They say, there is also room for improvement. However, I cannot name anything that I was unsatisfied with.

We were looking for a tech partner to bring our vision of financial services to life. As soon as our scope included mostly ideas, instead of tech documentation or so, it's legit to call it a turnkey project.

The goal was to create a toolset with which our customers could provide installments on their services in the fastest and most comfortable way. So, we had milestones like design, solution architecture, dashboards, APIs, and nice front-end wrapping.

First of all, we got a good reference on UKAD. It was important to know from other Fintech entrepreneurs that this company shares best practices, really cares about security and know-how protection, and has some valuable ideas about the development of such software.

Then, we had some talks with the management and sales, and discovered case studies, to ensure that we are interested in cooperation with UKAD.

This project is about fast and easy installments, primarily for medical services. In the beginning, we were looking for a way to connect clinics and patients with each other providing financing when it's really needed.

As everyone knows, traditional banking processes take too much time, sometimes are quite nervous, and aren't the nicest thing in the world. It's also not sustainable for service providers because they may miss a part of the profits.

So, we decided to make installments comfortable, fast, and easy with our toolset for both sides. Guys from UKAD performed every stage of development. Namely, it was the solution architecture, development of the API, the merchant dashboard, and a mobile-friendly website that interacts with customers.

Obviously, the UKAD team performed quality assurance and supported our release, as well.

As always with Fintech companies, we can't share any valuable info because it's strictly related to our customers' sensitive data. But I can proudly say that Lara already has several well-known partners and all the opportunities to become one of the best financial companies in Brazil.

We worked with Denis, the CEO, as a Project Manager. It was not only pleasant but also very effective, because he is a skilled manager with a deep understanding of the technical aspects.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It seems to be this way of collaboration in which we felt like the guys from UKAD were sitting in the next room. We never had any issue affecting the development flow and always felt powered by top-notch developers.

It was also impressive to see their expertise both in the Fintech area and overall web development. Such skills allowed us to perform every step as planned and avoid any extra spending, and finally create an awesome solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In fact, everyone has room to grow. Talking about UKAD, I believe they can (and actually will) improve their Fintech expertise with more cool products. About expertise, quality of code and communications, they were flawless, I'm totally satisfied by collaboration with UKAD.

We started cooperation with UKAD because of the necessity to onboard more experts to our projects than we have. From time to time, we involved developers, as well as other specialists, from UKAD in our projects to fill gaps in our expertise or use some unique skills in the shortest terms. For FlexMade, it was a better option than hiring, onboarding, and so on, especially for a single project.

Despite the years of collaboration we didn't establish any service frameworks or so, we're quite flexible in resource management and used team augmentation as needed. In most cases, of course, we hired front- and back-end developers but not only them. We also involved DevOps and UI/UX experts from UKAD in FlexMade’s projects.

I can't share any information because as any good software development company, we keep our NDAs. But we appreciate UKAD's contribution to our products and will gladly cooperate in further.

On most projects, we have our internal project management appointed, otherwise the end customers manage the process themselves. Developers from UKAD perfectly joined our workflow and performed as good as our in-house team.

I can't underline any specific points, because our collaboration was both productive and cozy. It was just like our internal team that takes part in all the processes but never drinks our coffee.

UKAD seems to be a perfect partner. Of course, we got some issues during these years, but they didn't have a tangible impact on the workflow, thus I don't want to criticize from this point of view.

There was a Project Manager on the UKAD's side, so the team was almost self-managed. For me, it was very comfortable because most of the technical points were solved immediately and our side could concentrate on the other processes.

The most impressive in UKAD is the fact that cooperation with them was as easy as with a company from Sweden. Security, openness, and transparency aren't spare words for them. But quality and expertise are also a top-grade level.

I am the Founder and CEO of Mimir International. Mimir Test is our platform allowing users to improve results in cognitive tests used in the hiring process. By doing these tests, users improve their chance to pass a job interview successfully and/or improve cognitive ability.

I described the logics, made some sketches and prepared most of the documentation. So, I was looking for somebody to bring this idea to life. To develop a robust website with my design. And make everything work properly.

I've requested the development of the web platform according to my design. The UKAD team performed both front and back end development, built server infrastructure and covered it with tests, as expected.

They also found and implemented several interesting solutions to build great charts with various scores and operate multilingual pages with similar content. Now, we are polishing Mimir Tests with additional products and features while we promote the platform.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The platform launch have made it possible for us to engage with the market and begin our promotion. It is early days yet but the results have been promising despite the on-going crisis.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It wasn't brilliant in the beginning, but I talked to the project manager Oleg and we've changed the communication model. Today everything is okay and I always know what's going on in the project. We have weekly demos and planning running inside the overall master plan which is comfortable for everyone and easy to manage.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

UKAD is very client-oriented. Developers never perform useless work, but always search the way to improve business value. The project manager was open and friendly. I also enjoy the proactive position in planning and management of delivery which built on understanding both business and tech aspects of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can always wish for even faster deliveries, but to be honest I would rather have the right product with superior quality tomorrow than a less than 100% product today.

At first, it was the orientation of the customer's needs. While I'm not a tech-savvy person, for me it was very important to know that developers do only things that are really required. Sadly, I can't share any numbers. But the delivery UKAD performed played a great impact on the whole project. Finally, our end customer was happy!

We had well-established project management on the UKAD side. They offered easy communication, regular demos, transparent pricing, and other best practices were included.
