Rubico's team provided drafting and developing a rebuild of our client's website on WordPress using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes. Included were converting current content to more easily readable formats, converting forms to the GravityForms system, and adjusting the layout as needed.

Regardless of content delays or changes from clients, team was able to ensure our deadlines for development and changes were met within the timeframes we specified.

There is always room for improvement in any service, in this case one may be a focus on clarifying when Divi's controls are used and when custom coding is done on a website. A small thing in the grand scheme of things.

We liked our previous website, but couldn't make the changes we wanted due to the manner in which it was coded. Rubico completely re-coded it so the best parts stayed the same, some areas that needed polishing got polished, and we can now access the coding and make some of the ongoing changes on our own.

The redesign included a 10–15 page site in Webflow, replacing our current WordPress site with a more secure and easier-to-manage platform. This included content support for key pages, integration of a homepage hero video, and essential functionality like volunteer sign-up forms, an event calendar, a newsletter pop-up, and basic donation capabilities via third-party links. The site was designed to better engage GRACE’s core audiences - clients, donors, and volunteers.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Total online donations, newsletter sign ups, and client service requests have increased on the website, and the site has proved to be much more stable than our previous site that crashed regularly due to outdated plugins.

Our project coordinator was incredibly organized and quick to respond to all of our agency's needs! Communication was well-documented throughout the project so each team was aware of deadlines. After a simple project turned into a very tedious one, Rubico's patience and guidance were key to our success.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Despite the time difference and what had to be a frustrating amount of questions/tweaks from our team, the Rubico team was more than patient and spent countless hours outside of their work schedule to make our new website everything we dreamed. They provide a customer experience that you simply can't find anywhere else.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Rubico could have done differently?

For the sake of Rubico's time, I would recommend developing a clearer client critique schedule. While our agency appreciated and benefitted from Rubico's flexibility and patience with our many edits along the way, we understand that the ability to make almost unlimited tweaks at any time elongated the project timeline.
An introductory resource sheet or something similar on new web software could also be beneficial for clients! This was our first time using Webflow, so there was a significant learning curve on our end that likely also impacted the project timeline. Those things aside, this really was such an incredible team to work with and we owe the website's success to Rubico's team!

The Rubico team maximized the AI integration to our Loan Software, embedded back end equations, and pushed out clean and clear metrics and dashboards for our team

Measured successes were

1. Validated and reconciled data pulled into the loan management tool from the software. 
2. Verified users and mapping of the whole organization to the platform
3. Dashboards and data presented accurately and simply for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

Rubico was incredibly responsive and always timely. We had weekly cadence calls and weekly/daily emails. They were quick with change orders and flexible to still meet deliverable dates despites increases in workflows.

Rubico takes care of all WordPress web development for my agency's clients. This includes creating pixel perfect pages based on Figma designs, custom css, js, and php, and QA. They are very proactive and pay great attention to details. We have a weekly call with the entire team and the whole group is very organized and helpful. They are quick to communicate via Slack and my ClickUp system. They meet or beat their deadlines every time.

We have had one or two situations with urgent issues that came up after hours on their end. On both occasions they rallied the troops and worked on the issues until they were resolved. I have never had an offshore team do that before and this is one of many reasons I am a huge Rubico fan.

I have a dedicated Project Manager who is very responsive both in Slack and in ClickUp. They have integrated into my ClickUp with ease. I receive daily responses to my comments/questions and they proactively ask clarifying questions of me. Very, very responsive overall.

I was impressed by their commitment to high quality in everything they did - transparent billing to the quarter-hour, pixel-perfect development to the design, responsiveness and proactive communication, pleasant and enjoyable and trustworthy people. Overall excellent!

Are there any areas for improvement or something Rubico could have done differently?

Their model and company culture ensures that the Indian team works "normal" hours so they can have healthy family lives, which is sometimes inconvenient in US Eastern time. BUT I fully support their company culture so am happy to make accommodations for working hours.

Just a general comment to get creative in engineering solutions. We generally know what we want the end result to be, but we lack the development engineering mind to bring solutions sometimes.

We developed a mobile app to allow for virtual pilgrimages. The content of the pilgrimage is updated and added via a web based admin console. The client app deployed on both iOS and Android. Along with UI/UX development, Rubico also added functionality for offline content download.

A pilgrimage usually consists of several steps in the journey that include video, audio, and images.
