We wanted to understand some of the challenges we were facing in the Mumbai market and hence wanted to conduct a distributor survey.

We had prior relations with the proprietor, Mr Neeraj Khetawat and hence contacted him when I wanted to execute this survey.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
The process involved interviewing several distributors in Mumbai as the target group and some distributors in Ahmedabad as the control group. After the interviews and obtaining various data parameters from both the distributors, they would provide us with a detailed comparison on the working styles and cost associated with those markets. Accordingly, a scope of improvement would be provided.
What was the team composition?
The proprietor himself took the lead role in executing this project and closely worked alongside me.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have implemented several suggestions based on the feedback. The final report helped us understand why different distributors have different earnings in detail. Based on these findings, we have suggested the each distributor various areas of focus that are currently driving their costs and up and an improvement in those areas can increase their earnings. Also a retailer survey helped us establish the gaps in the market and hence we ramped up our mapping activities to close those gaps.

We regularly communicated over calls to discuss further steps and ensured that the project was executed on time.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
As the promoter himself was involved, the project was free of bureaucratic hurdles and well executed. The scope of the work was accurately predefined, and the deliverables were aligned with the scope. Some work was also done in addition to the scope which shows the level of dedication to the client.
