We were left in a bad position. We had a falling out with our previous third-party engineering group. They changed the scope of work and pricing multiple times and delivered a product that was completely nonfunctional. RoonyX carefully analyzed the product, fixed what was broken, and built what was missing for our MVP. 

They performed amazingly. They were extremely organized and paid attention to all the details. They were very fairly priced. We're going to keep working with RoonyX on future products and already have them reviewing our pipeline of additional builds we're implementing into our application.

They turned a broken application with no admin panel into a working application and built in an admin and super admin panel. There were too many errors in code and missing code prior to us engaging them for me to list.

Anton was our PM. He was very responsive throughout the project. Everything was delivered on time. Communications were predominantly done on Slack, with organized Question-answers where all parties were kept up to speed and questions were asked/answered immediately.

We were in a bad situation, with limited funds and broken products, and these guys stepped into a challenging situation and corrected our course. We were close to throwing the towel in before we engaged RoonyX. I can't say enough good things about this group. 

We've worked with a number of third-party engineering groups over the years, and having a group retrade (decrease scope or increase costs) happens way more than it should, but it didn't happen with RoonyX. We told them what we needed done and what our budget was and they designed a scope of work that worked for them and us. Great people, they do what they say they're going to do in the timeline they give you.

Nope, we are 100% happy with their work.

I think I was most impressed with the attention to detail. They really took pride in making a good product, and often went out of their way to think of design features and fixes beyond the scope of the contract.

I think behind the scenes there may have been some movement on who was assigned to the project, at least initially, which made some of the communication a little confusing, as there were quite a few people in the group chat at one time, but it seemed to sort itself out as the project progressed and I was just communicating directly with the lead software engineer.

Our client needed a solution that would plug into their existing dispatch backend system and allow the office to track couriers’ location, set route and monitor order status. Delivery drivers themselves needed a way to keep track of the parcels and document every delivery. 

Roonyx started by analyzing the existing dispatch system and determined what endpoints will have to be created to exchange the needed data with the mobile app. They suggested using Flutter to cover both platforms, which was one of the client’s priorities. 

The client also had a tight deadline of 2 months. They were able to take it into consideration and organize the communication and development process in a highly efficient way. They worked agile and delivered the product on time with minimal bugs and issues, which were also fixed quickly within a warranty period. The client was very satisfied with the result and approved the concept application in their facilities throughout Europe.

Our vision was that customers of our merchants would buy goods or services as usual, but use their crypto wallet instead of fiat currency by scanning a QR code on a terminal. The funds were to be deposited on a special crypto account of the merchant (passing KYB in the process) and if the transaction was verified, the customer would receive a printed receipt.

Roonyx helped us work through the purchase process and improve the product vision. With the resulting solution, merchants could save on the payment processing fees (2-3%) and increase the number of customers both online and offline by accepting crypto.

Our team had just launched the application and we still had to work on the features that had been planned, while new users were sending requests for changes, fixes, and updates to the existing application. So we hired Roonyx to take care of the development of the current app while our team was focusing on the next version.

They helped us with the backend and frontend development of the web application, as well as the mobile app. They also took care of QA and project management.

• In a few months, we caught up with the technical debt and all the new requests from the users and stabilized the project. Our team finished the next version of the app so we had more resources to take back over the ongoing tasks from Roonyx.

During our initial consultation, Roonyx flagged an important issue – we did not have any software development requirements, nor even a description of our business processes. Since we were short on time to deliver our new enrollment experience, Roonyx suggested avoiding the long process of requirements elicitation in favor of a more iterative approach.

We would have a workshop every two weeks discussing how a particular process was being done within our team and what we wanted to achieve. Then, Roonyx created user stories based on those conversations and implemented those stories. With this process, they ended up meeting our deadlines.

While our team was focusing on supporting the existing code Roonyx took over developing new features. So within 3 months of work, we completed the original scope of work, and then the client requested more features based on the user feedback. By the time the project ended, we had a working MVP with more functionality than initially planned, and since then we’re supporting the app. The code written by Roonyx is quite good, so support is fairly simple and inexpensive

A lot of PMs duties were covered by our team, but the managers from Roonyx were very helpful and stayed on top of things. They made sure the onboarding of developers went well, checked on their engineers, replaced them on time when they would leave for a vacation, etc. And although they didn’t have to they still made sure we were on schedule and our client was seeing consistent results.

Roonyx was hired to revamp an existing platform with several goals. The first goal was to fix the poor API integration and checkout process. This problem influenced ticket availability on the platform and prevented the client from making sales. Roonyx addressed this with a short term solution. They fixed the issues and were able to quickly replace an old 3rd party API integration with a new provider.

They also dealt with some annoying bugs. This enabled us to update the production environment and keep the web application running. Next they worked on the UI/UX design and updated the interface layout. Finally Roonyx’s team refactored the old code and made multiple significant improvements to the platform performance and security delivering a functional and clean looking platform.

• The team fixed the most critical issues first and literally revived the platform within 3 weeks

We had a dedicated project manager throughout the whole process. She organized the backlog and priority tasks in Jira, provided us access and shared weekly reports on what was done. The whole team was present on Slack and the PM wasn’t a middle man but rather a team leader and almost a product manager when it came to suggesting best practices for this project.

The delivery was on time. We had quite a few additional requirements after the first scope of work was completed and they were able to organize our requests in Jira in a very clear and convenient way. There was a sprint planning meeting every week and regular demos after each major milestone.
