What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

REEA successfully built and delivered our custom data platform, which is live and actively used across our locations today. The platform supports club operations through custom dashboards, reporting, API and FTP integrations, and database processes that drive daily business decisions. We are currently engaged with REEA on a significant refactoring effort to scale the platform for continued growth, which reflects our confidence in their ability to evolve with our needs. Perhaps the most telling measure of success is the longevity of the relationship itself. I have worked personally with REEA for approximately 18 years across multiple organizations, since 2018. That level of continuity and trust is not something you maintain without consistent quality and commitment.

The project included upgrading our Laravel version to the most recent (we had skipped a few so this entailed a lot of QA to properly roll out to production). Alongside, we made some crucial workflow changes to our internal ATS software ranging from implementing more automation on the admin panel & a more streamlined workflow for the applicant portal.

They use their internal Redmine platform for task management & Skype for communication. I needed an additional QA person & WP developer and they were able to align in a day. No qualms on timely delivery and responses to my needs.

Their speed in aligning whole team, understanding a clean piece of code, and then the developers having good intuition into program logic instead of "just getting it done" but "get it done well".

Sometimes grammatical errors for on-site text that are so obvious to me may get missed but this is a small thing.

Additionally, a distinct form was designed for users below the age of 18, necessitating careful moderation by our site administrators. That said, these are minor points in comparison to the overall quality of their work. Reea's ability to align with our project requirements and deliver results was highly satisfying, and we look forward to potential future collaborations.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

REEA's work improved our customer experience and matched the needs of our grocery-specific needs. The site did great during the craze of 2020 when online orders boomed, and the platform handled the spike with success while accommodating new business needs. In fact, it handled eight times more volume and traffic and could have handled more if we hadn't reached our logistic limitations. Moreover, the new platform was a major update from the previous one. Keep in mind that the previous platform didn't even have the stock synchronized with our ERP, and customers were confronted with out-of-stock products. Separately, the quality of the images, UX design, and producer pages were great additions. We received direct feedback as well; we run a local business and sometimes interact face-to-face with our online customers. We also got a number of loyal customers.

REEA delivered on time with change requests. They had a larger team and could allocate experts depending on the need while having an overall project manager. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.
