 I run a performance creative agency and wanted to build a personal brand presence on short-form social to generate inbound leads. I was looking for a system to consistently produce and distribute short-form video across platforms, and for the accountability and structure to keep that output going. The program was sold around a 10,000,000 view guarantee within 12 months, which is what made the investment feel de-risked.

The engagement covered a twelve-month membership to their Skool community, a six-month intensive one-on-one guidance period over Slack, a customized program timeline and working plan, done-with-you studio setup, done-with-you scriptwriting, done-for-you interview-style content sessions, gear recommendations, production management and automated posting setup through Vista Social, ManyChat funnel integration, and unlimited private coaching calls. Editor staffing was offered as an add-on at roughly $1,000 per month rather than included in the program price. They authorized me in writing to use my own in-house editors instead, and provided their Editing Handbook and posting guides for my team to follow.

I worked primarily with one assigned coach who handled strategy, scripting guidance, and day-to-day support over Slack. An onboarding and account contact handled enrollment, billing, and setup. Later, a support representative handled the guarantee review, escalated to their leadership team. The agreement was countersigned by the company's principal. Editing and posting were handled by my own internal team under their guidelines.

The engagement ran from June 2025 through June 2026 and is complete. I am no longer working with them.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

How did your relationship with your partner evolve?
Over the twelve-month period, across six platforms and three profiles tracked in Vista Social, my content generated roughly 364,000 total views. The program's headline guarantee was 10,000,000 views in twelve months, so the result was about 3.6% of that guarantee. I posted 1,285 video posts across the four main platforms during the term, and by the vendor's own count I missed four posting days across the seven months from August through February. My output declined in the final months of the program.

When I invoked the refund guarantee, it was denied. I have the full analytics export and the complete email exchange documenting the request and the denial.

How did their team perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication during the six-month intensive period was responsive. My coach was accessible over Slack, answered questions quickly, and provided documented processes including their scripting framework, Editing Handbook, and Vista Social posting guide. The systems were organized and the cadence expectations were clear.

Support and structure tapered noticeably after the intensive period ended in December, and my output declined in the months that followed. Some of the done-for-you interview content produced early on did not end up being usable for my purposes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their documented systems. The scripting process, editing standards, and automated cross-posting setup were genuinely well organized, and the operational side of getting content produced and distributed at volume was the strongest part of the program. My coach was responsive and easy to work with during the active support window.
In what ways can they improve?
The guarantee terms. The guarantee requires "30 videos per month for 10 consecutive months," but the agreement never defines what counts as a video, and that single undefined term determines whether anyone qualifies. When I requested the refund, the initial denial applied a per-platform minimum of roughly 300 posts on each platform, a requirement that does not appear in the agreement. After I raised that, the standard changed to a per-month count of unique videos, which also does not appear in the agreement. The ambiguity in language the company drafted was resolved in the company's favor each time.

Separately, the guarantee requires videos edited by a company-trained editor, while the pricing section states that editor compensation is not included. In practice that means qualifying for the guarantee involves a paid add-on beyond the program price.

To their credit, they confirmed I paid in full and on time, acknowledged that I executed consistently for the majority of the term, and corrected an error when I pointed one out.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

Get the guarantee's counting method in writing before you pay. Specifically, ask whether a "video" means one upload or one post per platform, what the exact monthly threshold is, whether a 28-day month is treated differently, and who verifies the count. Ask whether using your own editor affects your eligibility, and get that answer in writing too. The systems and coaching have real value, but treat the guarantee as marketing rather than a financial backstop, and only invest an amount you would be comfortable spending if the guarantee never pays out.

Our follower count grew by 26% to 663 followers on all platforms.Moreover, we’ve received one lead so far, but we’re barely getting started. We expect the best is yet to come.

Viral Coach has delivered on time for the most part. Sometimes, the scripts are a little bit delayed. I’ve paid a lot of money for this program, so I was hoping the scripts would come out a little bit quicker. However, the team has coached me to just repost and recycle some previous videos.Our primary form of communication is email or messaging apps.

There was no progress or success; all they achieved was a giant waste of money on an AI script-generating system that generated scripts that were awful, and by awful I mean technically inaccurate and alienating to my target customers.

Here's what happened: These guys will help you with basic starting points like which equipment to buy, how to set up your camera, but it's not worth the $6000/month they charge. Their AI scripts are trash, they just get on chatgpt, describe your business, and then have it create interview questions for you. Just do that yourself for free. They are way out of depth if you have any degree of technical aspect to your business, and are not able to get a AI content system together for technical businesses. Upon realizing that the scripts that generate are terrible and irrelevant to my client base, I brought this up to their team, and they said "oh, ya the scrips we generate aren't going to work, you need to edit the script so that the information is correct." In other words, they couldn't deliver what I was paying them for and told me to do it myself. They will tell you you are a fit regardless of what your company is or does. It has been an absolute waste of money for us and I couldn't more strongly advocate for you to go a different direction.
