Our site was stuck in the past, it was clunky, hard to update, and not super friendly for the community we serve. UKAD came in to help us rebuild it without losing what was already working for us. We wanted to stick with WordPress since our team was comfortable with it, but we needed it to do more, like multilingual content, accessibility features, and dynamic layouts.

UKAD basically reworked the whole frontend from scratch using clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and made sure everything looked good and worked well on any device.

The new site is much easier to use! People can find what they need faster and connect with others more easily, which is exactly what we wanted. We hired UKAD to build an internal AI assistant that could help our team search through ISO documents without all the manual effort. The idea was to ask a question in normal language — like “What are the ISO 9001:2015 requirements for internal audits?” — and get a useful answer, fast. They used a RAG-based setup that combines a language model (from OpenAI) with our internal document storage. UKAD handled the full setup: indexing our documents, embedding them into a searchable format, connecting everything securely to our internal system, and designing a simple web interface. It’s all hosted on our own infrastructure, so nothing leaves our environment. The final result was actually easy for our team to use day-to-day.

The most noticeable result was how much time our team started saving. Instead of spending 15–30 minutes searching through documents, they were getting answers in seconds. 
Within the first month, we saw a 40–50% drop in routine document-related requests. It also reduced the back-and-forth between departments, as people could find what they needed on their own.
Another big win was adoption. Nearly everyone on the team started using the assistant without us having to push it or run training. That told us it was really working. It became a part of our daily workflow faster than we expected.

We engaged UKAD to tackle two significant challenges across our healthcare initiatives: the development of a new cross-platform mobile app and the optimization of an existing system.

For the first project, we had a well-defined product concept and finalized designs but needed more resources to develop a cross-platform mobile app using Ionic and related infrastructure. The goal was to create an application for iOS and Android that would help users improve their sleep. 

Additionally, we needed a website to introduce the service, along with an admin panel for experts to monitor and guide user progress. Each part of the system—mobile app, website, and admin panel—catered to different user personas, requiring tailored functionality. Key requirements for the mobile app:

To evaluate this work just install our application on your device and push several buttons. It's a flawlessly developed app that provides a unique trading experience and a new way to interact with music. As well, it is clear, stable, and works with any device we've used to run it, which means high quality of the solution.

UKAD was looking very promising due to its experience on the market, especially in out staffing, and good reviews. One of the points was also UKAD's Microsoft partnership, which means they operate with a more or less similar technology stack thus it should be a comfortable collaboration.

We hired a QA engineer from UKAD to test three applications: one desktop and two web-based. The first one is an application for diabetes clinics allowing fast access to the patient's data for nurses, doctors. It is designed to move all the medical operations and documents to the digital working environment instead of the outdated paper-based approach.

Two projects were the web applications, one for training courses and another one for leave and vacation management. Both are designed to digitise and optimise processes and reduce, even remove paperwork from the routine.

Our management model includes a Project Coordinator role, which was a bit unusual for the sourced engineer. But he successfully dealt with this change and joined the development routine as an in-house person.
