We needed ProCoders to develop a website in Wordpress from scratch with flawless UX/UI design that would translate our mission, attract visitors, and lead them to make contributions to our project.

I opened the position and received about 200 offers. What caught my attention about ProCoders was the fact that they showcased their portfolio in a very appealing way but mainly the communication was timely and clear. I felt that they really understood my need and decided to try them with a small project to make sure they would be a good match for me to work with. They managed to capture exactly what I needed and delivered the task in a very fast way and outstanding quality. Since then, we are collaborating on my website.

Scope of work included: wireframe with UX/UI design, web development for MVP, collection of feedback from key stakeholders, and final iteration. The features included: news page, product portfolio, company page with mission and vision, subscription and forms features. The whole work was done using Figma and Wordpress (PHP, CSS).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the MVP for the website to be functioning we managed to gather our first contributions, we were mentioned in youtube channels by industry experts and reached 90% SEO score. Our bounce rate is currently 24% which is expected.

We had daily interactions for alignment and also they provided me with a weekly report for tracked hours. Our communication was mainly in Slack and for the times that I needed a deeper explanation regarding the tasks and the job done they provided me in the same day.

They clearly understood the project's scope and managed to translate my vision into an awesome website. It turned out exactly as I expected.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, at this moment I cannot think of areas of improvement.

I am the director of operations for a service-based, home energy firm based in Ottawa, On. I have worked in the home services industry for over 12 years and have experience in both residential and commercial settings.

When our original website was released, it wasn't up to par with what we wanted. We launched the site anyways and were disappointed and reluctant to drive traffic to it, knowing that the user experience would drive clients away. In 2019 we decided to scrap the website and start fresh, and once again picked the wrong firm, who strung us along through Covid with excuses and poor deliverables. After two years wasted and the same site still live, we once again cut our losses and started fresh. After extensive research and multiple quotes, we decided that the team at Procoders was the right fit and hired them for full web design and development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Procoders because of their obvious high-performance work ethic, extensive portfolio, and general 'can-do' attitude. They listened to our story and reassured us that our experience would be far different from the past. They set up as many calls as we needed, and they were never late or rescheduled. After a few calls with the designer, developer, and project manager, we were confident we had found the right team.

After the discovery calls, Ann wasted no time and sent the first concept of the homepage. We made suggestions through Figma, and revisions were made within 24hrs. Once the homepage was approved, we worked on the additional pages for a few weeks, and at no point did Ann slow the pace or communication. Ann is very talented. It was truly amazing to have found a designer who can effortlessly bring our vision to life. 10/10 with communication, lightning-fast turnarounds, and very friendly and positive. There is nothing she couldn't do for us. Everything was created custom and pixel perfect from Lotti animations, illustrations, and photoshop edits. After all the pages were approved, Eugene took over for the development, and he is a wizard. I'm sure our project was simple for him, but we are amazed at how well he built the front and back end for us. Again, there was nothing he couldn't do, and at no point did he discourage us from our requests. Going live was seamless, corrections were fast, and the final product was better than we envisioned.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our new website has been live for seven days, and we have received tremendous feedback from our suppliers. They are thrilled about how we display their products, which will undoubtedly strengthen our relationships and open doors for more opportunities. We have also seen multiple online bookings and requests through the contact form, chatbot engagement, and subscription sign-ups. More importantly, we have our confidence back knowing we have the best website for our category in our city. We are now beginning phase two, focusing on SEO, and we have no doubt we will dominate our category in the next two years.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I can't stress enough how good their communication is. This quality is lacking in all industries, and over 120 days, no emails went unresponded, and no tasks went uncompleted. Our project manager Andrii kept us on track and was there every step of the way for support. Like Ann and Eugene, he was always available when we needed him and never discouraged us or tried to take shortcuts. Based on my experience, I'm willing to say it is unlikely we could have found a hardworking team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The "can-do" attitude! I'll be the first to say it. I ask for a lot. The last time we built a website with the local firm, I asked for revisions, and these are actual responses to my questions, just as you see them. "Out scope" "Massively out of scope." "Unnecessary" "Can be done at additional cost." "I'll see if it's possible" (no response) This team was more like, "Yes, no problem." "Will do!" "Already done :)" "No issues" The work is world-class, the price is fair, and everything is unique and custom.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, not for us. We would never consider another firm, and if a friend were building a website, I would forbid them from using anyone else. This has been our dream of ours, and we lost hope a few times. I visit our new website multiple times a day to look at it. I picture how visitors would feel on our site after leaving our competitors, and I'm proud. It sounds dramatic, but we have wanted this for five years, and we are truly grateful that we found Ann, Andrii, and Eugene from Procoders. One thing I learned is that you need to know what you want and be prepared to be hands-on. This team is 100% capable and can build anything you can dream up, but without direction, they won't be able to read your mind. Visit dozens of websites, take screenshots that inspire you, and be clear with your vision. Then, plan ahead and understand your navigation, integrations, and brand message. If you help them understand your concept, they will build it. Guaranteed.

