Our website was originally created as a brochure website and was very outdated! We do not have in house developers so we hired PQube Business Solutions to help us out. They did a great job from start to finish! The technology is wonderful and easy to use for both the administrative side of things as well as the customer side of things. I can manage and make changes on my own and see them live immediately.

In addition if I have any questions they are extremely responsive. An extra bonus I'm not expecting is that they even help with our UI/UX and make sure things are user-friendly!

We reached out for referrals and searched the web for solutions. We narrowed it down and after reading reviews and asking for references we were confident in selecting PQube.

The scope included helping us assess ecommerce solutions, reviewing our unique business needs, hosting solutions, mail solutions - the full scope to keep everything running together and smoothly. They helped us combine solutions and eliminate old and expensive solutions into one streamlined system. NOP Commerce is used for our e-commerce now.

We had four team members from PQube with us, including a consultant, lead developer and two software developers.

After launching the website we immediately had sales start showing up, better SEO results (when people search the web for any of our products we show up top now), we really could not have asked for a better partner.

They were very open to using whatever tools and resources we wanted for meetings and tracking progress. We wanted to keep it simple so we had a minimum of weekly calls (I know the team had daily stand ups though) and communication was a breeze. Whenever they had a question or we did- we would just jump on a call or screen share meeting and things got done!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with the communication with them and the responsiveness. I was also extremely impressed with the advice and discussions we had surrounding user interface and experience. They really brought a lot to the table with their experiences.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon at this time.

We were looking to improve our customers' experience through technology solutions in the pharmaceutical sector by building an application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Android and iOS app allows us to track our products through a dashboard, and we also have access to content. PQube helped us with everything from documentation and digital catalog creation to mobile and web apps. The app was developed using PHP and Java. PQube also helped us with everything related to security and deployment to app stores.

What was the team composition?

I communicated directly with a commercial resource and a project manager, but there was also a bigger team involved.

How did you come to work with PQube Business Solutions?

They participated in a tender process. We really liked their proposal because, other than their technical skills, they had a strong understanding of the customer service process. They also showed a strong willingness to work side by side with us as a partner, rather than a service provider. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2019 and finished in December 2021.

What I really liked about them was their flexibility, agility, vision, and ability to work as partners. Additionally, the quality of their work, transparency, and ability to solve any issues that came up were outstanding. 

How did PQube Business Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great. We didn’t have any issues in this regard. We used Jira as a project management tool, as well as project roadmaps. We communicated via email, WhatsApp, phone calls, etc.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to work as partners stood out the most to me. 

Are there any areas they could improve?                                                                                                                          

I mentioned this to them in the past, but they were growing as a company when we had this partnership, so I suggested they create new roles to cover all of our needs.

Be very transparent with them, and think of them as long-term partners. Also, be open to listen to their ideas.

We provide a SaaS solution to small to medium businesses to provide different digital services across eCommerce, payments, promotions and scheduling to name a few. Our challenge is to deliver these services in a simple way to novice IT users but deliver strong multi-tenanted functionality.

We found PQube through a referral from our shortlisted eCommerce solutions we were considering, NopCommerce. We initially were looking for an eCommerce developer only however on speaking with the team at PQube we discovered there was far more they could deliver and they took over a much larger scope of the project.

PQube are responsible for the delivery of our multi-tenant eCommerce solution, user portal and dashboards, sign up processes, billing, payments and our website management. Initial deliverables were the core MVP for these functions above with the project now expanding into scheduling and promotions and ongoing enhancements of initial functionality.

We started with 4 people, 3 developers (2 senior, 1 junior) and a tester but have since expanded to 2 additional junior developers.

The project was delivered on time and on budget even with our constant changes! PQube were very flexible and importantly very consultative in their approach of helping us define our requirements. They are required to work closely with our product head and CTO as well as an additional external development team working on the messaging aspects of our solution. 

PQube has met our expectations and the cross section of skills beyond their initial remit of just eCommerce has meant a more cohesive and cost effective solution than we initially thought.

The PQube team has daily standups with our product managers and a weekly review with the CTO and COO. They regularly demonstrate functionality both to the product team and management to ensure consistency with requirements and update on progress. Tools such as Teams and Azure DevOps are used to communicate user stories and ongoing communications between the different parties with the daily and weekly reviews ensuring things are kept on track. They are open and honest.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our team at PQube are firstly both friendly and intelligent making it easy and a pleasure to work with them. Their honesty was one of the first things that made us shortlist them as they were quite willing to say when something was not likely to work well or was beyond their skillset. Ultimately the lines of communication are clear and their CEO, Supreeth, takes responsibility for the team and their performance and is very responsive to our need.

The team, although very consultative, could push us even more in terms of their experience and guiding us on different ways things could be done. We may be the client but we definitely do not always know best!

Scope of the project involved designing and development of our Customer Facing Portal, Deployment and Configuration of the multitenant eCommerce Instance, and API integrations with third-party Payment and Charging and Billing engines. The project started with a dicsussion on the requirements.

The PQube team then designed overall architecture for the solution and the wireframes for the Customer Facing Portal before proceeding with the development.

This is an ongoing effort. We began with a 4 member team comprising of an Architect, Tester, and 2 developers. However, 4 months into the contract, we have increased the scope to include 2 more developers.

While this is an ongoing project, we have launched the portal landing page, implemented the customer onboarding workflow, multi-tenant eCommerce instance, third-party payment gateway integration, third-party Billing and Charging Engine, and even deployed some demo eCommerce stores. Currently, we are in the process of redesigning our portal and updating customer onboarding workflows.

Initially we were looking for nopCommerce developers and shortlisted many technology partners from nopcommerce marketplace. We wanted to hire one or two developers to help with new B2B2C Marketplace built using nopCommerce technology. The key factors were the communication, transparency, vast experience in both USA and India and ability to work directly with project teams in United States without need for any middle men.

PQube were responsible to complete the new B2B2C Marketplace with tight integrations and Custom integrations to SAP, Delivery/Logistics and other Custom business logic. Later we expanded to have PQube developers to work on older versions of B2C shop, Legacy migrations of API services in dotNet Core and Modelling projects.

We started with 1 experienced Lead developer, later added many developers, QA Testers in multiple projects. As of now we have over 10+ PQube team members working in multiple technologies, teams and project combinations. We also have a Key Delivery Manager at PQube who helps us with project management, stand-up reviews, and onboarding new resources as needed.

Almost all our projects have continuous ongoing enhancements, new features and the team continues to deliver on time. PQube also provides expertise and consultation on choice of new technologies, suggest different architecture/design patterns based on specific business requirements.

Each team in our organization has daily stand-up calls with the PQube team members and work closely with either the Product manager or Technical Architect at Greenheck. The CEO of PQube also has regularly meetings with Directors & Stakeholders on demand. Tools used include Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Confluence, MS Teams, Skype for Business, Emails. Sprints and Tickets are used regularly to define requirements, expected timelines and risk management scenarios in addition to retrospective sessions at the end of project deliverables.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The PQube team is friendly, smart, honest, and very transparent. They don't shy away from constructive debates and are very keen to provide views and alternative solutions when required, examples of new projects or migrations. Their Project Managers and Directors at PQube take responsibility for all the team members performance, proactive communication, and is very systematic in their approach which is very commendable.
