We are not good a project managemen, they did a good job meeting us at our level. We both could have been better organized at times, but overall they did a good job keeping us on track and delivering on time.

Revolt helped us get to an MVP of our B2C offering. They first delivered a clickable prototype then built an MVP of our B2C app from design to front and back-end development.

Measurably we were able to get a reasonably functional B2C app and deploy it on the store. There were some bugs as were expected and they subsequently worked with us to fix them.

Revolt were able to meet our needs but due to the challenging nature of our product development, items were often not delivered on time. This was due to frequent challenges and the complexity of our project and they would always make an effort to respond to our needs in a reasonable timeframe.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Revolt's design process and quality of frontend design work definitely set them apart. For an MVP they were able to help us build a product that is beautiful, unique, and innovative. There was a lot of consideration on ease of use in the design side and the depth of the work was fantastic. We still use their extremely thorough style guide and early work on defining our customer personas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Revolt could have done differently?

In hindsight, Revolt could have definitely improved on both the quality of back-end development and meeting deliverables in a more timely manner. Their work was satisfying for an MVP but numerous bugs led to numerous delays which could have been prevented if the quality of the first edition of back-end development was improved.

We needed help with developing the website for our whole organization.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Revolt has been helping us develop our website. Initially, they did a great job understanding our target audience and our brand; we basically built our brand book with their help. After that, they jumped into the website development work. Based on our initial research and the discoveries made in the early stages, Revolt has built a new website for us from scratch on WordPress. All the required UI/UX design has also been up to them, for which they've used Figma.

What is the team composition?

We're working with a project manager and a designer from Revolt. Their development team is working behind the scenes.

How did you come to work with Revolt?

We already knew them from past experience.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing. We're now in the final stages.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've measured the success of our project by the fact that Revolt has delivered on time and with great quality. Our new website isn't crashing.

How did Revolt perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and regular video conferences.

The teammates from Revolt with whom we interact are fabulous and great to work with, as well as very proactive. Every time we need changes, they provide numerous examples to choose from so that we can see how the changes would look. Overall, their proactive approach is outstanding.

Thus far, we're on track with the project, so there's nothing they could improve.

At the beggining of the proyect, Revolt did a research to understand the best user flow the our digital investors. We worked together with the PM thinking of the best MVP solution and deciding the core features to develop.

In each phase, we worked with a team of 3 people.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final delivery helped us increase our user traffic and our client convertion rate. The user flow was much more clear, and our value proposal better explained.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

At first I consider there was not an optimized comunication between the teams, and that lead us to extended time spent in validation and work redone. After a while we started working together, using dailys and prioritization to optimize time and end up with high quality outcomes.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I consider Revolt has a strong dev team, that has experience in React development. They were quick and open for changes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think in some moments, there was an strong need of a PM role who could understand the impact of every feature that was thought to be developed. In this case, I think I had to take that role. I don´t know if that was part of my role, or maybe that decision process should have been made from the PM team of Revolt.
