We asked for native apps that add value, not parity. Sidekick ran joint scoping with our PMs and architects. They mapped user journeys, picked mobile-first jobs, and cut the rest. Deliverables included UX flows, Figma files, and a prioritized backlog with acceptance criteria. They built native iOS and Android apps with secure auth, push notifications, quick actions, and offline reads where needed. They added analytics, crash reporting, CI/CD, and store-ready builds for TestFlight and internal Play. Handoff included source code, release notes, QA results, and a clear runbook.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The apps released on schedule. Early stability is strong with over 99 percent crash-free sessions. Onboarding completes fast with no support spikes. Mobile touch points now cover the top tasks our users perform away from a desk. We will track feature adoption and retention as usage grows.

On time. Low noise. Weekly checkpoints. Sprint demos with working software. Risks raised early with options and trade-offs. Great communication.

They reduce cognitive load. They cut features that do not belong on phones and defend that decision. The quality stays high while moving fast. They understood interface contracts and stayed inside guardrails.

Cost landed on the high side compared to other bids. Output quality and speed matched the price.

Our founders reported using the frameworks to refine their MVPs to create meaningful impact for their customers. They found the Kano Model presented by Sidekick Interactive as a valuable tool. The founders reported more streamlined MVPs with a greater focus on core features.

Sidekick Interactive led discovery workshops focused on orthotics scanning workflows, then designed and built native iOS apps in Swift that leverage LiDAR/TrueDepth/Structure Sensor inputs to capture high-quality 3D models. Deliverables included guided scan UX, mesh generation and cleanup with STL/OBJ export, secure data handling options, integrations with client APIs, analytics, and TestFlight distribution. Sidekick also partnered with us in client consultations and presales to align capabilities with business goals and ensure realistic timelines.

Key features of the solution include:

• Secure patient data entry compliant with healthcare guidelines.
• A real-time dashboard for clinicians.
• Integration with our existing back-end system.
• A mobile interface that is simple enough for non-technical staff to adopt quickly.
• In terms of technology, they used Figma, Swift, Kotlin, and Azure. Their team continues to provide ongoing maintenance and updates.

They integrated seamlessly into our workflows, adopting our Agile methodology. We had 2-week sprints, clear documentation, and great responsiveness. They often delivered faster than expected and always aligned with deadlines. We used Jira, Confluence, and Zoom to manage everything.

Sidekick Interactive wasn’t just executing tasks. They consistently suggested creative design improvements and offered technical solutions that we hadn’t considered. Their team felt like a real extension of ours rather than an external agency.

A more robust end-to-end QA process before delivery would save us some internal testing time, though overall their responsiveness in fixing small issues was excellent.
