This included fixing all non-working contact forms, optimizing website performance (such as loading speed and browser compatibility), and ensuring that links shared on social media display the correct featured images and metadata. These expectations were clearly outlined in the contract under Functionality Testing, Cross-Browser Testing, and Performance Optimization, and were essential for both user interaction and content promotion.

I hired this company to redesign my website, with the main goal of fixing the broken contact forms. From the beginning, the project took far longer than promised—what was supposed to be a two-week job dragged on for months. Despite repeated assurances, the most basic functionality still doesn’t work: the contact forms never functioned properly, and links shared on social media display the wrong images, which affects my ability to promote my content.

The contract included testing, functionality checks, and performance optimization, but none of those were actually delivered. Even worse, the project was marked as “complete” without my approval while I was out of the country, making it impossible for me to test the site myself.

Now, I’m being asked to pay extra to fix issues that were supposed to be resolved from the start. This feels like an intentional tactic to leave things unfinished and charge more later. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reliable service, clear communication, or a commitment to quality.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

At the beginning of the project, I was impressed by the team’s professional presentation, organized onboarding process, and clear communication. They seemed experienced and confident, which gave me hope that my concerns—especially fixing the Contact forms—would be resolved. Unfortunately, despite these promising early interactions, the final delivery did not meet the expectations set in the contract, and I was left with unresolved technical issues that directly impact my website’s functionality and purpose.

The cost would have been acceptable if the deliverables were met. But since I cannot use my website as is and I have to pay other company to solve the items unsolved by Techavela I consider a waste of money

Are there any areas for improvement or something Techavela - Your Digital Partner could have done differently?

The company needs to improve their follow-through on contract deliverables, especially regarding functionality testing and final quality assurance. Critical issues—like non-working contact forms and incorrect social media previews—were left unresolved, despite being clearly outlined in the scope of work. Additionally, marking a project as complete without explicit client approval or confirmation that all features are functioning properly undermines trust. More accountability during the post-launch phase and a client-centered approach to project closure would greatly improve their service.
