I’m the president and founder of Clear View Technologies Corporation, a software tech startup.

What challenge were you trying to address with Stoke Ventures?

We needed someone to help us build a mobile app and website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Stoke Ventures designed and developed a prototype for an app and built our website. The team focused on UI/UX design and development, which they utilized to implement 3D avatar modeling and virtual reality environments.

As for the website, they built it from scratch and integrated several features, including a subscription prompt to be part of the app’s waiting list — customers who subscribed will then be contacted and be taken to the App Store, where they can download the app.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact was Andrew (Founder & CEO), but I know he has an extensive team working under him.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested about $3,300.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–June 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Stoke Ventures’ involvement helped us fill in the gaps in our development efforts. They helped us design the wireframes based on our idea and vision, which elevated our company immensely.

As a result, we’ve had a lot of people successfully subscribe to our waiting list without even going to the complete marketing stage — we’ve just been relying on word of mouth.

How did Stoke Ventures perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent from a project management perspective because the team was very communicative throughout the partnership. They contacted me urgently whenever necessary and showed great interest in my ideas and business.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Stoke Ventures is highly skilled, so we were very impressed with the range of services they provided. The relationship we built with them is invaluable, and they understood our vision and were very invested in our success.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The development process was seamless, so there was nothing they needed to improve on.

I’d advise you to be completely open about your idea, vision, and whether your requirements are plausible to avoid wasting time and resources.

I was referred by another company I was working with. I read their reviews online and decided to move forward.

I was most impressed by how accurate the final product came out based on the 3D designs.

Things could always be done faster, but quality is more important and we ended up with a great product.

At the time, we needed help creating a 3D model for a part that was causing challenges with yield.

We saw a significant increase in yield once we were able to implement the part.

Their breadth of knowledge was impressive. They seem to understand the bigger picture of their industry.

I am an executive of the company SwishList, a retail mobile app.

For what projects/services did your company hire Stoke Ventures, and what were your goals?

Our goal was to take an idea for an app and turn it into reality, not quite knowing where to start. Andrew was very helpful in guiding us through the process.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did a lot of research and had a spreadsheet of potential companies to work with for development. Stoke Ventures won out over the others because of their past experience, personalized touch, and multiple avenues of expertise beyond app development.

We started with an idea and came to them with hopes of what it could turn into. Stoke Ventures walked us through the process, starting with a wireframe, to an actual functioning app. The app was developed for iOS systems, using invitations via text, push notifications, creating wishlists, etc.

We worked with Andrew, who was our project manager and lead of development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've had an incredible time working with Andrew and Stoke Ventures. We've worked with several other software companies before on other types of projects, and Stoke Ventures' expertise in web and mobile app development is unparalleled. They're attentive to every detail of how users will interact with our apps which makes things much easier for our sales and customer service teams.

They also set themselves apart by working with us on branding and marketing so that we can deliver products to the right people and get our customers excited to use our products. We couldn't be more pleased to continue our work with Stoke Ventures!

Our project manager Andrew was efficient, calm, and always providing solutions to any potential problems. Picking his brain on various topics was very helpful because we had a lot questions regarding what would be best.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One of the most impressive thing about Stoke Ventures was how personalized the process was. Every time I called, I knew I would reach a real human who was familiar with and working on my project. Communication was beyond what I could have hoped for.

No recommendations for any improvement. We look forward to working with them on future projects!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had reached out to multiple vendors in hopes of finding a good fit for helping make my project happen. Andrew at Stokes was very prompt and professional right away and walked me through the steps I needed to take.

I sent the last of what I had for the discontinued products with trust that they would be handled properly, and the project would be fulfilled. I was very impressed with both the communication and how quickly he provided me results.
