What challenge were you trying to address with Red Apple Technologies?

We needed support to develop three games specific to the Asian market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Red Apple Technologies has designed and developed three games for us. One of the games is a multiplayer game, and the other two are for our products. The team has used Cocos2d for development. We’ve given Red Apple Technologies an idea of the games we need, and they've come up with a mood board and a prototype for us to evaluate. After that, we’ve gone through an iteration phase and started the development process. The games can be played on mobile and web devices.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with a salesperson, three art designers, and three developers, as well as a senior-level employee for the multiplayer game.

How did you come to work with Red Apple Technologies?

We received emails from Red Apple Technologies and did a vendor evaluation. The team was part of the vendor panel, and we approached them when we had a requirement. Red Apple Technologies gave us the best quote, so we went ahead with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Red Apple Technologies in September 2023. I've just stepped out of my company, and the project was continuing when I left.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After launching the first game, we continued working with Red Apple Technologies to develop the other games. Two games are for one of our products, and the third one was still in production when I left my company. Red Apple Technologies is good at creating game art, and their performance exceeds expectations.

How did Red Apple Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Red Apple Technologies is well aware of the project timelines. We have weekly meetings and communicate via phone calls and WhatsApp.

We were highly satisfied with the timely project delivery and exceptional artwork provided by Red Apple. Their designs were perfectly tailored to our platform's target audience. Additionally, the integrated business intelligence (BI) tools provided providers with valuable insights, enabling them to measure performance and take informed actions

The artwork and engineering teams complemented each other perfectly, maintaining consistent quality throughout the entire project. I did not find much to improve. They have a very professional team. The communication was great since day 1 anything that I brought out as feedback they addressed it and improved on it. All in all, I'm very happy with the communication and scope.

Deploying React Native resources significantly boosted our client’s confidence. The professionals from Red Apple seamlessly integrated with the client’s team, quickly learning about the project and independently managing communication and timely deliveries. Additionally, they played a key role in onboarding more team members through effective communication.

The deployed resource handled the project exceptionally well without the need for a separate project manager. He managed all aspects independently, including communication. They have a very good team and can handle various aspects of digital product development, deplyment and maintenance. The project managers were very helpful and professional. It was great to see that they also accomodated change requests without hesitation and made sure the end game and game art was as per our requirements.

None that I can think of. I have worked on several projects with various vendors in my career. Red Apple Technologies stands out as one of the most experienced, helpful, and professional teams I know. Any project goes through some ups and downs, the Red Apple team ensured any issue that arised was taken care of in a timely manner.
