I started the project with the forecasting methodology from my academic work in time-series analysis and complex systems. Pieoneers translated that methodology into a working system, focusing their own research on the engineering unknowns: model training, validation, and production delivery.

Research and model development:

• Designed and trained LSTM neural networks on five years of OHLCV market data from Binance Futures
• Applied multifractal analysis from my methodology to capture price patterns that repeat across timeframes
• Validated the engine for Forex instruments beyond the initial crypto scope

Forecasting engine:

• Covers six cryptocurrency pairs (BTC, ETH, ADA, BCH, BNB, XRP against USDT)
• Six timeframes, from 30 minutes to one week
•  Predicts specific high, low, and close price levels with estimated volatility

Product delivery:

• Free Telegram bot: users request forecasts with no registration or wallet connection

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The system has processed more than 50,000 forecasts on the production server this year alone.

The research became a live public product: forecasts for six cryptocurrency pairs across six timeframes, available at teresius-ai.com and through a free Telegram bot with no registration barrier. 

Accuracy is measurable and published. Every chart displays the model's error (SIGMA Forecast, based on RMSE) next to actual market volatility, with forecast history shown against real price movement, so users verify performance themselves.

 Cross-timeframe validation confirmed the models capture real market structure: forecast channels generated independently on 30-minute and 1-hour timeframes show clear structural correlation.

The engine was validated for Forex instruments, and a continuous retraining pipeline keeps models aligned with live market conditions.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management has been one of Pieoneers' consistent strengths across our ten years of working together. On Teresius, Olena, their CEO, personally led the project and organized the work so well that I learned to simply trust the team with the flow: I describe where we need to go, and the process takes care of itself.

The work was neatly organized into iterations with a weekly cadence, which made progress easy to follow. A research-driven project like this can't follow a rigid fixed-scope plan, because nobody knows in advance which model approaches will work. Pieoneers managed that uncertainty well: each iteration was delivered on time, and they were transparent about what was proven versus still experimental. When results called for a change of direction, they responded quickly rather than pushing ahead on a failing path.

The team was proactive beyond their assigned scope as well. Gene Dolzhenko, for example, kept the website updated even when I forgot to ask.

That iteration structure also gave me real transparency as a client. All code lived in a shared GitHub repository, so I could follow the deep technical process directly, not just through status reports, and participate myself, to the point of contributing code alongside the team. My domain feedback was incorporated into the models and the product without friction, and questions were always answered promptly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to combine research with engineering is impressive. Many companies build software; few can take an open research question, financial forecasting with neural networks, and turn it into a working product that has processed over 50,000 forecasts in production.

What makes this more impressive is how they handle the unknown. When we started, nobody knew which approaches would work, and they didn't pretend otherwise. They researched, experimented, discarded what failed, and built on what succeeded, learning as a team. we were building practical AI systems together years before today's AI tools existed, when everything required original engineering. 

They build even highly complex applications fast, with modern technology, and they've done it for me for years.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Pieoneers could have done differently?

Honestly, it's hard to name anything. After this many years and projects together, they are simply quite good at what they do.

Pieoneers has been the development and consulting partner for VEX Holdings since the platform's concept phase. 
The engagement has spanned multiple business model iterations, two major architectural pivots, and a launch event (VEX Summit, April 2026). The relationship recently evolved from a traditional development team model to a senior product consultancy, with Pieoneers leading UX direction, code review, testing strategy, and architectural oversight alongside continued hands-on implementation. 
VEX operates as a private securities trading platform under FINRA and SEC oversight. The platform is structured as three federated entities: VEX Trade (transactions), VEX Capital (research and SPVs), and VEX Registry (regulated record keeping).

• Key Deliverables

Investor onboarding and identity End-to-end onboarding flow with KYC and AML compliance, OFAC screening, account approval workflows, passkey-based authentication, federated login across the three VEX entities, and qualified purchaser accreditation handling. 
Auction and trading platform Real-time auction and book-building mechanics, evolving across three models as the business strategy matured: Dutch auction, book building, and a catalog/deal-star system where investors express interest in companies and anchor investors can initiate book-building events. 
Live order book with bid placement, modification, and cancellation. Payment infrastructure Bank wire integration for fiat deposits and withdrawals, and multi-chain crypto deposit support for Solana and Ethereum, including direct wallet invocation and ownership verification. Real-time settlement confirmation. Cross-channel controls preventing VEX from being classified as a crypto exchange. 
Financial ledger and transfer agent Cryptographic ledger recording every movement of cash and shares. Git-based transfer agent system with auditable history of ownership records, compliant with SEC 17a-4 record-keeping requirements. We started working with Pieoneers as a tech partner to build the Revinew platform from the ground up. The scope covered both product strategy and technical implementation. They helped us refine the user flows, data flows, and overall product direction, making sure the platform aligned with our go-to-market methodology and brand. Pieoneers built the platform using modern frameworks and an intelligence layer that transforms business data into actionable insights. The goal was to assess businesses across three revenue levers: Market & Messaging Fit, Sales Motion & Pipeline, CRM & RevOps Health ultimately to provide a benchmarked score by area, their top friction points and an action plan - written for SMB execution and GTM alignment. In addition, Pieoneers delivered a clean, professional interface that makes insights easy to understand, while also guiding us in prioritizing features that balanced quick wins with longer-term strategic initiatives. They were proactive in anticipating both technical and product needs, ensuring the platform not only worked well but also supported our vision of making business consulting more scalable and impactful. The results have been very positive. Real customers have given us excellent feedback on how intuitive and easy to use the platform is. What used to be a manual process that could take up to 12 hours of effort is now streamlined and completed in about 24 minutes.

This extreme increase in efficiency allows us to serve more clients, deliver insights faster, and focus our consulting time on higher-value conversations. The platform has transformed the way we approach audits, and the feedback from customers confirms that it provides both a smooth user experience and immediate, tangible value.
