I am a managing partner at Dizer Capital. We are a two-person venture capital firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vetsweb?

We wanted to show a web presence and needed someone to build our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vetsweb developed our website using WordPress. It shares information about us and uses sub-menus—nothing too complicated.

What is the team composition?

I dealt with Jason (CEO, Vetsweb), but other people may have worked on the project.

How did you come to work with Vetsweb?

I found them through a Google search and online reviews. I called two or three other vendors, but Vetsweb seemed to have the best offer in terms of their quality of work and prices.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around $750. We have a maintenance service with them for $50 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on this project in August 2019. Vetsweb finished the work within a week.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was happy with Vetsweb’s timely response. If I opened a ticket, they usually resolved it within a day or two. If I requested changes on the website, they took care of it and fixed things I wanted them to fix.

How did Vetsweb perform from a project management standpoint?

Vetsweb did well. I am satisfied with what they have done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

While I haven’t really dealt with other vendors, Jason was a straightforward and honest guy. He lives in the same city I do, and we met face-to-face. All in all, the team seemed to be trustworthy.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly can’t say there is. Vetsweb has done everything I have wanted them to do, and for a reasonable price. I have no complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would recommend Vetsweb to anyone that needs web-related services—they are definitely good people to talk to.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the owner of Airborne Texas Air, a residential and commercial HVAC/Refrigeration company just SE of Dallas, Texas. Our company has approx 10 full time employees and we serve customers within a 60 miles radius. Roughly $675,000 in annual revenue.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vetsweb?

We were looking to start our business and build a brand identity for our company. We started in 2018 as a small, young business in a highly saturated market for the HVAC trade. While our technicians were highly proficient in their trade, we were lacking in design, advertising, and business development. We turned to Vetsweb to outsource our digital marketing campaign.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to be the first-line choice for all our local businesses and residents in our area for all of their HVAC needs. We wanted to organically increase our sales and have sustainable marketing growth for our small business. We were wanting a digital marketing campaign that not only increased our individual brand but solidified our company with the ethics and standards we have! We wanted a user-friendly web design with tangible results.

How did you select this vendor?

As a combat veteran-owned business, we were looking for a veteran-owned company. We reviewed 4 other companies that were within our price point and were able to perform the services we required. After looking at Vetweb's reviews and current clients, it was easy to see this was the company for us.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Our initial conversations with Jason at Vetsweb were primarily focused on digital marketing and increasing our digital presence. Jason was surgical in developing a plan that fit our needs the best. Jason developed an advertising/marketing plan that included creative concepts on web design and increasing/boosting traffic to our website with pay-per-click (PPC) advertising or search engine optimization (SEO).

What was the team composition?

I've worked solely with Jason on our projects. While I am not aware of the size of his team, I know his effectiveness is second to none.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since March 2018 when we launched our business and started using Vetsweb, sales have increased by > 250% and the traffic to lead conversion increased substantially. Organic, sustainable growth has only opened my eyes as a business owner to the potential of my business. My initial goals were surpassed within the first year. Our brand has become a household name in our market and the company has only improved in all aspects.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Jason was our primary contact and was surgical in executing all of our projects/goals. Steady communication and impeccable follow-through made this a seamless union. Jason ensured satisfaction and even facilitated improvement. Going above and beyond when problems arise.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I have worked with Jason at Vetsweb on many different projects to help increase our digital presence. They are professional, create amazing work and produce results. I would highly recommend Vetsweb for any digital marketing need, SEO, PPC, Web Design, etc. They designed and put together our new website, from day one they took our ideas and brought them to reality.

From a digital standpoint, they have managed our SEO and PPC and we have seen a lot of leads coming organically through Google searches and clients seeing our ads. Honest, straightforward and easy process. One thing that really stands out from our engagement is their genuine desire to help us achieve our goals. They are doing an amazing job, starting from the strategy and brainstorming and up to the final design detail.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I feel like timing can always be improved with service-related industries. I will say that the quality provided by Vetsweb far surpasses the original expectations when I began looking for a vendor and would highly recommend Jason and his team!
