I've worked with them to supply mobile applications to integrate with the company's salesforce custom application on four projects this year.

They developed custom applications for iOS and Android for use by the company and third parties. The apps provide the ability for customers to gain rebates for adopting certain platforms, to manage their energy-consumption, and to directly enroll with web-based applications.

What was the team composition?

Two leads took responsibility for the different projects and allocated resources in a pyramid for each project based on timing, the platform type, and the complexity of requirements. The current project involves three iOS developers and three Android developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Every project has had tight timelines, but their resources have engaged effectively to understand the specific requirements, assess the appropriate level of reuse from already-delivered tools, identify what changes are required, and engage with salesforce and JavaScript development teams to ensure mobile apps integrate into the applications.

Their team leads are extremely responsive and ensure resources are allocated to the projects when needed. Whenever there have been any technical or development challenges, they've worked tirelessly to identify the cause and delivered working solutions. The apps developed by them have been readily adopted and received praise for their effectiveness.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. All the resources are highly motivated and engaged in ensuring the project is a success. They're highly responsive at any time of the day and work long hours to accommodate teams in different time zones. They listen, seek to understand, confirm their understanding, and are efficient.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are technically highly skilled, good communicators, well-motivated, and hard working. They are dedicated to making any project a success. They're also flexible and creative when identifying the best design approaches.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In one instance, team leads had to reallocate some Android resources to another, higher-priority project. Although this caused a slight delay for one program, their team leads communicated clearly the need and impact, while continuing to forecast the potential to return to the first project smoothly.

Communication with Rlogical Techsoft was superb. Usually, we corresponded via email and Skype. We used Dropbox for file sharing. The project never halted or staggered due to miscommunication or mismanagement.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to reduce the number of IT issues we were experiencing every day. At the time, our website was slow, full of bugs, difficult to update, and had poor SEO. We also wanted to make the sales process easier for our team by improving our internet presence and generating more customer inquiries.

We searched online for a reliable and affordable IT company. Previously, we worked with another Indian company but were unsatisfied with their service. Our former vendor would take 1–2 weeks to finish even the smallest tasks.

Rlogical fixed all the issues on our e-commerce website, including database bugs and slow performance. They created a better website design and rewrote all queries to improve loading time. Next, we asked them to create five different versions of our website, which would be managed using one application. It gave us the opportunity to offer customers different experiences and products based on their country and language.

At the same time, Rlogical implemented an excellent CRM tool designed for our business needs. They improved our CRM back-office functionality, including customer account management, bulk email, inquiries and request management, customer balance, and transactions. They also helped with server management and installed 10 WordPress websites for our company branches.

Currently, they’re designing a new web application to manage the bids we receive from customers. We use those bids to buy cars from auction houses across Japan. This project is 70% done.

Rlogical reduced website loading time from eight seconds to 3–4 seconds. In less than a year, our daily inquiries increased by 50% while website user registration doubled. Also, our SEO ranking moved from the 10th page to the second page for our main keywords.

Not only are they are able to build anything I come up with, but they can make it the absolute best business reputation marketing tool available.

They offer great communication, good value, and highly skilled developers. The only area that needed improvement was changed as required: during development, we recognized the need for a QA to test new code going forward. When we began experiencing some issues, Rahul made sure we were assigned a QA to correct them. He excels at identifying issues as they happen and reacting appropriately.

It's ongoing. They work for me on a case-by-case basis. It's been four or five years that I've worked with them.

I'm satisfied. I made a lot of money from what Rlogical Techsoft created. The software has been running very well. The main thing for me is consistency and being dependable. When I contact them, they actually respond in a timely manner and when you're dealing with international firms that's always an iffy thing, but they've always been responsive. 

It's important that they give feedback on our decisions and are on time with what they do. We started out slow and have picked up the pace as I got comfortable with them.

What distinguishes Rlogical Techsoft from other providers?

He [Rahul Panchal, managing director at Rlogical Techsoft] actually visited the U.S. He came to the U.S., and we had lunch and walked around. We met about a month or two ago. He's very responsive. Every time I send a Skype chat or email, he's been responsive. He's been helping my customers with any installation issues.

My focus is really on products that can generate traffic and leads for the home-based business field. If they could expand on that area, that would be good.

We got to know each other several years ago, I believe our initial introduction was through Fiverr, and then we split off and started doing some work. He [Rahul Panchal, managing director at Rlogical Techsoft] built some software for us, he built some apps for us, he did some Web design work for us, and I recommended him to some friends of mine.

He built several types of software for us that is in and around lead generation. He built an app for us, and he built some websites for us. I think that's pretty much it. Some apps, several different types of software, and some websites. So, it was mostly development work.

I can't remember. It's been a long time. I think we met on Fiverr. I do a lot of scanning on Fiverr when I need something done because you can get multiple bids quick. I was impressed with his work, and then we had a continuing business relationship for years. In fact, he flew out and made a special part of his trip to come and see me just a month ago.

A typical project was somewhere between $200 and $500, depending on what it was.

The relationship is still ongoing.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

I've had success in every project that I've ever work with him on. I'm not a software engineer, so I may know what I want but I may not know how to ask for it. Rahul has been very good about making sure that I get what I want, and his follow up is great. Same thing with the website. I'm sure there's a million people out there that do websites, but bottom line is he does them and gets it done on time, and he follows up if you need additional help or if something needs changing.

How did Rlogical Techsoft perform from a project management standpoint?

Rlogical Techsoft works very well with others, in my experience and in my friends' experience. I've recommended him to some friends, too. He gets the job done. If there's any failing with him, it's sometimes a little bit of a challenge understanding his English. It's obviously British English and, in that regard, it's sometimes hard to understand. We've worked through with the accents and stuff.

What distinguishes Rlogical Techsoft from other providers?

For the ones that I've worked with, he wants to get the job done, and get the job done right. I just find that working with him is pleasurable, as opposed to having a business relationship where it's 'do this, do this, follow up on this.' He's easy to work with. He gets the job done. He does not gouge you financially, and he's just very cooperative. It's a pleasure to work with him.

In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?

Not really. Sometimes we have a miscommunication because of what I've mentioned previously, but they're minor miscommunications. It's not major stuff that we stumble around. I might say something, and he might not quite understand it the way I meant it. He may say something, and I might not understand it quite the way he meant it. We work around it, though. It's that type of relationship.
