Development and support for various custom applications some utilizing ESRI for current weather, geological, and fire events injested into our portal. Supporting the applications and maintaining against vulnerbilities, performing upgrades and regular maintenance.

What challenge were you trying to address with Seisan?

We needed help creating a VR app for one of our biggest campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Seisan created a VR app for our global events. They developed the app for Vision Pro headsets. During the process, we had multiple meetings where we gave them feedback on the app. They initially created a basic app, and then we added features to it, so there were two big rounds of development for it. From there, they built a full demo of the app on the VR headsets using the assets we provided, such as a storyboard, illustration, and artwork.

We had three main points of contact, including Charles (President) and John (Project Manager). We also worked with their development team.

I found Seisan via Google.

We spent around $15,000–$20,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from February–July 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We used the VR headset and app in almost every big event. Over a few hundred people tried them, and the app helped us differentiate our brand, allowing us to break into the innovative VR world. Overall, this project was successful, and we’ll develop it in the future. 

How did Seisan perform from a project management standpoint?

Seisan was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. As a result, we collaborated super easily. Their team worked around the clock to make things happen, so we had a 10/10 experience with them. To communicate, we used Slack, email, and weekly Zoom calls. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Charles and the development team were great. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and ability to execute a complicated demonstration and storyboard into a seamless interaction were impressive. The project should’ve taken six months to complete, but they did it in two months. They were super attentive and created something fast and of high quality. Overall, we were impressed by their creativity; they executed the project quickly and created guidelines to ensure the app worked well. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a storyboard, and get the assets ready for Seisan. This makes the process faster.

My company was looking for an exciting and innovative way to let customers experience a visit to our factory. We were launching a cross country mobile showroom tour, that will stop at our distributors to showcase our products and train HVAC contractors.

One thing that was missing from this mobile showroom tour that customers experince when visiting our headquarters, was a factory tour. Seeing how our product is made is a highlight for our customers and really speaks to the qaulity and engineering of our product.

However, we have very proprietary machinary and techniques and did not want this to be a "boring" video nobody would engage with or introduce the opportunity for competitors to take pictures of. That's when the thought of Virtual Reality crossed our minds.

We connected with John at Seisan, and he really helped us bring this experiantial idea to life. The Seisan team really made us think critcally about what we were trying to accomplish, develop a plan, and elevate the project by gamifying the tour. The tour was no longer a walk through a factory with a voice telling you about the process, but a chance for the user to "make" our product at different machines and run them.

We sent them a videos and pictures of our machines and factory to start the design. I was blown away with how detailed and realistic Seisan was able to make everything look. It looked exactly like our factory and they even incorporated ambient background noise. If we had any changes or requests to the porject, they were adjusted or added with ease.

I can't say enough how pleased we are with the results and our customers love it too. The team was extremely easy to work with and helped us stay on task to meet our deadline. I would highly reccomend using Seisan to anyone looking to utilize VR in their business for training and customer experiences.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

When we introudeced the VR aspect to our mobile showroom experience, our employees, sales team, and customers were amazed and excited to use it. I think some of the best outcomes for this project have been the ability to communicate and train our customers on our product and build a closer realtionship to them through this.

We are a global company, and will be rolling this out across our regions for our sales managers that are not able to bring customers to our factory and see how our product is made, so they are able to tell and share the same experince our customers in the US have. It has also been a cool way to introduce fun technology to the HVAC industry, that many are not utilizing yet.

The project management team was very attentive to our project, demands, and timeline. I told them I was looking for someone to keep me on task and not slow down our progess, and they did exactly that. It was amazing to me the vision I painted for them was exactly replicated.

I spent time explaining how I wanted this experience to be utlized and they were able to make what was in my mind come to life. At no point was I disappointed in what advice or piece they presented to me. I had no idea about anything VR, had never used it myself, and they made the process very easy to understand.

We have an ongoing relationship with Seisan.   We originally hired Seisan to develop a complex GPS AP that was supported in both the Apple and Google worlds.  This project evolved into developing custom gateways to a number of API's including a very sophisticated IVR application utilizing Twilio.

We bring Seisan in to work on everything from web page development, application development, text messaging applications,  and general trouble shooting.  Seisan has proven to be an invaluable resource, as we find our industry continually rasing the bar in all aspects of our business model.

• Consistant double digit revenue growth the entire time we have worked with Seisan.

Seisan delivers all project work in a timely manner.  Seisan has always been extremely responsive.  We are a 24/7 busness.   Seisan understands this, and will work odd hours when the task at hand demands this type of support.   There is a genuine sense of urgency with Seisan that is difficlut to find in today's markeplakce.

We're impressed with how quickly Seisan gets in sync with what we're trying to accomplish. Seisan's  communications skills are remarkable. This makes complex projects infinitely easier to accomplish.

I’m the software development manager for a large theater company with a couple of locations. We also do other media entertainment, like film and television.

We needed help with Angular web development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with Seisan on a couple of different projects, mainly focusing on the platform that we use to sell tickets. The other platform was an internal communication site. We initially led the discovery phase and guided them on the technology we were looking for. Also, we gave our sign-off before we returned any results to the stakeholders.

The website was built from scratch, and it allowed to apply for jobs and buy tickets. It also removed some login features and had an e-commerce part to buy items.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a senior developer, a junior developer, and an account manager.

How did you come to work with Seisan?

We found them through a Google search. Since it was our first time working with an outside contractor, we liked that they were close by and we could meet face-to-face with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $400,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership lasted from July 2017–.February 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The success was just that the new site was in parity with the old one. From a technical standpoint, we don't have success metrics yet.

How did Seisan perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management wasn't ideal. They got across the finish line, but we had to have a lot of help at the end. It got a little messy because they initially did a flat rate. They didn't realize the complexity of the job, so we had a lot of back and forth to renegotiate some of the work, which caused a lot of strain on the communication.

They used Basecamp for project management, and we communicated via phone calls and in-person meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very flexible. Also, they had many people on their team with a lot of exposure to different kinds of technology.

Are there any areas they could improve

They were overconfident about their expertise in technology.

Follow up with references and make sure you have a dedicated internal project manager.
