Reckonsys was brought on to deliver a major version upgrade of our platform, and the work touched pretty much every layer of the product, from the technical architecture all the way through to launch. We worked together in structured phases, with a clear sign off needed at each stage before moving to the next, which helped keep everything aligned as the scope evolved.

**Key Deliverables**

The team started by putting together the full system architecture and design documentation, including the technical architecture document, the database design, and clear diagrams showing how everything connected. From there they built out all the backend functionality, covering authentication and the core application logic, and every part of it was tested on its own before anything was connected to the frontend. On the frontend side, they rebuilt every screen across the entire user journey based on an approved design, and set up the development and production environments along with a proper deployment pipeline so releases could go out smoothly. Once both sides were ready, they connected everything together and tested all the major user journeys using real data to make sure it actually worked the way it was supposed to. Before launch, they also ran a full round of testing, including performance and load testing, and worked through any bugs that came up in a structured way before the product went live. Throughout the whole process, theyconsistently delivered what was agreed, and communication stayed clear and steady from start to finish.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The clearest outcome is that the product went from a working but fairly fragile first version to something genuinely stable and reliable. In the earlier version we ran into timeout issues and broken flows during heavier usage, and those problems are gone in what the team delivered this time around. We also went from roughly a dozen database tables to a much more complete and thought out structure with close to twenty, which reflects how much the underlying system matured.

 Every milestone came with a working, testable deliverable, whether that was a full set of APIs we could verify in Postman or a complete set of screens we could walk through against the design, so we always had something concrete to check progress against rather than just updates on paper.

By the end, we had all the major user journeys working end to end with real data, a proper testing and deployment pipeline in place, and the product live and stable in a testing environment ahead of launch. the team was reliable about delivering what was agreed. Most milestones landed on schedule, and where things did take longer, it was usually because requirements were still being finalized on our end, not theirs. What stood out most was how they handled feedback. If I flagged something or asked them to rethink an approach, they took it seriously and came back with a solution quickly. Danish and Aarsh were easy to reach and responsive whenever something came up.

Their responsiveness stood out the most. When we flagged an issue or asked them to rethink something, they didn't push back or treat it as extra work, they just got on with fixing it. They were also thorough and came up with edge cases on their own that we hadn't considered. Danish and Aarsh in particular were easy to reach and straightforward to work with throughout.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Reckonsys could have done differently?

Overall the team was strong technically and easy to work with, so there isn't much to flag. If I had to point to one area, it would be testing around user cases. There were a few edge cases in the actual user flows that only came up once we started testing ourselves, and a bit more thoroughness on their end when testing different user scenarios before handoff would have caught those earlier.

We brought in two developers from Reckonsys to help us build GetReplies, our outreach automation platform. The scope was pretty broad and they jumped into both frontend and backend work, helping us architect core features from the ground up.

On the frontend side, they worked on the dashboard UI, making sure the user flows felt intuitive and clean. Backend work included building out the API integrations, handling webhook logic, and making the reply detection engine reliable across different email providers. They also helped with some of the trickier edge cases around email parsing that our internal team had been stuck on for a while.

Beyond just writing code, they were genuinely collaborative. They flagged things proactively, suggested better approaches when something we planned wasn't going to scale well, and stayed communicative throughout. Standups were easy, async updates were clear, and they didn't need a lot of hand-holding to stay productive.

The platform launched on schedule and in solid shape. Both developers were strong individually but also worked well together, which made a real difference given how much ground we needed to cover in a short timeframe.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

GetReplies went from a rough prototype to a fully functional platform ready for real users. The core reply detection accuracy came out really solid, which was the metric we were most worried about going in. We hit our launch deadline, which had already slipped once before Reckonsys came on board, so getting it across the finish line on time was a big deal for us.

After launch, onboarding our first batch of users went smoothly with minimal bugs reported. The codebase Reckonsys left behind was clean and well-structured enough that our internal team could pick it up without the need to refactor the same, which honestly isn't always the case when you bring in outside developers.

Overall the engagement numbers post-launch were encouraging and gave us enough confidence to start planning the next phase of features.

Reckonsys was pretty easy to work with from a process standpoint. They showed up to standups consistently, gave honest updates rather than just telling us what we wanted to hear, and flagged blockers early instead of sitting on them until they became bigger problems.

Deadlines were taken seriously. There were a couple of instances where scope got a little fuzzy and timelines needed adjusting, but they communicated that upfront and we worked it out without any drama. Nothing was ever a surprise at the last minute.

Response time on Slack was good, usually same day and often within a few hours. When we had urgent requests or needed to pivot on something, they adapted without making it feel like a big production. That kind of flexibility matters a lot when you're building something new and requirements shift as you learn more.

Overall the project management side of things was one of the smoother vendor experiences we have had.

Honestly, the people. Both developers were genuinely easy to be around, which sounds like a small thing but it makes a real difference when you're working closely with someone over several months. No ego, no attitude, just good people who showed up wanting to do good work.

They were hungry in the right way. Not overconfident, but eager to figure things out and deliver. If something was outside their comfort zone, they didn't shy away; they leaned in. That kind of attitude is hard to find and you can't really train it into someone.

Cultural fit was a non-issue, which we were a little unsure about going in. It ended up being a complete non-factor. Communication was natural, the working style clicked, and it never felt like we were bridging a gap. It just felt like working with colleagues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Reckonsys could have done differently?

Nothing major comes to mind. If I had to pick something, early on they were a bit conservative about raising concerns and would sometimes wait to be asked rather than volunteering feedback. That got better as the engagement went on and they got more comfortable with us. Not a dealbreaker at all, just something they could work on from the start with new clients.

We needed support developing an on-premises application for an end client. The goal of the app was to support the client's manufacturing process.

Initially, we provided Reckonsys with the project's scope and requirements. Once we agreed on the scope, the team started with the requirements analysis and worked closely with our team. Reckonsys has designed the app's screens using Figma based on our requirements, and once we approved the design, the team started working on development. The team uses React, Python, and PostgreSQL in the app's development. 

The app is related to manufacturing and has the functionality to gather the requirements of products our end client needs to manufacture. The app produces a report to manufacture this product, and Reckonsys has helped us build this custom application according to our end client's requests. The project is close to concluding after the team conducts a user acceptance test.

We're satisfied with the app's design created by Reckonsys and all of our team has liked it. Reckonsys has a very strong and capable team to manage development projects. The team has suggested different paths and alternatives to accomplish our goals and different technologies to use. We're pleased with the services provided by Reckonsys. 

How did Reckonsys perform from a project management standpoint?

Reckonsys delivers work on time and on budget. We track tasks using Jira and communicate via email and virtual meetings.

I appreciate Sathish's (Founder & CEO) work because his thought process and ideas are amazing. His involvement in the project has been good through the project's different phases, providing valuable ideas that have helped us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I've worked with several service providers, and Reckonsys is the best. Their pricing is decent, and their work quality and abilities are outstanding. I strongly recommend working with Reckonsys.

Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't see any improvement areas for Reckonsys.

I suggest having an open discussion with Reckonsys about your requirements so they can evaluate your project and offer suggestions and ideas to help accomplish your goals.