We shared a Slack channel but once they had the wireframe and assets, Procoders worked quickly and efficiently without much interaction. Completed stages were shared fire review but they basically for everything right the first time.

The thing that won them the business was not just the proposal but how quickly they grasped what we wanted and how they played it back to us--it really made is confident that they could deliver.

Nope. Like I said, they pretty much got everything right the first time.

We had some kind of layouts made on figma, along with user stories, reference websites, work flows etc. We defines the scope of the project, the desired objectives, style/theme of the platform etc. Once that was done, Ann proposed 2 designs/themes. Once we reviewed and finalised that, she initiated to work on it. We had regular reviews and iterations, untill the end of project.

We are still in development stage, but we are extremely satisfied with the design outcome, in the given timeline. Ann is our goto designer now.

Ann and Andrii were quite responsive to any issues raised. Ann would was always enthusiastic to hear any kind of feedbacks. If something needed to be changed, they would quickly grasp that and execute it, rather than resist changes. I appreciate her attitude towards work. Andrii was always there if any coordination was needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are quite professional, time-bound, responsive and good at client servicing.

For my first experience, I do not have much to add.

We were in need of software developers with good expertise as we are a company putting large emphasis on the technical aspect of our product. Our goal was to develop a MVP in the first phase, and for this we decided to get in touch with ProCoders.

We were on the look for a technical partner for a long time, with me having 10+ meetings vetting different potential tech partners. At the end we decided to go with ProCoders because of the simple fact that everything felt right from the first moment. We also got in touch with other companies here in Sweden that work together with ProCoders and they warmly recommended them for us.

We started off with kick-off meetings where we were able to get a feeling for one another. ProCoders, unlike many others, even in the initial phases where we still did not have a contract, participated in these meetings with technically inclined persons who discussed our project, visions and came with great and important advice & feedbacks for our ideas.

Thanks to this we even changed some parts of the technology that we were determined to use, which now after I thank them for pointing this out and us making these important changes. Continuing, ProCoders found suitable developers for our projects. Though the developers were managed from our side they showed great individual responsibility which was highly regarded from our side. We had daily stand-ups, weekly sprints, and a constant communication with the point of contact of ProCoders that was helpful & available for us whenever we needed.

ProCoders, in the end delivered the project within a timely manner and a quality product which both me, as a developer that participated in the project, and our investors was more than satisfied with. The technology used for this project was centered around Nodejs, React & Typescript.

We started off with 1 Senior Fullstack Developer but found ourselves a few months later with 6 Developers + 1 QA-engineer + 1 Solution Architect. This was possible only thanks to the flexibility showed by ProCoders to quickly scale according to our needs.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After presenting our application in an exhibition in Sweden we received only positive feedback on the smoothness & quality of the application and landed multiple clients that day. One of the key factors behind this is also the close cultural style that ProCoders mentality offers as their developers interprets the meaning of good quality as we do here in Sweden.

ProCoders was, and still is, a pleasure to work with especially in regards to communication & transparency and how they handle their developers. They are truly dedicated to their clients being satisfied, not only as a catchy slogan, but by actual concrete actions that truly shows it. We use Jira and Google meet mostly for our communciations.

ProCoders has a great culture within its company. It is easily noticeable that ProCoders puts a great value on their staffs wellbeing and encourage their staffs hobbies outside of coding. We have people in ProCoders i personally have gotten to know which i have learned they enjoy creating music. To then see ProCoders put this person playing music on their official channels to encourage this persons hobbies is essentially what this company is about.

This genuine approach is of great value because it also reflects how they deal with their partners. Not once have we gotten the feeling that we are in a pure business-oriented relationship but instead we feel and witness having a partner that genuinely cares for our projects' quality, and goes the extra mile for it.

Our point of contact in ProCoders has been amazing, helpful and i can without a single doubt name it as a fact that she is more worried & committed to our project than we sometimes ourselves are which makes us feel safe and in good hands. At the same time they have a great expertise within the technical field which truly gives them that unique edge you are looking for.

