We are working on improving the purchasing processes and warehouse stock reception. We want to integrate automatic communications so that the supplier and the purchasing team is informed of all the events.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have devided the project in several milestones. We are working with the developer in an hourly basis. The developer has done a good job reporting the hours and advances in a timely and proper fashion

We use WhatsApp as the main communication tool, and we create the tasks and documents in our Bitrix24 intranet. The project management has been good, and the account manager is timely in communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That even though we have different time zones, the team is always available for our time zone

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The developer could be more specific on the tasks they are working on and be more descriptive on the advances

We have several customers in our main portfolio service with Oracle JD Edwards, and many times we have to outsourcing developments or some technical supports.

Since 2018 we make a partnership with Sedulous Tech to be our first option for some projects when we are out of resources. Currently they helping us not only in CNC task but developments too. Precisely in 2019 we need to assing them a JD Edwards development project almost entirely, and Seoulous showed commitment and eficiency to resolve the asigned task

The comunications should be improve to expand the support in other countries (like mine) with a spanish translator or consultants with multiple languages experties.

We started working together in April 2019, and the work is ongoing.

They did a good job. Some jobs needed extra involvement on our IT end but we’re highly satisfied and continuing to work with them.

How did Sedulous Tech Solutions LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very organized and informative. Any requests go through the whole team,  and they get engaged on it immediately to solve it quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m a demanding person, always wanting more from contractors. I keep asking them, and they keep delivering.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One of the biggest burdens was having a time zone difference and not being in the same location. I can’t help it though because the IT industry is being done remotely these days.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If anyone wants to implement an ERP and get support, I recommend them. I tried similar implementers, and Sedulous Tech Solutions was the best.

My position is the CEO for a consulting services company in Latinamerica in charge of all strategic decisions to try to give the best services to our customer base and try to grow our business.

The CNC expertise area needs very highly skilled individuals with the most technical part of a global ERP system like JD Edwards from Oracle. These people is very difficult to hire. Globally there are few people with these high level skills.

The goal has been to deliver the best service with predictable cost and with a reliable service and quick response time.

Many of our customers in Latinamerica has been requesting us services for upgrades and support. The projects normally are low-term, 3-6 months. All of them we have been working with on-site resources in Spanish or English and remote services for CNC System Architecture in English. Our ERP Consultants had the required support from a very skilled team from Sedulous.

We have been able to deliver the expected results for more than 4 upgrade projects and the customers are asking for more services like: Orchestration IOT ODA alternate site for applications DB Visit installation and setup

The flexibility, the communication channel without any extra time-consumming.

Their response time and flexibility are impressive. We have a fair negotiation, but the most important are the results and work quality.

Our company runs an old ERP Version, which is mired with downtimes caused by hardware and software failures. One of the servers, used for monitoring ERP health ( Deployment Server) crashed at the Operating System level. We did not have any previous Image backups to restore from. The other Challenge we had was the locking of the Oracle 10G Database Account.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We engaged Sedulous Based on a good review for previous work done.

We formed a combined work team from both parties to oversee the project. A secure VPN connection was set up daily progress Virtual meeting on a daily basis. A completely new server was installed with a Windows Operating System. The consultants, using specialized tools started the recovery process of the deployment server using resources from another associated server. On the other side, A CNC expert recovered the Database Account using the Linux OS commands.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to quickly restore the deployment server to the Original format. A further performance tuning was done resulting in increased ERP performance. We were also able to recover the main Database Account.

Everything was seamless and we were able to complete the work within one Week.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a deep pool of experts, not just for ERP but for other areas too.
