This included content support for key pages, integration of a homepage hero video, and essential functionality like volunteer sign-up forms, an event calendar, a newsletter pop-up, and basic donation capabilities via third-party links. The site was designed to better engage GRACE’s core audiences - clients, donors, and volunteers.

Total online donations, newsletter sign ups, and client service requests have increased on the website, and the site has proved to be much more stable than our previous site that crashed regularly due to outdated plugins.

Our project coordinator was incredibly organized and quick to respond to all of our agency's needs! Communication was well-documented throughout the project so each team was aware of deadlines. After a simple project turned into a very tedious one, Rubico's patience and guidance were key to our success.

Despite the time difference and what had to be a frustrating amount of questions/tweaks from our team, the Rubico team was more than patient and spent countless hours outside of their work schedule to make our new website everything we dreamed. They provide a customer experience that you simply can't find anywhere else.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Rubico could have done differently?
For the sake of Rubico's time, I would recommend developing a clearer client critique schedule. While our agency appreciated and benefitted from Rubico's flexibility and patience with our many edits along the way, we understand that the ability to make almost unlimited tweaks at any time elongated the project timeline. An introductory resource sheet or something similar on new web software could also be beneficial for clients! This was our first time using Webflow, so there was a significant learning curve on our end that likely also impacted the project timeline. Those things aside, this really was such an incredible team to work with and we owe the website's success to Rubico's team!

Rubico takes care of all WordPress web development for my agency's clients. This includes creating pixel perfect pages based on Figma designs, custom css, js, and php, and QA. They are very proactive and pay great attention to details. We have a weekly call with the entire team and the whole group is very organized and helpful. They are quick to communicate via Slack and my ClickUp system. They meet or beat their deadlines every time.
We have had one or two situations with urgent issues that came up after hours on their end. On both occasions they rallied the troops and worked on the issues until they were resolved. I have never had an offshore team do that before and this is one of many reasons I am a huge Rubico fan.

Projects were finished early or on time. Sites had very few to no QA edits from our agency or our client. Difficult design or functionality worked beautifully. Communication was always clear and insightful.

We were looking to design a new website since we were running into some limitations on Shopify. For example, in the disc golf industry, we often need to display hundreds of variants for a single product, so we needed a platform that could provide that functionality. Also, we wanted more customizability in the way we presented information about our products to our customers.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have heard positive reviews about the modern look of the new user interface. We were successfully able to migrate our data from Shopify to Magento, which allowed us to display hundreds of variants for a single product. Overall, Rubico has helped us implement many custom features on our site to improve the user experience and make changes based on customer feedback.

Rubico's project management skills have been a great asset to our team. We have regular weekly meetings to discuss our current tasks, and we use Trello and Slack to communicate throughout the week. Shawn, our project coordinator, has done an excellent job of keeping us on task and ensuring that issues are resolved quickly. The team has also been willing to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

We hired Rubico to develop an app that operates as a sales platform for our teams to use while fundraising. We had been using the technology of our third party vendors for a number of years - we were looking to streamline our processes and own a proprietary function of our business.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
They were recommended to us by a peer ad trusted business advisor After meeting with Ben, we were impressed by their thorough project evaluation and reasonable timeframes.

We had a group meeting to detail the objectives and timelines. Then we were assigned a project manager and the lead developers were established. They delivered wireframes for the initial app, and began working to design and develop the staging site. Once the staging site was thoroughly tested and the UI/UX was approved, the live app was launched. We continue to implement updates and enhancements to the admin site and live app.

Roughly a dozen team members from Rubico have been working on our project at a time. Our project manager steers the ship, the lead developer charts the course, and the back-end and front-end developers and testing staff are skillfully working aboard.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We successfully ran the busiest sales season in the history of our business exclusively on the platform Rubico designed and did not experience a single glitch in service from an administrative, client, or end user standpoint. All of our clients raved about the ease of use and helpfulness of the sales app, and our back-end processes were much simpler since consolidating POS systems.

We had weekly standup meetings via Zoom with all the members of their team, and they've presented every single deliverable on time thus far. We use Asana for project and task management. They've been very responsive and highly communicative throughout.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We were brand new to the app world, and none of our teammates had any technical development experience. Providing a bit more hands-on guidance in some of the technical aspects that we were responsible for as a client (i.e. email client selection, payment gateway setups, etc) would have been helpful but they always answered questions to the best of their ability.

On our mining sites, many forms were still paper-based, and the data captured via them was never captured in a digital format. We contracted Rubico to create a digital-forms solution to replace the existing paper-based forms, and thus make previously inaccessible data sources accessible.

Rubico designed and developed a digital forms solution with assistance from our team. The solution included a Laravel backend, Angular web frontend and mobile application. The mobile application had to have an offline-saving mode in order to cater for areas in the mine without connectivity. The forms created in the solution was custom-built by Rubico: functionality to dynamically create new forms was purposefully left out.

There were 5 people in the core team, a project manager, backend development, frontend developer, mobile devloper and devops engineer. We also used a UI designed at key points in the project.

Rubico were able to successfully create a number of forms that are used in our mines. The application was implemented and is actively used on site.

In general project management was well-structured. Slack was used as the de-facto communication tool with weekly standup meetings to share progress. Timelines provided to us as the client were realistic in terms of what to expect.
