1. Architectural approach: Jamstack (https://jamstack.plus) 

2. Headless CMS: Strapi (for content). 

3. Collection types in Strapi should be optimized for website content. 

4. There should be a preview of the change before the site goes live. 

5. Strapi can also be used to store user information for scenarios where we need to ask for user. data on the website e.g. hiring etc. 

6. Database for Strapi: PostgreSQL (AWS RDS). 5. Site generation: Next.js 6. Programming: JavaScript 

7. Hosting: AWS (with CDN for seamless content distribution) in Stockholm to be safe on GDPR. 

8. Assets: AWS S3 (for visual and video assets) 

10. SEO optimised (technically, SSG or Static Site Generation using the Jamstack architectural pattern is most optimised for SEO). 

11. Deployment and DevOps: 

11.1 The infrastructure should be in a VPC to avoid external direct access to the website infrastructure. 

11. 2. The DevOps should be automated e.g. using a Jenkins pipeline to ensure automatic build when the preview website is ready to go live. 

11.3. Dynamic content/database operations etc.: Whilst SSG is a great pattern for static websites. We may have to switch to standard React/Node pattern (with PostgreSQL) for any dynamic content.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Headless CMS that allowed us the flexibility to change UI quickly and completely. 
• Minor changes to timelines even though the scope changed quite a bit. 
• Considerable improvement in website performance in terms of speed and SEO.

1 person was assigned to manage all communication from their side. This person was good at communication and understood the marketing assignments, and was a good bridge between development and marketing. Harish–CEO of Setoo– was regularly part of crucial meetings and helped us find technology solutions even though some of it meant extra work on their side. I found them good at managing work remotely although we met twice in person during the project.

They are fast, responsive, grounded, and spend some time understanding the requirements and scope. I found that this made them more like partners than vendors in due course.

They handled the entire scope, from design and front-end development to integrating AI technology, all while aligning with our business goals and ensuring a smooth user experience. Their key deliverables included a fully designed and interactive front end, complete with intelligent AI features that added significant value to the user experience. Setoo’s expertise ensured the app was fully deployable and production-ready, giving us a solution we could confidently launch.

Overall, Setoo delivered a high-quality product that exceeded our expectations. Their ability to manage the project end-to-end, paired with their dedication to accommodating our needs across time zones, made a remarkable impact on the success of our project.

Upon our initial launch, we attracted over 150 users on the very first day, with overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the app’s design, functionality, and overall user experience. This strong start validated the quality of Setoo’s work and their understanding of our target audience.

Since then, the user base has grown significantly, reaching thousands of active users. This impressive growth reflects not only the robustness and appeal of the app but also Setoo’s attention to detail and their strategic approach to development. Thanks to their efforts, our app has quickly established a strong presence and continues to gain traction, proving the success of Setoo’s work on the project. This has allowed us to move forward to meeting investors needs as well.

Setoo managed the project incredibly well from start to finish. They consistently delivered everything on time, hitting every deadline while keeping quality top-notch. They were proactive in their communication, so I always knew what was happening, and if something needed adjusting, they were quick to discuss it and adapt.

They were also very responsive to my needs, making sure they adjusted priorities or features as the project evolved. What really stood out was their problem-solving approach—they handled any technical issues efficiently, keeping us on track without delays. While they did a fantastic job meeting all current requirements, having a bit more guidance on how to expand or evolve the app beyond the initial launch could add extra value. This forward-looking approach could be beneficial, especially as the user base continues to grow. That said, their work on the project was impressive, everything achieved based on my requirements was achieved, and this suggestion is simply a way to build on an already successful foundation.
