I needed a complex and very detailed functioning website, to conduct online raffles. users had to be able to sign up using social media, guest accounts, and via email. users had to receive their ticket numbers and we had to store lots of details in the backend of the website. once the competition has ended we are able to have a breakdown of all the sales, orders, who has what numbers etc so we can confirm the winner

each week we were able to test 1 of the 7 main key structures to make this website work and see the progress coming along

I worked with Mehul on a previous smaller project and I was confident that he could deliver what we needed.

This project was a custom WordPress plugin using PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS3, Google Maps API. This required extensive customization of WordPress and WooCommerce to deliver a searchable directory in a very specific niche.

I worked directly with Mehul and the lead developer for the project.

Project was delivered as specified. The website functioned perfectly.

Although there were some minor issues as the site was launched, Rainsteamweb stood behind their work as bugs were addressed promptly and professionally.

I am the director of this company. We are an online search directory for nurseries, schools, colleges, and universities.

We hired Rainstreamweb for our new project nurseriesandschools.org. The challenge was to build the existing WordPress website because WordPress was not scalable to add new features and the site was becoming slower and slower every time we add new features or data.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was googling for a local digital agency in the UK so that I can catch up with them from time to time but they were all very expensive. One of my friends suggested Rainstreamweb and I talked to Mehul and feel very confident working with him and his young and talented team.

The solution Rainstreamweb provided was to rebuild the existing WordPress website from scratch using the latest technologies like Laravel which is more stable and scalable. The project was finished and live before the deadline and I am very happy with the new website, it's very stable and fast now. I am still working with Rainstreamweb to add more and more features to my website.

The project management was great, especially compared to other vendors we've worked with. They regularly met deadlines, and we never had unexpected turnovers. We communicated through Skype, Jira, and GitHub.

We had direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas. Things can be lost in translation if you're only talking to a project manager.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality of work was great, they could have been more diligent about documentation. I've told the project manager, and their team is working on this, now.
