The project scope was to craft a new website design based on our brand and logo. We used WordPress to facilitate user-friendly content management and WooCommerce to facilitate the eCommerce functionality. We needed to maintain current systems used by our parent company to integrate payments, order fulfillment, tracking and shipping. We required custom API integration with our laboratory for kit registration and results lookup.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
There were three product stages that demonstrated progress/success. The first was the design stage where OSOM was able to translate and bring our vision requirements to life. The second was the development stage were OSOM was able to turn the agreed upon design into a functional website that met our business needs.
Last was the production stage where OSOM was able to move all development work to a live site and incorporate all of the business requirements we requested for an easy customer experience.

OSOM has an outstanding project management system. They delivered items on time, demonstrated strong communication skills, and adapted to all of our needs as a business. Additionally, OSOM provided feedback and expertise in areas where we needed a little extra guidance regarding website development and their industry knowledge was very helpful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was most impressed with their industry experience and ability to implement and execute our project ideas.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Osom Studio could have done differently?
We had zero knowledge or experience with the software platforms used, such as Figma, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc. It would have been nice to have had an in-depth walk through on how to use each platform before we started working/reviewing and providing project revisions and feedback. There was a slight learning curve that could have been easily fulfilled by a quick video tutorial or video conference with the OSOM team prior to starting work on each of the different platforms.

We tasked OSOM studio to design a new website for our organization. Our requirements were that the website use WordPress, allow for post-deployment customization, and support several different page types/templates, such as: case studies, features, video and image pages, and more.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The site was delivered on time and according to our specifications. We are able to customize the site as we requested and have the flexibility to expand. We were also satisfied with OSOM's recommendations on the branding and aesthetics of the site.

Everything was delivered on time. Using BaseCamp as the project management tool was a positive experience. There were only a few incidents of miscommunication which were resolved.

The entire process, from initial contact to project close, was marked by good communication on behalf of their sales, project management, and technical teams. All teammates were responsive, and a good communication flow made it easy to adjust our goals throughout the project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Osom Studio could have done differently?
As some other reviews have mentioned, their default project management approach seems quite rigid. This may also be because everything is tracked precisely in BaseCamp. We found the time consumption tracking throughout the project to be perhaps a bit overzealous, but in the end it did not affect the final budget or scope of work.

Our old website back end was in a poor shape, with layers of different codes sitting on top of each other. Website wasn't secure, it was slow and we were unable to make any changes on it or to track our conversions correctly. We had to get new website up and running, not only to refresh our brand feel and look but also to make sure we can edit our messaging and track conversions. Osom was responsible for both design & development of the website and setting default tracking.

we worked in sprints with each milestone being tracked and reported in basecamp

yes we had tight deadlines to meet and we managed to get each phase of the project delivered on agreed time. Whole experience was very smooth and was well managed by OSOM team. They were communicating with us on daily basis

Project management & communications were exceptional. They really cared about our feedback and opinions. Additionally, it was a first time where I experienced a website agency to conduct such in depth research including workshops and interviews with executive team to make sure they understand our product, industry and ICP.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Osom Studio could have done differently?
i personally prefer testing whole page as opposed to each element separately in sprints - but it is more of a personal preference. Overall I think OSOM were professional, super responsive.I can't really spot any major areas for improvemen.

With had to rebrand and redesign a significant volume of marketing collateral and create new ones as well. We needed to find a partner that understands rebranding, is creative, keeps brand consistency across all our assets. What we were also looking was proactiveness and good organization.

I had worked with Osomstudio in the past when they were a smaller team but were all good professionals and happy working with them. When this huge project came up, they were the first that came in mind. After our call, I was happy to see their new structure, their extended portfolio of customers, their awards on their website. What we also liked was that we would have a dedicated project manager.

After our introduction call we moved our project into Basecamp and we continued from there. Straight forward platform, connecting the main collaborators. going step by step on all projects and they were always checking for final approval before delivering. Osomstudio exceeded our expectations as their designers quickly picked up our brand style and came up with great design ideas and templates. The project manager was on top of everything, and all the team proactive and responsive.

We worked with 3 -4 people, 1 project manager and 2 designers and some more were added as we were adding more projects. All with senior expereince

Nice design, align with our brand style and easy to read. The fact that they facilitate print and direct distribution to the different locations helped us form time and cost perspective.

The project manager was always proactive, and the designers were delivering on time. The workflow withing Basecamp platform was smooth and effective

A part from their professionalism they have been also very patient with us as we had to change a few times the content or design.
