We hired them to create a new website to replace the one we have been using. This involved finishing up the website's look, fixing any mistakes on a preliminary version of the site, and building both the front end part and the backend of the site. We also needed to ensure that everything functions properly once the website is live.

Founder of an apparel brand utilising NFT's to interact with the community.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vibhuti Technologies, and what were your goals?

We hired them to develop a custom ecommerce platform which is integrated with blockchain technology. We needed an expert in Solidity to create feature which allows us to map NFT's to our online products. This idea is novel therefore, needed to built from scratch.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through Upwork whilst interviewing six other candidates. Given this was a custom and novel project, we needed experts in Solidity with a profound understanding of the cryptocurrency industry. Vibhuti spent a number of hours over the course of two weeks outlining their approach, explaining their expertise and detailing the process to complete the works whilst offering cost effective ideas. Their knowledge, thoroughness and cost led us to choose their services.

After sending and agreeing to a detailed quote, Vibhuti shared a project management tool with descriptions of the process coupled with milestones. They then sent wireframes which included functionality descriptions. Communication was open and constant. Upon completion of the beta site, a manual was sent to aid UX and understanding of features. This became a live document which we used to refine the platform to my satisfaction.

There were six people in the team including a Project Manager, Solutions Architect, Server Admin, Graphics and Web designer, Blockchain Developer and Senior Web Designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Although the project from Vibhuti's end finished some months ago, we have yet to launch due to logistic and product issues. Despite the project being complete, Vibhuti have been exceptional with their ongoing support. They have been exceptional in updating the platform and helping us troubleshoot unexpected problems. We have tested the platform several times and it works seamlessly.

The project management was great, they regularly met with deadlines, provided clear and precise milestones and often made suggestions to improve the UX. They used tools such as Zoom, Loom, google docs, GitHub & remix.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Apart from their speed and extensive knowledge in blockchain technology, what stood out for us is their ongoing support. As it's my first time building a tech company and working with international developers, I was hesitant and worried about being scammed.

I've heard endless stories regarding this issue, whether it be under delivery, no delivery or a huge struggle to get what was initially agreed. Not only have Vibhuti delivered what they said they would but they have gone the extra mile to support me way beyond the end of completion. I highly doubt other developers would offer such continuous support.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As always, no company is perfect so there's always room for improvement. I feel that Vibhuti could be little more attentive when it comes to detail in order to accurately deploy instructions by the customer. This improves efficiency by limiting he back and forth. With that said, when working on novel idea details are bound to be missed by the best of developers.

The project consisted of creating the platform from the ground up. It started with the design, which had many changes on my part because of the different routes we decided to take on the business side. All I had to do was relay what I wanted the website to look like, and they made it even better than what I envisioned. After the design was finalized, they started the coding process, which was much faster than expected. In about a month or less the coding to back the design was completed and the website was functional.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

To start, everything that they were doing was viewable at any time. For the design, I gave them the basis, and over time made changes to it, which were all demonstrating progress by the time they were finished. On the coding side of things, we set milestones on Upwork for getting started, 70% completion, and tested and delivered. Every time a milestone was complete, they'd let me know to check out whatever progress was made, and then submit the milestone to be executed on my end.

Their project management is excellent. I didn't have a specific day for anything to get done, but that didn't slow the progress. If they said something will get done today, it would be completed that day. The team works very efficiently.

Even though our time zones are pretty close to opposite, the communication from Purnima and Munish was not an issue at all. I'd send some messages late in their day and get a response quickly. Another impressive feature is that they are all in and would like your website to succeed. They're around for the long haul, not just until whatever project they're working on is completed.

The partnership with Vibhuti yielded significant achievements that we could measure and observe. We noticed considerable progress in our relationships with merchants, higher conversion rates, and increased customer satisfaction.
