Well, there’s very little I would suggest for improvement. Promodo was highly responsive and delivered good results. If anything, perhaps even more regular updates could have been helpful, but overall, they were always available when needed and very open to feedback throughout the project.

What challenge were you trying to address with Promodo?
We needed marketing services to drive traffic to our website and mobile application. I returned to my organization in 2022, after they had just reestablished many digital platforms. That project took around a year, and during that period, the organization hadn’t done much marketing activities in terms of driving traffic to these digital platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Promodo provided SEO and Google Ads services for us. We worked with Promodo on three different Google Ads campaigns across three years in 2017, 2022, and 2023. For our last campaign, Promodo conducted a Google Ads with the goal of driving traffic to our website and mobile app. Promodo managed our ad spending, and our campaigns targeted Europe and America.

Our first engagement took place from September–December 2022. Then, we worked on two other campaigns from 2022–December 2023. We're currently discussing the possibility of working together this year.

Our main objectives were to achieve visibility and interest in our destination. We had a set KPI of 7 million impressions, and Promodo's campaign exceeded that metric, reaching 11.4 million impressions.

Promodo was one of the top companies I had worked with regarding project management. We communicated via email, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

Yuliia was very responsive and changed our communication to WhatsApp for more urgent matters. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by Promodo's progress during the time I didn't work with them. When I first worked with Promodo, they were a small company, and when I reached out in 2022, I was surprised to see they had grown considerably. They were among the top 20 digital agencies in the world and maintained their pricing fees. So they offer great work quality at an accessible price.

Promodo's product offerings and services normally focus more on Europe and America, and our company's objective now is to focus outside these continents on Africa and Asia. I'd like if the team could expand their expertise.

If they can reach Miles as your first point of contact, I really recommend it.

Initially results were great, but later on results got much worse.

Better Google Ads management. Company should monitor their work performance on ongoing basis and quickly SELF identify problems and mistakes and fix problems without waiting for client to identify those problems at the end of the reporting cycle.

We expect company to self check and take responsibility for projections made and actually commit to deliver on projected results. Instead company failed to reach both targets, one of the targets was missed by 4X. The biggest problem was team in charge acted as there was no problem and we missed important season for us, as this was time sensitive project. Their team lacked necessary skills and mindset to do the job well.
