Rexsoft Inc. has been responsible for the full development lifecycle of our scooter-sharing SaaS platform, starting from early discovery work and technical planning through to active development and release preparation. Their team designed and built the SaaS core, the operator-side admin environment with functionality for pricing, fleet operations, and performance reporting, as well as the mobile app used by riders for rentals and payments. Throughout the project, they also maintained the system, delivered new functionality, and kept the product evolving in line with our operational needs. From my perspective as a PM, Rexsoft consistently managed task estimation, backlog organization, release coordination, and documentation, making the overall delivery process stable and predictable.

With Rexsoft Inc., we’ve delivered measurable results that clearly demonstrate the success of the scooter sharing SaaS platform. We launched the first version within the agreed timeline and budget, with a complete ecosystem that includes two mobile applications, the operator-facing admin environment, and the SaaS layer supporting multiple clients. Since going live, the platform has processed thousands of rides with uptime consistently above 99%, integrated multiple payment providers, and equipped us with configuration tools that significantly reduce manual work. 

Early operator feedback has been highly positive, particularly regarding the ease of managing fleets, adjusting pricing, and tracking daily operations in real time. The steady onboarding of new mobility operators and the platform’s stable performance have confirmed both the technical soundness of the solution and its strong market fit.

From my PM perspective, Rexsoft Inc. has demonstrated strong project management throughout the collaboration. They organize the work into clear sprints with well-defined goals, provide regular progress updates and demo sessions, and show flexibility whenever we need to adjust scope or timelines. Their team reacts quickly to urgent issues or production-level changes, which has been essential for maintaining stability.

We communicate primarily through online tools - video calls for planning and reviews, and Slack or email for daily coordination. Their project manager maintains an organized backlog, documents decisions, and ensures all stakeholders remain aligned. This structured approach has made it much easier for me to manage internal expectations and keep the project moving forward without surprises.

They consistently propose thoughtful solutions and alternatives rather than taking tasks “as is,” and they remain open to feedback, adjusting their processes whenever we need more clarity or structure. Overall, they operate less like an external vendor and more like a genuine extension of our internal team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Rexsoft Inc. could have done differently?

Overall, my experience with Rexsoft Inc. has been very positive. The only area where we’d welcome further improvement is having even more detailed documentation from the very beginning of new features - particularly for non-technical stakeholders on our side. To their credit, whenever we’ve raised this point, they’ve adjusted quickly and improved the way they present user stories, flows, and technical decisions.

We have achieved great results for the MVP version of our initial project. In 6 months, the deadlines have always been met by Rexsoft, and we are currently working together on phase two of the app.

The scope of work included building the custom communication platform from the ground up. The platform would be only available to users with a .edu email account. Users will be able to create an account using their work email accounts. All users must be affiliated with a college or university. Once users join they platform they can join any workspace, at a cost. Users can also creat chats and have private conversations with other users. Key Deliverables: Sign up page: place where users can create an account.  Profile page: capture user information.  Workspaces : users can join multiple workspaces to collaborate.  Chat: private spaces to collaborate with specific users.  Backend Admin: Develop a backend platform to manage and track user data.

I absolutely loved my Project Manager Mariia. She was so kind and attentive from the very beginning. She stayed in constant communication about the project. She kept me current on any issues or concerns. She was always avainle to meet even though there was a 8 hour time difference. Rexsoft never took their hands off the project, and I am forever grateful for the team.

I am the owner of Virtue Ninja. Our organization is an LLC that created a mobile phone app to teach children how not to get molested or touched inappropriately. We also teach them how to value personal space through games and how to communicate with adults if they are touched inappropriately. Our app helps them make the right decisions.

What challenge were you trying to address with RexSoft?

We wanted to communicate our vision to someone that could make it possible.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since I have already had the scripts written out, all I needed to do was provide them the information. RexSoft interpreted our communication into the audio, video, and graphics of the app.

We went back and forth during the first phase to determine the aesthetics and make sure things looked the way I wanted them to. If things weren’t specific or clear, we would work through it. From then on we proceeded to the actual production of the app after everything was approved. This app has already been launched and it is currently available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

What is the team composition?

I dealt with one member of their team who I believe was the salesperson. He was in charge of ensuring I understood and agreed to the contractual side of the project. After that, I mainly dealt with Artem (Partner) who I communicated everything to. I also received invoices from their finance person.

How did you come to work with RexSoft?

While I was reaching out to video game companies, an app creation company that I contacted referred RexSoft to me. Prior to hiring RexSoft, I actually hired someone else to do the job since I was a little concerned that RexSoft was out of the country. Unfortunately, we did not have the relationship that RexSoft and I did, so essentially, I just wasted my money with them.

I went through the contract again and noticed that if I found them liable for anything or if I wanted to sue, I could sue them in New York’s court. This made me feel a little bit more comfortable. 

They also agreed to allow me to only pay them upon receiving their work. As a result, I wasn’t just paying them money and hoping I receive something at the end.

So far, we’ve invested $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The production started around April 2020. It ended in early January 2021 when the app launched.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They took my idea and made it tangible. If I had a metric system, their production would be 100%. Internal and external stakeholders alike loved the app. They thought it was a great idea, and they were specifically keen on the visual aspect of it.

We work in levels and they’ve already completed one level for me. I plan to create more levels and continue our partnership for a really long time.

How did RexSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

RexSoft performs excellently from a project management standpoint. I like how they work and I’m not really easy to please all the time. 

