1. Their intake experience is fine-tuned to be fully on-rails. It never feels confusing. Steps of the process are outlined, and some of those steps have transformed how we do business. As a result, we know ourselves and the customers we want to reach better.

2. Caleb (specifically) and his team have been adaptable as we share ideas and tweak our campaign. They have been totally responsive and provided great feedback as we experiment.

Anyone can buy inboxes and blast emails. SocialBloom is more of a strategy machine. It feels like a focused funnel, not a dark hallway.

If you’re on the fence, be realistic about what is and isn’t working within your business now. If you know how to build a foundation or you work with a brand strategy company who can, SocialBloom is completely capable of amplifying your efforts with great leads.

We hired Social Bloom to help generate sales-qualified leads (SQLs) for fall trade shows, specifically targeting companies in the robotics and automation space with larger booth footprints (20x20 and above). The key deliverables were scheduled meetings with SQLs.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Despite assurances during the sales process that leads would be well-vetted, targeted, and qualified according to our criteria, nearly every meeting booked was a complete mismatch—companies that didn’t exhibit at U.S. trade shows, had no budget, were winding down their event participation, or had tiny 10x10 spaces we don’t service. We had to sift through and decline lead after lead ourselves, which defeated the purpose of hiring them in the first place. We provided detailed target lists and show data. We were clear about the goals and standards. Still, the results were underwhelming, the process frustrating, and the return on investment nonexistent.

We ultimately had to request a refund for undelivered services and sever the relationship. Social Bloom may have good intentions, but their quality control, process discipline, and client communication fell far short of what they promised—and what any professional team should expect.

Worse, their communication and internal tracking were abysmal. No follow-up, no lead analysis, no updates on SQL progress. We had to chase them down just to get basic campaign metrics and ended up compiling the lead breakdown ourselves because no one from their team thought to ask how the meetings went or whether the leads were qualified. The post-sale experience felt completely unmonitored.

They claimed we had received 7 SQLs. By any objective measure, only 2 of those were valid. The rest were irrelevant. When we asked for transparency, we were met with vague justifications and shifting goalposts. Meanwhile, we burned through the most critical timing window of our sales cycle with almost nothing to show for it.

For clarity to readers: We booked and qualified meetings based on the ICP Matrix that both parties agreed to (target segment, fit criteria, and qualification standards).

That ICP was not limited to “20x20+ booth size” as a single gating requirement. Qualification was based on overall fit and services alignment (including needs that match the capabilities outlined on your website).
