We engaged Solveit to design, build, and launch the MVP of our v2b platform, which includes both a mobile application and an accompanying web-based admin portal. Their scope covered end-to-end product delivery: requirements refinement, UX/UI design, technical architecture, development, testing, and deployment.

On the mobile side, they delivered an iOS and Android app that enables users to register and log in, view a continuous video feed, like and comment on videos, upload videos from their device, add captions and tags, and search for content. They also implemented basic profile functionality (viewing and managing one’s own videos and notifications) and core engagement features like reporting content and tracking views. As part of the engagement, they handled most of the publishing process for the iOS app in the Apple App Store (using an unlisted distribution model) and provided an installable Android file (APK) for internal distribution.

For the web, they built an admin portal that allows our internal team to manage users, moderate reported videos and comments, review and approve or reject submitted content, and see high-level video engagement (likes, views, etc.). They also created the initial design system and UI components for both the mobile app and the admin panel, and helped us translate our conceptual product vision into a clear set of implementation-ready requirements and user flows.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The primary measure of success for this engagement was getting a functional MVP into the hands of our employees, and they delivered on that. They shipped the first version of the v2b iOS app to the Apple App Store (via unlisted distribution) and provided an Android build, which allowed us to roll out an internal pilot across the company. We were able to complete our initial launch.

From a product perspective, the features they delivered—video upload, feed consumption, likes/comments, search, user profiles, and admin moderation—worked overall as expected and gave us what we needed to test the core value proposition.

Their project management was solid and responsive to our needs. They organized the work into phases and milestones, and kept us updated through regular check-ins. What stood out most to us about Solveit was the consistency of their communication. We didn’t encounter any major issues or clear areas where they fell short. More general to working with any outsourced development partner, it’s important to be extremely clear and detailed about requirements and priorities up front, and to keep validating assumptions as you go. We wanted to create a website for our brand SwedishCandy.com to sell direct to consumer. We gave the Solveit team our scope which was based on some of our competetion and what we currently had at that time. We gave them further guildelines on colors and fonts. 
The team presented everything to us in a couple of days time and it was truly amazing what they had to show. They also gave us multiple variants to choose from in terms of fonts, photos and icons. Sometimes we could even ask them to find something in between one and another font and they would create it for us. 

We worked in Figma which was very streamlined, the team responeded to our comments very quickly and delivered very well. They would present different segment of the website, we left feedback and they would revise it until we were happy. 

The key delivereables was the design for the e-commerce website that we later programmed into Shopify. They also delivered on some key brand guidelines such as colors, fonts and photos.

We have a website that we are very happy with. I think the team successfully delivered across the board for a beautiful converting e-commerce store.

I was very impressed by their designer Tatiana, she was very quick on both communication and delivery. Overall I think the company had a good grasp of what we were trying to do and translated that into the design of the website which I appreciate as a customer. Overall I'm very happy with them. Would be good to have some tips and tricks for making the store more conversion-focused.