We communicate mostly through Skype, text, and email. Everybody in his team is on our Skype text group, but Artem and I are the only ones who go back and forth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What distinguishes them from other providers are their professionalism and communication. We learned to communicate really well with each other by admitting our faults at the beginning when the scope of the project wasn’t really clear. 

I’ll send them pictures when I’m trying to describe a certain scene so they can actually visualize what I’m saying. They asked really specific questions to make sure that they weren’t wasting their time and my money.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly can’t think of anything they could improve on because I really like their workflow. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise them to just go for it and take the plunge. Step into it and trust them.

I’m the founder and CEO of an online lead generation business.

What challenge were you trying to address with RexSoft?

We were initially working on a telecom system, which evolved into some CRM-type platforms and outside-the-box solutions we needed to develop.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

RexSoft worked on some telecommunication platforms for us, one of which they created pretty much from scratch. They made API integrations with third-party platforms like Twilio and Nexmo. They also made custom solutions for transacting and tracking calls.

The team aided through the project management portion of things and helped us put on paper what the vision was.

They then developed an internal CRM that tracked and assigned lines. We were previously managing this through spreadsheets, and RexSoft helped us bring it to the web and streamline our internal processes. The platform has user management and different roles for clients, admins, and resellers.

I’m also working with RexSoft on a project unrelated to my lead generation business. We’re creating an interactive online experience for the holidays with Santa Claus. We’re trying to bring the holiday experience to the homes of families that maybe fear going out or aren’t allowed to because of COVID-19.

We had four fulltime developers for the larger projects and 1–2 for the smaller ones. There was always a project manager involved that was in charge of planning and executing the work.

How did you come to work with RexSoft?

I’ve been working on the internet for over ten years, so I have built a lot of relationships. I’ve worked with freelancers and lower-cost providers over time.

Ultimately, I didn’t get the same quality, response times, and insights as I would when working with a bigger company like RexSoft. I was referred to them by a very close contact at the time, who was initially a client of mine. I’ve used RexSoft ever since then for any larger development projects I had.

I started working with RexSoft in January or February 2016. I’ve had two yearlong projects with them, and both were launched by January 2018.

My type of work is in a unique, outside-the-box area. Compared to freelancers and other providers I’ve worked with, RexSoft is definitely the best in terms of flexibility, professionalism, and giving me multiple options.

Each phase of the way was very professional, and they were on top of things. Project management is probably their strongest point. I’ve worked with multiple managers from their team, and each one was very professional.

They adapt to the client’s character and working style. They find the person from their team that would have the best synergy.

What did you find most impressive about them?

RexSoft has everything covered, from project management to developers specializing in different coding languages. They essentially have someone in-house for whatever a client asks of them.

A lot of times, they already had experience working on what I was asking for, which came in handy when trying to figure stuff out for a project that didn’t exist yet. They have all the bases covered, from the early stages to production.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I guess it’s a good thing that I have to think about this. The time zone is a bit different, but they’re still available. I’m on the East Coast, so I have to work a bit earlier in the morning, but they’re even online earlier in the afternoon. I really don’t have anything bad to say about them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The client should first have a solid plan for themselves, in terms of what they’re trying to bring to life. After they have that mapped out, it’s good to be task-oriented when working with developers and project managers, and for the client to have their own list of things to do.

As long as they’re taking action and staying involved with the team, RexSoft is going to bring the project to life rather quickly. They have a lot of manpower, and they can turn a vision into reality in a matter of months.

After launching the project we had to do some corrections in order to oprimize the platform but they've always delivered work in reasonable deadlines. Technical support top! working together with digital agency with achieved good results at the time!

They seemed interested on our projects, asking the rights questions in comparison to others vendors. We decided to begin a test phase, which was a success. We like their way to work, always available and quick answers and fixes.

They introduced new categories on the website and some others optimization regarding customer experience and back office improvements. The main project however was to implement an API in order to link our website to a partners website. The information needed to link was on the products pages, stock and orders.

The optimisations bring better KPIs regarding customers. The bounce rate has decrease. The main project is not launched yet but the API is working and it is more easier to make updates.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management is very effective. They always let us know about the project progress, the way they develop the different tasks, the deadlines. They are force of proposals on improvements and solutions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The link between their team : the project manager and developers are constantly in contact. Everyone is present when we make call meeting, which means we can talk about technical details and not only the project progress. They did not hesitate to help me when I needed technical advice for things I couldn't handle on my own.

I set out to create a top commercial real estate listing service. The website is the foundation of the business, so it was critical that it be well-designed and easy to use.

I met one of their salespeople at a real estate technology event. I talked to another company as well, but RexSoft seemed to have the necessary capabilities to handle the project.

Prior to RexSoft's involvement, we had an early version of our iOS app and website. RexSoft initially added features to our WordPress site, but then we decided to increase its scalability and stability and by redeveloping it using PHP Laravel. RexSoft built and now maintains that website. The site has a responsive design and collects payments through PayPal. Users can register for the site and add their listings, including images and PDFs. The listings are searchable. Additionally, RexSoft manages an SEO consultant we work with, as well as an iOS app developer.

What was the team composition?

We work with a project manager, a senior developer, and a junior developer. They also introduced me to a SEO consultant they work with.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our user and listing base have each grown 15-fold since we brought in RexSoft. Traffic has been growing 10–15% MoM, too. They've become a valuable partner in transforming concepts into reality.

They are very good at meeting deadlines and scheduling meetings at my convenience. Skype has been a powerful tool for us, as it helps us discuss goals and expectations during weekly calls and communicate requests when something urgent arises. They’re always willing to accommodate any changes we want made to the site.

RexSoft is responsive and excels at thinking up ways to improve the site and make it more effective.