It is difficult to point something out that they can do better. They showed, and are showing, great quality in all regards. Keeping in mind that they do all this whilst everything that sadly goes on in their home city of Kharkiv, Ukraine i can only speculate they will be even more productive in a, hopefully not too long from now, calm environment.

The designer was clear in his feedback and input, making sure I understood the reasoning behind a design or process flow. Additionally, the web calls were helpful in discussing milestones in the design.

We asked ProCoders to address security issues on the site, including moving away from an old template system, removing redundant plugins, and fixing any breaking issues. In addition, we tasked them with improving their mobile score on Google PageSpeed Insights to over 80, which was challenging because our pages are very image-rich.

All issues were addressed within 2 weeks - security and performance concerns were addressed without any negative impact to design or user experience.

ProCoders worked with us using the tools that were convenient for us - email, Asana, and WhatsApp. They are very responsive and independent, and do not require close management.

Had to do 2-3 rounds of fixes on UX regressions, but they were fixed quickly.

When I asked to have the first video chat, it happen so soon. Anna communicated to me so well. She told me that she is busy for two weeks with some other projects, but she has another girl called Hanna who is also a designer who can work on projects. Anna was overseeing the whole project which was very professional. After assigning the job to Hanna, everything becomes even smoother.\

Hanna understood what she needs to do and delivered everything on time and with quality. We worked on the new look and feel of my Shopify store, building banners, choosing new colours, remodelling my logo, which looks way better now.

Most important thing is that they haven't charged me much because they considered Hanna as a new team member and they didn't know how everything will end up. This shows me that they care for me and my business, rather than making money straight away. I will definitely work with this company when it comes to all my projects.

I am the Head of Digital at a global pet wellness brand. We sell pet wellness products in Asia, the Americas, Europe and more.

Our business strategy and brand had changed over the last 6 months and we need a complete refresh of the website to relaunch to the Direct to the consumer in 2022. We don't have internal designers so we reached out to Pro Coders initially looking for concept designs.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We reached out to 5 designers across, Fiverr and Upwork. We chose them because they came back with the best design at a good offer for the project.

We had an initial meeting with the Account manager and the design to discuss the project in which we then received some concepts in a pretty quick turnaround.

After our team went through other designers concepts we chose their design and had another meeting to discuss the next steps and the rest of the project. They were very fast in turning around the designs without sacrificing the design quality.

During the project, we hire 2 developers and we all jumped on a call to meet and also to help communicate between the developers and the designers which was a great help! Ad the development side of things was progressing we needed some additional screens design and they promptly assigned an additional designer to help speed up the process which was amazing of them!

We worked with 3 people from their team. A manager, and two designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Their designs were absolutely loved by our team and easy to implement with the developers. Though our site has not launched yet, our initial feedback from some research was that our customers also loved the design and ease of navigation.

It was very easy to communicate with their team through Upwork, email, slack and online meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had lots of changes and testing new concepts of design so they were very patient with feedback from our team and coming up with great ideas for improving the design and not sacrificing user experience! The design style was amazing and they really nailed our brief!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We would have liked to see a little bit more knowledge of Shopify site design but overall we don't think that really affected the design at all, to be honest!

We had a complex website project with a fixed deadline, and needed to add to our existing development team in order to finish the project on time.

SOLUTION

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

We did a Google search for experienced React development agencies. We had meetings with a few of them, and decided to go with ProCoders based on their obvious experience. We were quickly confident they would be able to handle the project without us needing to worry.

They provided a mid-level React developer to supplement our in-house team. We worked with our senior-dev, and when she had to leave the project unexpectedly he stepped up and lead the development of the project. We were very pleased to have him on board and the project wouldn't have been able to launch successfully without him. Our primary contact aside from the developer was George, the head of partnerships at ProCoders, and he checked-in frequently through the project.

We first discussed the project with the head of partnerships at ProCoders, George, then later had a meeting between their developer Anton and our lead developer. We quickly felt sure they'd be a good fit and would contribute to the project as needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Even though our lead developer left the team, we still launched the project on time - it wouldn't have been possible without them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had daily stand-ups, as well as ad-hoc checkins with the developer throughout the day to discuss bugs, issues or ask advice. Anton is just like any other member of the team now.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their service was excellent, and the price was better than the competitors we looked at.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really, the service was fantastic.
