy-to-use tools for scheduling appointments, accessing the patient portal, and finding providers. To better serve PCC’s diverse patient base, the site was also built with multilingual support, offering content in English, Spanish, Polish, and Arabic.
Beyond patient care, the website was also designed to support PCC’s growth as a community-focused organization. Dedicated sections for donors, community partners, and volunteers help tell PCC’s story, showcase the impact of its programs, and make it easy for supporters to get involved or contribute. A robust careers section highlights open positions and communicates the organization’s values and inclusive culture to prospective healthcare professionals.
With this redesign, PCC now has a digital platform that not only functions as an essential patient resource but also serves as a strategic tool for engagement, outreach, and organizational development. The new website positions PCC for long-term success by connecting people with the care, resources, and opportunities that promote health and well-being across the communities it serves.

### Space Coast Credit Union - Website Redesign
Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) partnered with Wakefly to reorganize, redesign, and rebuild their public-facing marketing website. The existing SCCU.com website was built on a very outdated version of Kentico and didn’t always follow Kentico development best practices. Due to this, the day to day management of the website was extremely tedious and often required a developer to complete simple content update tasks.
The main objective of the website redesign was to create a platform that enabled the SCCU marketing team to provide the credit union’s membership with up to date content, ranging from rate information, decision making tools and the ability to troubleshoot common banking issues such as dealing with a lost or stolen credit card or finding a branch location in their area.
Wakefly designed and developed a new website that included a flexible “general content template” for SCCU to use for any content that doesn’t have a custom page template. This flexibility has allowed for content creators to build pages easily without the aid of developers.
As a result of this newly designed website, SCCU now has full control over all of the content on the website and has found Wakefly’s implementation to be simple and straightforward, yet powerful – and provides them with the ability to update their content with ease. Content staging and workflow was also configured to streamline the content creation and publishing process.

### Patcraft - Website Development
https://www.patcraft.com/
Wakefly, Inc. began working with Patcraft in 2018. The relationship started with maintaining and enhancing their existing Kentico website. The larger goal was to replace their existing website with a modern, integrated, and more maintainable solution built with Kentico MVC. In 2020-2021, a team consisting of Wakefly, Iris, Patcraft, and Patcraft's parent company Shaw Industries, Inc., achieved this goal by redesigning and rebuilding Patcraft's website.
In this website rebuild, a major objective was to allow data from a custom application to be managed within the Kentico CMS interface. Wakefly also rebuilt the website search functionality using Algolia, to directly integrate with Patcraft's product data and provide an expressive faceted and predictive search. The customer account and product checkout process were also rebuilt using new services defined by Shaw Industries. Throughout the process, Wakefly and Shaw Industries jointly contributed development solutions to make these new integrations possible.
Through collaborative efforts of all parties involved, Wakefly aided in integrating Patcraft's new website into their organization's newly-standardized services, extended content entry capabilities within the CMS, and gave the site an improved look and content structure by implementing Iris's modern design.

After discussions with the Florida Cancer Specialists team Wakefly was able to understand their needs and make marketing message recommendations that would suite their objective which was to connect with patients and their families, that are spread across many regions of Florida. ### First American - Website Redesign & Site Migration
First American Equipment Finance first came to Wakefly looking to consolidate their corporate website and 16 industry websites into one. They also wanted to upgrade their CMS from Kentico 9 to 12, improving security and enhancing features. An overarching goal of the project was to provide a better, more consistent client experience and reduce duplication of efforts for its marketing team.

The primary goals of this project were:
- Consolidate all of the websites into one Kentico website
- Improve the navigation within this consolidated website
- Upgrade their website to the current Kentico 12 version to improve security and enhance features
- Reduce the need for multiple Kentico licenses and hosting accounts

The website redesign project resulted in achieving the following :
- A better, more consistent visitor experience
- Reduced duplication of efforts for the marketing team
- Reduced cost of ownership vs the network of websites (management, hosting, licensing)
- Improved organic rankings, long term lead generation and brand awareness

### KVH - Website Development & Redesign
KVH Inc. redesigned their Sitecore website with the goal of greatly improving the branding, user’s experience and overall functionality. The KVH team challenged Wakefly to develop a visual design that portrayed KVH’s innovative, technology-forward brand on the website. This new implementation now allows KVH to expand their market reach.

### Benu Networks - Website Redesign
Benu Networks (https://benunetworks.com/) came to Wakefly looking to redesign their existing site with a clean, professional look that would support their brand. Other goals of the project were to make sure that the content was organized in a way that would encourage visitors to contact them via calls to action, and help them find relevant information more easily.
From a design and messaging standpoint, the new site needed to clearly explain Benu's offerings and value proposition. Wakefly created a distinct new look and feel for the site that was more open and flowing instead of using more traditional panels and components, especially on the home page.  The new site also provides a well-organized navigation and content structure for an intuitive user experience. This allows for easy access to product resources and datasheets.
It was also very important for the Benu marketing team to be able to easily manage the site content themselves in the future. With this in mind, we built component-based templates that gave Benu flexibility to create a variety of page layouts easily and without a developer. Forms were created in a flexible manner so that they can be displayed either in a modal or on a page.

Design changes and functionality enhancements distinguished this new site from its predecessor and made it applicable to the NRDC team.

### Shaw Sports Turf
Shaw Sports Turf (https://www.shawsportsturf.com/) is American-owned and based in Calhoun, GA. Shaw leads the industry in research and development and bringing innovation to the market for over two decades.
Shaw has completed over 2,500 successful field installations and an impressive list of high-profile installations, including the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Georgia Tech, University of Arkansas and many others.
Shaw came to Wakefly looking to migrate their existing WordPress and also give the site a new look. The old site had been up for 3 years and they wanted to expand content and functionality to be able to better showcase their recent projects and boost their SEO.
We started off the project with a competitive analysis, keyword research and a review of their analytics to guide both our design and the information architecture of the site. This resulted in expanding and restructuring a lot of the content to better suit the needs of their target audience – coaches, athletic directors, architects and parks and rec directors.
The new site was built in Kentico, with ease of use in mind. The client will need to frequently update their site to highlight new projects and industry news so we wanted to set up a structure that would allow them to easily manage and tag content to keep it very searchable. We also streamlined the management of the rep locator both on the front and back end, making it easier to assign reps to multiple territories and get users to the info they needed more quickly.
