How much information and general education they provided to our team outside of the typical workflow. This helped us to develop an internal understanding of best lead gen practices. Also very responsive generally to any of our requests which we appreciate.

My only suggestion is to focus on converting more leads to demos. The leads were the challenging part, I would suggest more follow up to convert them to demos.

We used SocialBloom to help us bootstrap our FCR emailing process; they created two series and six emails for us. They also set up a domain for us to do the emailing from and automated the email-sending processes.

To start the process, we had onboarding calls to figure out the ITP, what market we were going after, and which buyers we were targeting — we got them up to speed on our business so they could do their work. We also talked through how we’d manage the relationship in an ongoing fashion, ensured that we had the right points of contact, and had a process for handing off leads that came in through SocialBloom to our sales team.

It was very time-saving for us that we didn't have to do the domain and the emails ourselves — that alone justified the investment. Additionally, we brought in about 25 leads, and half of those would be meetings, and the other half were ones to follow up.

Project management was very solid. Regarding tools, we worked mostly using Google Sheets and Slack. Overall, they were responsive.

They’re easy to work with and knowledgeable of the space and the technology. They also followed through on what they said they were going to do.

They could have more clarity in explaining the results we could expect and what we need to improve.

First we went through a discovery phase where our business goals were discussed and our value propositions were identified. SocialBloom team then developed a drip campaign strategy along with the content for email sequences. SocialBloom used very specialized set of tools for this form of campaign. Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We started off with a blank slate and SocialBloom's experience helped us shape the message and conduct an informal A/B test to determine audience response. All the performance metrics have been trending in a positive direction including open rate and click through rate. Our most important criteria has been customer response to our email and appointment setting.

Since our campaign started in Dec 2021, we have had a atleast one prospect per week responding. Since its still early in the process and we are in enterprise B2B market with an AOV in 5 figures, trends are more important than actual number at this point. However our goal is to have an average of 3-4 appointments per week over the next 12 weeks.

We use Slack for all our communications and its pretty quick and easy

The most impressive quality of the team is their ability to take technical jargon and convert them into a business friendly email copy. They are honest and transparent about what's working and what's not. We have come to trust them.

We would like them to integrate with our Hubspot CRM

We did not want our emails to look like advertising, but as personal emails to the recipients. Caleb and his team were very knowledgeable and set up a powerful email platform for us.

The sending schedule is throttled so that the emails are actually delivered and not flagged as spam and timed to bring in results. There's an art to successful email campaigns, and Caleb is an expert at it. The open and response rates are very high and we are very happy with the results. Caleb truly understands our business and our objectives. We have several campaigns in the queue and rely on Caleb to pull in the inquiries.

We considered a number of email marketing firms. The deciding factor was when Caleb (the owner) said that mass email campaigns simply don't work.

Social Bloom offers a start-to-finish email marketing service which includes setting up the emailing platform, copywriting, scheduling, timed launch and responding to inquiries. In our situation, we did not need all of the services. Social Bloom customized the service to fit our needs and budget.

One main contact and two support staff members who report to us on the progress and outcome of the ongoing campaigns.

We had a high number of positive responses, but the biggest success is that we now have a way to communicate and stay engaged with the customers.

The workflow has been seamless. We communicate on Slack and Social Bloom has been proactive in keeping the work moving forward.

They were very flexible and understanding to develop a customized program that works to meet our specific needs.

No, I can't think of anything they could have done differently. It's par for the course to take some time in the beginning to get to know each other's procedures and style and that period was actually pretty short.

This was integrated with our Mixmax calendar so whenever there was a warm lead it automatically separated time in our calendar for videocall. They send weekly reports to measure all progress.

These lead-gen campaigns were very successful. We are still getting new customers to sign for our PPC bidding program.

Social Bloom assisted us with our cold email outreach campaign and made our outbound lead generation more structured. Our target audience's woes and interests were leveraged in creating messages, reviewing ICP matrix, and developing numerous email campaigns. 

In the early campaign stages, various targeting and messaging techniques were tested, and the outreach was adjusted according to the quality of engagement and response. They conducted campaign development, ICP-based prospect targeting, cold email copy, outreach testing, response management, lead qualification, and ongoing campaign optimization.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were tangible results from the campaign in the first few months. We received around 100 responses, 20 booked conversations and eight prospects moved into follow-up. Social bloom generated over 10 qualified leads. Specifically, 6 of those leads were very interesting in terms of our business and target customer. We did not see the booking rate go down – it remained around 20% and prospects entering the pipeline also kept improving in quality and relevance.

These results gave us a more consistent source of qualified sales conversations and reduced the amount of time our internal team needed to spend on initial prospecting.

During the campaign, Social Bloom kept in regular contact and was willing to toss around adjustments to targeting, messaging, and prospect quality. The campaign began with a testing and calibration phase that improved both teams’ understanding of which messages and audience segments generated the most relevant responses. When we received sufficient feedback from the first outreach activity, they made adaptations to the messaging and targeting. The communication was smoothed and open to feedback at all times during the engagement. As the campaign evolved, the process became more consistent due to better alignment with our ICP for outreach.

What stood out immediately was the fact that they were willing to take the time to understand what is unique and different about our target market rather than a generic outreach. The messaging was relevant and clear, connecting the campaign to the challenges faced by our target audience, our team focused on it. They were furthermore inclined to experiment with and refine the approach based on campaign feedback. As a result, the engagement became more collaborative and contributed to the improvement of the quality of the prospects, rather than the quantity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Social Bloom could have done differently?

The campaign underwent an initial test and adjusted period where the messaging and targeting got aligned with our audience. I think that’s fair when it comes to outbound lead generation, so companies should expect some calibration to occur at the early stages instead of consistency instantly from the outset. Improved alignment on ICP, VP and messaging before launch could take some of the testing time out of the early days. However, when those areas became clearer, the campaign became more focused and the quality of the opportunities improved.
