What was your goal for working with Worry Free Labs?

Worry Free Labs developed an app for me based on an idea that I had. They took it from an idea to an actual product. They stayed with me the whole way, from the design through the technicalities of the app itself. They have been extremely professional throughout the entire process. I have recommended them to other people, and they are producing very large and important apps.

Worry Free Labs did the design and development of the app, but did not do any training or support of the app.

What was your process for selecting Worry Free Labs to work with?

I found Worry Free Labs online. They were rated by their minimum to maximum prices, and I interviewed them and several other firms. They seemed the most professional and serious. I saw their past work, and their pricing was reasonable, so I went with them.

Can you provide a ballpark figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

It was between 70 to 100 hours of work in all, including project management, testing, the development, user interface, and everything.

When was the project completed?

The project was completed in November of 2013.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project?

It's too soon for statistics. The people who have seen the app, developers in the business and my customers, are all extremely impressed with the app. It is important for me that the app doesn't freeze. There are no errors at all, and everything was smoothed out before we released it. It's virtually flawless. The quality of the work and development is nine or 10 out of 10. It took me two years to choose Worry Free Labs, and I couldn’t be happier. The team is fantastic, and they work through a project management app called Basecamp. They communicate and solve issues together. They did exactly what I envisioned, which is not easy. The app is superb. It's perfect. I think it will help my business significantly. It's one key that my competitors don’t have, which gives us a huge advantage.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

They do not take advantage of us on the price as many companies may do. I received some quotes for $100,000. Some companies throw a big number out there, just to catch fish. They’re in business for the long term, and you need them to be there for the long run. Other companies wanted monthly or yearly maintenance fees, and they can charge for every update. Worry Free Labs said that if we don’t want to work with them further, they would give us the source code. They were so confident in their pricing and the quality of their work that they knew we would not want to leave them and that we would be so happy with them.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?

No. They’re very straightforward with you from the beginning. My Web developer has been looking to make an app for one of his clients and for himself for a long time. The issue has always been price. Sometimes, the developers with a low price do not offer the quality you need. Sometimes, it's sent to third parties overseas. Worry Free Labs is New York-based, and they have a fantastic team. They communicate very well with you, and the prices are very good. I couldn’t ask for more.

We engaged with them on a mobile consulting project.

Can you please describe the scope of their work in a bit more detail? Was it just the consulting or was there any development or training work involved?

The specific project encompassed the UI/UX work as well as some coding on their part.

What was your process for selecting them?

We looked at a whole bunch of firms and we were impressed with those guys and ended up going with Worry Free.

Can you provide a sense of the size of the initiative with a general cost range?

I’m not comfortable giving that information.

When was the project completed?

It was completed mid-last year [2013].

We’re very pleased with their work. I’m happy with the result of deliverables.

I’m not comfortable giving any specific performance stats.

Is there anything else unique or special about Worry Free Labs that stands out as unique compared to other IT firms?

We really like their UI/UX capabilities, and they have a very solid team. We’re very happy with the caliber of work, communication, and ability to meet deadlines. It was definitely a good experience. 

Is there anything that you think they could improve upon or something you might do differently looking back?

No. I do not have a comment on that.
