The website builder tool allows any client to build their own site using this tool — they don’t have to hire a developer or designer to build their website. They have to go create an account, and then the user can choose a template.

We provided Stark Edge with the colors and images, and everything else was done by them. In addition, they did UI/UX design, logo design, and then they helped us with front- and backend development — I think they used Java for the development of the product.

There was a team of 10–12 members and I mostly dealt with the project manager. If there were any doubts or confusion, the designers and developers got together so could have meetings with them.

I did some research on Google. We came across 2–3 companies, had interviews with them, and then we selected Stark Edge.

We spent around $45,000 on this project.

It started in December 2020, and the work ended in June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a really great job in developing and designing the website builder, and the quality was good. We found some bugs after doing some testing, but they fixed them in a timely manner, and I was really happy with the way that they did the work. They gave us two months of assistance as well, so if there are any bugs that appear, they will take care of them without any extra charge.

From a project management standpoint, they were very punctual and they did the work according to the timelines. We usually communicated over Skype, phone calls, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was happy with their work and I would work with them again. They did a very good job, and I was really happy with their dedication to their work. They even worked on Saturdays if I needed any help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Whenever we need to have a meeting, they should be available at that time otherwise it can have a negative impact. They did a good job when it came to testing, and their developers and designers are very good.

You should communicate with them. Have an interview with them and you will get to know that they’re very good at what they do — which is why you should hire them.

The company offered clothing customizations, so Stark Edge's team built a custom plug-in to accommodate that. Additionally, they help us with our SEO and PPC efforts. We've initially tasked them with compiling an audit report and a complimentary report with potential SEO keywords to choose from. Upon choosing 40 keywords from the list, StarkEdge has handled onsite SEO.

Stark Edge currently handles our paid SEO, SEM, and PPC efforts. They're also in charge of running our daily ads.

We provided them with two different websites for SEO and PPC, and our organic traffic rate has increased by 40%. Apart from that, we've also rewarded the client with a higher sales rate. He was also happy with the web design and mockups generated by Stark Edge for his Shopify platform.

We communicated via WhatsApp and Skype, while we relied on Jira and Github for project management. Stark Edge is keen on meeting deadlines and responding to our questions and requests. Our client specifically liked the pitches they produced when we kicked off the engagement, and they also produce daily reports to guide us throughout the process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Stark Edge designed and developed a web and mobile app for iOS and Android. Additionally, the team handled the UI/UX design and the testing phase. The app is for a courier service. It allows users to create profiles and set up deliveries. They only have to enter the name and address of the recipient along with a rough estimate of the package’s weight. A nearby driver will then come to weigh the package and let the user know the exact price. After the fees are paid, the driver delivers the package and takes a picture as proof.

We worked with around eight people, including the project manager. We had calls with the designers and developers as needed.

Stark Edge did an excellent job of delivering the web and mobile apps. We did some testing, too, and when we found minor bugs and errors, they quickly took care of it.

They were very punctual and followed the estimated time they gave us. The team also stayed within the cost estimate. The communication was great, too — we talked over the phone and Skype, and we chatted with them daily. Whenever there was any confusion, we gave them a call.

The app allowed users to get on-demand cab services and track their location. There was also a geo-tracking functionality that permitted users to check the price and book the cab.

We’ll go live in 2–3 weeks, but If there are any issues or bugs in the next two months, Stark Edge will help solve them without any extra fee.

Stark Edge was able to deliver the mobile and web applications successfully. They were able to QA the products properly, and after we had done our own internal testing, we found that both the web and mobile apps were working fine. Overall, we were very happy with the end product.

How did Stark Edge perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good at meeting deadlines. We were in direct communications with the project manager exclusively, so we didn’t interact with the developers and designers. The project manager was the one who gave the directions and oversaw the development — which went pretty smoothly. We talked mostly through Skype, emails, and phone calls.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Like I mentioned, we only had direct contact with the project manager. It would’ve been nice to be allowed to talk to the developers and have a more hands-on approach to the project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Stark Edge helped us develop a web app platform on Shopify to offer a virtual fitting room. The app uses AR to find the image of the item on the customer's body and give them a realistic presentation of how it'd look on them — users can select the item they want to try on and adjust their size to measurements. 

The other task they took care of was making a body management tracking feature within the application. We wanted to track customers' body management and use it to find their profiles to allow users to quickly select the right size for the items they want to try on. 

We also included the feature of social sharing to help our customers get feedback on their selections and make informed purchasing decisions. The app also allows users to add items they want to try on and purchase in the future. This will help us keep track of customers' preferences and make recommendations based on their selections.
