My client is in business of interior designing and furniture manufacturing. They were seeking help in term of their work process improvement and optimization.

I consulted them to implement an Odoo ERP, which can be highly customised to their business needs.

I hired uncanny, who helped for the requirement gathering and defining the workflow. Their experience in the manufacturing domain helped me and the end client a lot.

They created the workflow documents and an entire workflow bible which were the basis for the process improvisation.

while the client was also selling the furniture online, Uncanny developed the Shopify store which integrated with the Odoo ERP for seamless business execution. They even helped us by eliminating Quickbooks and we moved to Accounting module of Odoo.

The project was structured into clearly defined phases, which made it easier to manage and monitor progress. Each phase was further broken down into smaller milestones—such as Purchase Workflow, CRM Workflow, Sales, and others—to ensure focused execution and measurable progress.

Weekly email updates and frequent communication played a key role in maintaining transparency and alignment. The team utilized Odoo's Project Management tool, Slack, and WhatsApp for streamlined collaboration. Additionally, they made themselves available during EST morning hours to provide progress updates and actively participate in brainstorming sessions.

The project was led by Jigar, a Scrum-certified Project Manager, who ensured effective execution throughout. His structured approach to project management—covering regular status updates, timely reporting, and clear communication—contributed significantly to the project's success. Overall, the execution was highly satisfactory and well-managed.

We were able to start using Odoo within a month of engagement which has allowed to eliminate numerous manual tasks and outdated excel files which were getting out of hand. The operational efficiency will allow us to handle more volume in our warehouse.
