Very easy. StormBrain handled all the requirements, communicated progress and issues proactively, and delivered on time.

The proactive communication. As a nonprofit, we have few employees and are generally staffed by volunteers. StormBrain was cognizant of this model and worked with us to ensure the schedule was met.

With any project, there are three components: time, cost and quality. Inasmuch as everyone wants all three - on time, low cost and high quality, generally you only get 2 out of the 3. For us, we were on time (actually early) and very high quality. And for that, we paid a fair price.

They crafted and managed a variety of PPC campaigns on Google, Facebook and Instagram for us. They started by working to understand our business, customers, goals, etc. and then worked first on marketing materials that would target those ideal customers. They then setup and ran the campaigns, brining us more leads.

There was a main account manager, and then some other analysts and designers, but mostly we worked with the account manager.

We ended up getting a 3X ROAS and are super pleased with that!

I was directed to Storm Brain by several different people and those successful reviews and the explanations of the breath of their knowledge carried a lot of weight! Now I’m a walking advertisement too — so impressed.

I’m not technologically inclined at all, so I’m not going to even pretend to understand the depths of detail they went into. So much went over my head and that’s why I hired them!

I feel lighter and shocked that clients and others are already noticing. I feel more respectable having my online presence together and I’m so happy with the work/results.

Unbelievably communicative and they think of every different angle and customize the entire process to your needs! They ask questions and provide services I didn’t know how to ask for. I felt so taken care of and like they saw my success and their success so we were all fully invested together.

We had a kick-off meeting to describe our goals and timeframes. Web developers worked in building a first draft of the website. Continuous communication between us and them for training, troubleshooting and updates. Website release.

Three people worked with us. One was the web developer (who I have mainly worked with), not sure of the exact position of the other two.

Our website was created 5 years ago when the company was first founded. It operated between two difference domains and we engaged Stormbrain to port all the pages into Shopify and redevelop the entire site.

Our selection committee narrowed the vendor choices down to 5. Stormbrain understood the company message and brand better than its competition.

We hosted a kick-off where Stormbrain walked us through the entire project timeline and each phase of the project. We identified key milestones and performance goals. Stormbrain then provided estimated completion times for each key deliverable and ample time to review each pages wireframe and language. We met regularly to flush out an details and Stormbrain was responsive and embraced each change proactively. We even paused the project for a month for internal reasons and Stormbrain worked with us to build and updated timeline.

Stormbrain had one project manager as the main POC and any problems he could not handle or if we needed more details his superior was always available. Internally there were 4 other resources, besides myself, approving the designs and structure.

I am unable to as I left the company before the project was completed.

We had bi-weekly touchpoints and email check-in weekly or as needed to address and design changes. The team was very responsive and accommodating to answer questions over email or over the phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood the company messaging and style immediately. They also were able to accommodate difficult design demands and bespoke graphics quickly. They were truly able to bring the team's ideas to life on the site.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At the beginning of the project, we should have spent more time clarifying the overall goal of the site. This would have saved us countless hours in the design phase. However, this was not the vendor's fault. The final design is very close to the vendor's original design proposal.

We have gotten positive feedback from prospective new hires as well as clients. Internally, we feel like our new website displays our strongest work and projects well.

Everyone from Storm Brain was very communicative and responded to all of our emails and inquires quickly. There was a clear back and forth on what they needed from us and the expected turnaround times.

We hired Storm Brain for one of our client's SEO and PPC project. They were struggling to get ranked in organic and paid placements, and they came to us for help. We knew Storm Brain had the experience, knoweldge and capability of turning their luck around so we called on them.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I talked to Blake on Zoom for half an hour and he outlined every step they were going to take - from research to implementation. He made it feel like this was his 1000th time doing this (which it probably was) so it gave me the confidence that they would take care of this problem.

First, they provided us with competitor analysis that outlined who the leaders were in our client's market - locally and worldwide. They then researched potential SEO keywords and made a huge list that we could take action on. They help set up our Google Ads campaigns and advised us on best practices, budgets and strategies all along the process. Finally, they delivered all the campaign and we got to review everything before we gave the green light and they took everything live.

Since we implemented those SEO and PPC changes, our clients have finally witnessed what it's like to rank on the first spots on google search and they started getting a huge ROI on their digital ad spend (something that hadn't happened before).
