Please describe your company and your position there.

I work at one of the division of a travel arrangements company. I am the Director of People Operations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Simpalm, and what were your goals?

We have several assets and equipments that we move between multiple locations and it was becoming hard to track all of them.We decided to build a mobile and web platform to track this.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew Simpalm through a referral and reached out to them to get the proposal. I had two other proposal. We found their proposal, team and price to be the best and selected them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They did the UIUX design, developed iOS App, Android App, Web Interface and Backend API. They used react native for mobile apps.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had a project manager, one designer, 4 software developers and a QA.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We launched the platform 6 months ago and now it is being used by 300 of our employees. It has solved the problem of tracking assets.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Their project managers were based in USA, one of them was very familiar with the skiing business so it made easier to communicate our requirements. They used Jira, Email and Zoom for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very detail-oriented in the discovery and design process. They conducted several sessions with our stakeholders and created a design that covers all user flows and requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can not think of any right now, if they had a PM in Colorado, that would have been great.

Bamboo Rewards is a loyalty rewards program. Simpalm worked with Bamboo LLC to create an application used by clients and customers. The project included development of a web app and two ipad apps. The web app is used by store owners for creating promotions to send to loyal customers. The ipad apps are found at gaming cafes and other gaming locations. One ipad app is for customers to check in and see their available rewards. The other ipad app is for location attendants and employees to manage customer profiles. The apps work together to create a seamless process and great experience for business owners to send promotions and for customers to enjoy playing.
Bamboo Rewards apps have the following features:

### Midwest Evaluation & Research Mobile And Web App
MER needed a way to stay in touch with the participants in their projects. The surveys they send to the participants can be months apart, which makes it difficult to reach participants who may have changed their contact information in that time. The follow-up surveys are very important to the research projects, so there was a need for a better way to ensure extended contact with the participants. MER had previously developed an app to solve this problem, but the challenge persisted.
We worked with the MER team to create a new app from scratch that could suit their current needs as well as scale up to accommodate hundreds of projects with thousands of participants. We came up with two platforms: a mobile app for participants to create a profile where they can update their contact information and access their surveys, and a web application that lets the client manage the projects and send surveys and notifications to participants through the app.

### Safety Tracking App
Toreachout was created to provide children and teenagers with a resource to rapidly alert and communicate with their parents and/or guardians in the case of an emergency. The client recognized that children today face a wide range of potentially dangerous situations; ranging from threats of physical harm and violence, to instances of severe psychological and emotional distress. To address this, the client wanted to find a solution that would not only connect children and teenagers with the adults responsible for them.
Simpalm collaborated with the client to design and develop an application that would satisfy both of the client’s goals by incorporating two interfaces; one for parents/guardians and the other for children. The parent interface allows adults to see their child’s location and receive alert notifications and messages. The child interface lets users send alerts directly to their parents’ account in the case of a potential or actual emergency.

Paydent is a service that eases the way uninsured patients interact with dental care professionals. The platform brings Dentist and Patient together to lower the dental cost and deliver better dental care. The user interface for the patients and dental professionals run on web browsers which allows patients to establish an account with Paydent. The patient makes regular deposits to the account via credit card payments or ACH. Once the balance reaches a sufficient level, the application allows the patient to use the funds in the account for dental care with any participating dental professionals shown in the application.

### Satellite Communication App
Simpalm partnered with a Satellite Communication Company based in Northern Virginia  to develop a mobile app user interface for their handheld sat comms device. The app connects with the sat comms device via Bluetooth. The user can control the sat comms device by sending commands triggered from the app. With this functionality users can send and retrieve information. An app was developed for both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.

WellMom app by APGO is designed and developed to Manage Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy (NVP). This is the first and only app designed to educate academic and practicing physicians, medical students, residents and mothers-to-be on the causes and treatments of NVP. Simpalm worked with Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) to develop this app for iOS and Android platform.

Simpalm designed and developed an App that lets people buy and sell anything they wish on the go. This is a two-face App one for sellers and another for buyers. Sellers can snap a photo, write a description of the product, choose a category, and post it for free to go for sale. Buyers on the other end can browse the categories, sort, and filter, and search for the products they want in their locale. Once they like the product they can send an offer and start chatting with the seller to come upon an agreement.
