We needed to develop a web and mobile app that connects students, parents, and teachers. The apps' main features are online lessons prerecorded by teachers, interactive practice tests, surveys to analyze students’ abilities, and weekly reports of students’ learning progress. Our team consists solely of businessmen and education experts, so all of the technical work was carried out by the PowerGate team. 

We were able to fully explain our needs and requirements to their team. Regular catchups were organized during the building of the product, and we were always kept updated on the progress. Close and detailed communication worked out, so when the first version was delivered, we were very satisfied. After the web app was completed, we went on with the mobile app based on that.

We started with the web app. Several meetings were held during the design phase. They only did the design phase in 2 - 3 weeks, and we continued with the build phase. After working together, PowerGate Australia helped us to lauch the MVP in only 3 - 3.5 months. After the web app was completed, we went on with the mobile app based on that. Since the release of the website in 2014, we have been gaining stable monthly growth and have gained a total of ~ 400,000 users.

We picked PowerGate because it is one of the largest software development companies in Vietnam. They have a lot of experiences on software development and they have an English speaking team that can communicate with us. These are what we think important when we decided which vendor to work with.

The website is delivered to us on time. In the UAT stage, there were some bugs. After communicating with the dev team, they helped us resolve the problem. Then they guide us to deploy the system to the production environment and it works smoothly.
