The web part is built with React, while mobile used React Native and Node.js on the back-end.

1. The first step was 1 month of business analysis

4. Simultaneously our team worked on the web part of the platform.

Right now the application is in alpha version but already has 1000+ installs in stores.

We had a dedicated project manager, who was in touch with our team on a daily basis. Additionally, twice a week we had sync calls, and every 2 weeks - internal demo.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most unique thing about this is probably their sagacious approach. They asked the right questions while collecting requirements and interviewed the end Client. Also, they took care of project risks, project scalability, high-load performance, and many other things that are not that obvious in the beginning.

Are there any areas for improvement?

RedCat has established processes, so nothing particular to improve.

We passed them the designs and prototypes we made for our Client to find a cost-effective technical solution for iOS and Android platforms. The budget was ok for us, and we signed a contract to make an app.

What were your goals for this project?

Personally, our goal was to find a cheap and responsible subcontractor. RC guys are exactly what we were looking for. Regarding the project goals, rather build a smoothly working app based on our designs. They use Bluetooth and other smartphone native layers, and it's pretty complicated.

Ok, its a mobile application for iOS and Android with an admin dashboard and a sophisticated back-end infrastructure and some elements of Machine learning.

Tha app analyzes heart rhythm, daily activity, sleep quality and many other features. There are family groups, and alerts for elder people. we took 3 months for the designs and prototyping, and RC took 5 months for an MVP under our guidance.

They just did what was planned. We appreciate RedCat's transparency and predictability level. I believe that's the most important thing. The project was a bit delayed, but the end client is satisfied with the job done. For sure, we will have more projects with them.

We used a standard toolset, pretty unified - Slack, Trello, WhatsApp for an urgent staff+emails. The working methodology was Scrum with 2 weeks iterations and monthly demos. RC employees reply quickly and constructively.

RedCat has taught us a lot about unobvious risks. We are designers, not coders. They give an argumentation and reasons a b c for everything they do. Our partnership is 100% business-concentrated. Each thought and word is aimed at finding a wise and sagacious solution.

I’m the CEO and co-founder of Renthopper, a real estate platform for real estate agents to promote their properties.

What challenge were you trying to address with Resty-app?

We needed help with the frontend development of our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did the frontend development of our platform in React. The platform is working on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. We had a designer on board who created the specific design we wanted and they implemented it.

The key functionalities were mainly the search bar on our index page. It had to communicate well with the map which was created by them as well. The map is connected to the filter which filters all the properties that are on the platform. The three features are all connected.

We worked with Alexandra (Business Development Manager) on financial matters. There was one senior-level developer, one mid-level developer, and one junior level developer.

Alexandra found me on LinkedIn. We were using another provider from my country but we weren’t satisfied with the outcome. We decided to try Resty-app.

We started working together on and off from  October 2019 until February 2020.

We launched our platform two weeks ago. We’re doing quite good. We got some new clients and are now looking for investment to grow our business into something bigger and more powerful. I’ve gotten really positive feedback on the platform. Clients are satisfied. We accomplished our goals for version one with the help of Resty-app.

They were very helpful from day one. They’re very focused on a goal like we are. They followed our instructions well and improvised as needed and providing us with the correct answers. They were one of the most professional developers we’ve worked with. They’re very good in terms of coordination.

We liked their price and quality of the project. Everything is perfect. We’re still in contact. They write to me asking if we need more support. We’re investing in marketing and promotion right now but will work with them again in the future. We’re 100% satisfied.

We had regular Skype calls. If something wasn’t correct, we would set a date for a conference call. The project management was good compared to what we paid. Communication wasn’t that frequent but mainly because we paid less money than they required. We told them they could take their time and they employed a junior developer.
