Qubstudio provided us with a full-cycle web design service. The process started with thorough briefing sessions to align goals and ideas. From there, their team worked on concept design, ensuring each element matched our vision.

The final deliverables included a fully realized homepage, speakers page, agenda page, contact forms, pop-ups, and supporting sections. Additionally, the team helped adapt our updated visual style and reimagined the user experience, ticket purchasing process, and overall customer journey, making it more seamless and engaging.

Good recommendations and portfolio, the company has also been a part of the Lviv IT Cluster community for several years.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

In the first stage, the Qubstudio team analyzed competitors and built an Information Architecture. Based on the results of the design exercises, they generated design concepts, and after we chose the concept we liked the most, the team started working on the website design.

Though we had a brand book, Web Designers made a few changes in visual identity and refreshed the style. Delivery in the second stage included UI screens and mobile, tablet, and desktop versions of the website design. After everything was approved, the team prepared and transferred the files to the developers.

During the third project stage, they worked on landing pages. Since we plan to create landing pages ourselves in the future, Qubstudio's task was to provide a certain number of landing pages and generate universal variable blocks from which we can assemble full-fledged pages. In the 4th final stage, the team completed the website design of the remaining web pages, created variable blocks for the IT Cluster project pages, and provided the UI Kit.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The team deeply analyzed our website design and content, made a UX review, and build the Information Architecture. Our cooperation resulted in a complex website design including styles, animations, colors & gradients, and additional design elements.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The process of our cooperation was profound and efficient. Regularly, we communicated in strategic sessions and received all the tasks updates in Slack. Qubstudio team constantly collaborated with developers team to make the website as easy to administer as possible. While working on landing pages, Qubstudio Web Designers also communicated (on calls and via Slack) with other departments of the Lviv IT Cluster, for which the landing pages were made.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The project team was very productive and considerate. As to Project Management, everything was timely and effective. The design process was also smooth and efficient. With a highly proactive approach, the Product Designer took into account our requirements, suggested great concepts, and provided top-notch solutions. The website design was more than we expected, flawlessly done, modern and minimalist, and we hope to use it for a long time.

Our users did not have to go through training, the process was so seamless, most of the users understood how to navigate the new design without much training.  That speaks volumes. The pace was perfect and often even faster than expected.  Right on budget and on time.

Qubstudio provided our NGO with social media visuals designs on a regular basis : we ran monthly fundraising campaigns and each month their talented designers created a new concept for posts and stories. 
We also launched several landing pages for key campaigns, so Qubstudio created designs from scratch, which wasn't easy considering the always changing miltech environment in Ukraine.

The success of our fundraising campaigns relied on multiple factors, including design. In the indicated time period we raised about 150 000 EUR.

In the first stage, the Qubstudio team analyzed the market, developed detailed technical specifications for design, development, information architecture and wireframes. They generated design concepts and after we chose the concept we liked the most, the team started working on the design for local and global websites.  

After that, the team prepared the design system which includes typography, color palette, layouts & grids, interactive elements and their states, navigation, and identity elements like illustrations, photography, graphics, etc.  

The team provided design support for developers in creating a quality website and managed this process afterward. As a result, the website with Qubstudio design has been successfully launched. 

The Qubstudio team was highly involved in website development, handling technical issues, and launching the website. This is very convenient because we received all the development and design on a turnkey basis.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The figma designs, the prototypes and meetings to discuss the same. Also the handover to the tech team and the turn around time for any queries from the tech team

Yes, items were mostly delivered on time and if any delays happened, we were informed ahead of time. Our needs were always taken into consideration and they made sure to deliver them

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

the number of women in the team, our company is also mostly women so we bonded on that. Also, the efficiency and the attitude to help us with whatever is required. Lastly, their ideas to improve not only the deliverables, but also new features that would improve the product.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Qubstudio could have done differently?

We had an issue about the invoicing and them sending us the reports, but that was improved as we progressed. Hence, there's not much to be improved!
