We first met with the CEO in Kiev. We made a deal on the same day. Our cooperation was carried out according to all rules of a decent service. Since I have no knowledge of the technical side of the issue, it was important for me to get advice from a person I know. It was my friend. I relied on the company and made sure that good and honest people would help to implement any project in the right way. I’ve been working in this area for a long time, so I don’t trust hollow promises. The recommendation of a close friend was very helpful.

Our tandem with IT Master Soft has been a success. The main achievement was the change in the speed of creating new points for entering the network. Our response time to incoming applications decreased dramatically and we became the fastest group. Rapid deployment helped us reach a new level. The decent resource we're using now is thanks to IT Master Soft . The assigned tasks were completed at the high level, and the investments were worth it. We continue to work on architecture and engineering.

The IT Master Soft team consisted of 8 people. The contact person was the project manager. We used Jira and Trello to track work and the speed of task completion. The tools acted as a task manager. A working environment that reflected all aspects of the process allowed us to control the work of each department. Constant calls helped make changes and adjust the created online tasks.

App development is a huge project that takes a lot of effort. I choose honesty so that the problems that arise don’t cause serious inconvenience. IT Master Soft senior executives have maintained my trust by providing the right information at all times. It is difficult to be a remote customer, but cooperation with IT Master Soft made me forget about it.

An appointment of a random manager will never bring the desired result. I need to know who I am working with and who will be responsible for completing my tasks. Compliance with the client's standards is the key to success.

The software development process took much less time than originally expected. We were pleased with high-quality services, the rapid release of the development to production and compliance with the established deadlines. The professional manager did her job perfectly. She explained how the implementation of the functionality is carried out, how many options there will be in the future application.

Everything that the specialist told me once again proved that my choice was correct. The software's widgets are easy to use and have a logical structure. Users will be able to familiarize themselves with them after logging into the application. The team has developed functionality that allows you to contact doctors personally and communicate with them via video link, regardless of the used gadget. IT Master Soft has developed a chat for patients that works at any time of the day.

There, you can seek help from a doctor or make an appointment. Another option of the program is to view the records of communication with your doctor online, as well as their recommendations and methods of treatment. During the development of this application, HIPPA requirements were taken into account.

We did an online research and contacted 4 or 5 outsourcing companies and narrowed it down to IT-Master after the 2nd talk. The onboarding phase was very good and it felt right for us.

We did deliver a current codebase for a web-frontend, the backend and the Smartphone app based on IONIC 5 that was developed for 5 years together with two different teams.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months of work we could deliver the customer with a completely overhauled product that met their (and our own) expectations.

The most important outcome was meeting the more than tight deadline. The app gained traction and was distributed successfully throughout a specific launch-event.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We established an efficient project communication within slack, stand-ups when necessary between the project manager within our team and yours.

Also, we involved our business analysts and your team lead in development and from time to time our team lead and me. It worked efficiently and most of all responsive, so no side that to wait too long for input or decisions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team helped us to improve the product by own initiative and input, we rely on that.

We had the feeling (and the product speaks the same language), that we dealt with professionals, trustworthy processes, and a well-motivated and trained team.

Are there any areas for improvement?

You need to make sure to exactly clarify the rules of engagement and cooperation, and you have to manage expectations also from the customers side and anticipate their workflows. We did not know upfront that we have to pay for estimations, post-deployment.

Also, that there are hard limits on how long the team will be available was something that wasn't clarified upfront. The PM from your side surprised us in that regard a couple of times and that's nothing we want to encounter again.

Also, the way long time code-maintenace will be handled is something where there is room for improvement.

The main thing that IT Master Soft has provided to our business is ongoing development work. Whilst before we'd have huge progress some weeks, and then no development being completed other weeks we now see regular improvements each week. That is impacting our customers in an improved customer journey each week.

The best thing for me using IT Master Soft is the pre-interview process that they have, where candidates are vetted before they come to us. That made the hiring process very easy. The result is that the candidates are highly qualified and suited to the need of our business. We will use IT Master Soft in future as well for team extension services.

The whole project lasted about four weeks. It began in November 2020 and was completed that December.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have a score in the top 10% of Google PageSpeed Insights. We just launched, and we are still applying the final touches, so we haven’t really put it into a live environment yet. From what I have seen, I don’t think there will be any problems attracting visitors to the site.

How did IT Master Soft perform from a project management standpoint?

They do use project management tools within the organization, but our conversations were done via online chat. I didn’t have to go through any online system to submit tickets when I wanted to change something. I prefer to have a person-to-person conversation. We used Telegram to communicate. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were quickly able to understand our requirements and get to work. It was easy communication with them. I had daily conversations with the project manager to go over things. I didn’t have to spend a lot of time preparing the technical requirements for this project, and they helped me a lot with ironing out the details.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t really point to anything where they can improve. They have done great work, and there wasn’t anything that I wasn’t happy with. They are reactive and fast, and they have good technical skills. I have had quite a pleasant experience with them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to focus on the key strengths and give the projects you want to be delivered to people like them, especially if you want to save on cost and have more time to focus on your clients and your business. 

Don’t be afraid to work with an overseas company, especially in Ukraine. They are excellent and have good technical skills.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was a good experience. Unfortunately, we stopped working with them because of coronavirus, among other reasons. The deliverables IT Master Soft created for us worked very well, so we didn’t have any problems.

How did IT Master Soft perform from a project management standpoint?

They did good work and delivered it on time, which was a big plus. We don’t have any complaints, and we’re happy with them overall. We used Skype to communicate with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We worked with the programmers and had the best experience with them because they performed very well and in a timely manner. IT Master Soft was a little more expensive than other programmers, but they were very good so we were willing to pay for quality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The payment methods weren’t always convenient. We had to think of other ways to do it as it was impossible to just pay with a credit card or make a transfer through a payment system. There wasn’t enough flexibility in payment methods; however, it was justified by the good, timely work they did.
