SOLUTION
How did you come to work with this vendor?
We were really struggling with our website’s low conversion rate and felt a bit lost on how to improve. Our main goal for the redesign was to scale our digital marketing efforts, using ads and SEO to drive more leads and revenue directly through our site.
We searched online for a ton of different vendors and interviewed about 6 companies in total. What ultimately drew us to ThrillX was their focus on conversions and using data to make decisions. It felt like a lot of the other vendors we initially spoke with seemed more focused on the look and feel of the site.
While this was still important, we were more concerned about how well the site would perform and if it would actually help us grow. We wanted to be sure that our investment would not only help us expand our advertising efforts quickly but also bring in more revenue right away.
ThrillX made a great impression right from the start, especially during our first chat with Arsh. He introduced us to tools like HotJar and Userbrain, which were completely new to us at the time. Another reassuring aspect was ThrillX’s experience in optimizing conversions for sites with much higher traffic than ours. They were one of the few agencies we contacted who specialized exclusively in both web design services and monthly conversion rate optimization for high-traffic sites.

What was the team composition?
We worked with a Copywriter and Strategist, a Senior UX/UI Designer, and a Developer. We also had direct contact with the CEO which was nice. Everyone on the team was talented and clearly experts in their respective fields.

ThrillX redesigned and developed our website and is also currently helping with our other digital products. They kicked off the project with an in-depth research and discovery phase, conducting multiple Zoom interviews, interactive workshops with our stakeholders, and presentations. This helped them understand our business, industry, customer base, operations, and technical requirements inside and out.
They then dove deep into our existing site, using tools like HotJar and Google Analytics to track and analyze user-behaviour. They even interviewed some of our customers which gave us some really valuable insights. The whole strategy process alone made us feel like we’d already gotten our money’s worth.
From there, the UX/UI designer started creating user personas and mapping out how our different customer segments would journey through our site. The designer then planned our new website’s content and information architecture to match what users were looking for, which eventually translated to wireframes and mock-ups in Figma. These evolved each week as we gave our feedback. Their copywriters also pitched in, helping us craft the messaging on our site.
They rounded things off by developing our website and running QA/testing. Once the site was up, they held a Zoom tutorial on how to edit everything, which saved us the trouble of not having to bother a developer for every little tweak. I really appreciated how smooth and organized the whole process was.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK

This was all just with our existing traffic and before ramping up any sort of marketing, which was a big win for us.
Shortly after that, we decided to launch ads to drive even more traffic to the website. We saw a substantial return on our investment directly attributable to ThrillX’s work. What was most impressive was the quality of leads that we got through the website. The team nailed it by building the site in a way that truly resonated with our target audience.

The communication with ThrillX was phenomenal. At every step of the way, it felt like we were getting the professionalism and expertise of a large corporation, combined with the personal care and attention of a small business.
They were very rigorous about timelines and always met their deliverables. They would provide feedback on items promptly and followed up with reminders for anything that they needed from us, making the whole process feel seamless. I really liked that they never just blindly followed our instructions.
They challenged our ideas when needed and offered valuable insights. It made me feel reassured knowing that they weren’t just passively taking orders but were willing to go the extra mile to collaborate. They genuinely cared about the success of our company, and it showed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their approach to the discovery and strategy phase of the project was really impressive.
I was a bit worried at first because our industry is complex and they hadn't worked in it before. But they assured us that this wouldn’t be an issue given their process, and they definitely came through on that front.
They took the time to learn our industry through multiple discovery calls and workshops. There were even moments where they educated us on our customer base (using the research they conducted), rather than the other way around.
The data-analysis phase of the project was also equally impressive. They analyzed heatmap data to see where users clicked and scrolled, watched recordings of user sessions to understand real-time interactions, and also conducted customer interviews for direct feedback. This led to many strategic decisions.
I feel like their structured process made a big difference in how everything turned out. It wasn't just about making everything look good - they made sure that the end result was highly functional and user-friendly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something ThrillX could have done differently?
Our partnership with ThrillX overall was a great experience. As we neared the end of the project and everything was in development, we had fewer touchpoints which was totally understandable since constant meetings weren't necessary at that stage. Sometimes, however, this made us feel a bit uncertain about what to expect. But it was more because of our past negative experiences with other vendors and not really a reflection on ThrillX at all.
We’re now continuing to work together on our other digital products, which speaks to how much we enjoyed working with them. I’d definitely recommend them to others.
