Solcoders team has amazing skills with Wordpress and Shopify. We have done 10+ projects with them, we would confidently refer their team to anyone. They are very fast, stay within budget constraints, and have fantastic attention to detail.

The UI and UX of the projects they delivered was amazing.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the director of Online VAT Services LTD, a financial services company. We assist online sellers with IOSS registration and filing services, and we develop technology to help us do that.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SolCoders?

We needed help creating a Shopify app that would collect sales and refund data from Shopify websites and apply VAT calculations to that data.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of work performed?

SolCoders developed a user-friendly app that fetches all transactional data, including currency, destination country of shipment, discounts, and gross amount collected per order from the customer. The app allows date range selection of data and enables users to download it as JSON or CSV through an easy-to-use admin portal. The team also implemented an API to collect Shopify client data.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two teammates from SolCoders.

How did you come to work with SolCoders?

We found SolCoders through an online search. We chose them over other options because they had past experience developing Shopify apps.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with SolCoders from June 2023–February 2024 for version one of the app. We are currently working with them on version two, which started in September 2024, and this engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have a live Shopify app and have received customer feedback about using the app. Customers now save time because they don’t need to manually collect data and share it with us. This has made our company more efficient.

How did SolCoders perform from a project management standpoint?

SolCoders was responsive and did their work diligently. We communicated via WhatsApp and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

There are few developers who understand the Shopify ecosystem and environment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could spend more time on planning and architecture.
