I am a director for a large-scale moving company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ongresso - Counsulting Business Services?

We hired Ongresso to set up a legal entity outside of the US.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ongresso has been helping us with legal steps in terms of setting up our entity. This includes registering the company and getting a tax ID number. They have been helping us with bylaws and administrating payroll on our behalf. 

Ongresso is helping us find and recruit staff, and they will be acting as our legal representatives in the future. They are also helping us with accounting services like paying and cutting invoices. They are currently finalizing bylaws and acting as an employment outsourcing agency for our company. 

What is the team composition?

We work primarily with Joe (Managing Director LATAM), and a team made up of a few other individuals. We’ve also spoken to Daniel (Co-Founder, CEO) and Lorenz (Head of Customer Excellence).  

How did you come to work with Ongresso - Counsulting Business Services?

We found them on YouTube. They were cheaper than everyone else we were looking to work with, and they provide personal and dynamic services because it’s a smaller business. 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we have invested over $20,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Ongresso in April 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Ongresso is helping us set up our entity outside of the US, which will financially impact our business, but it’s difficult to pinpoint anything specific at this point in the process. 

How did Ongresso - Counsulting Business Services perform from a project management standpoint?

They have stayed on time and within budget for everything, so we have no complaints regarding project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Every client matters to them. They are a small business, and they can put time and effort into everything they are doing. We also appreciate that we only have to speak to one person, and they take care of the rest. They are easy to work with and attentive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We are all learning together, but sometimes we think their knowledge could be better. All our questions are answered, but the answers aren’t always available immediately. We also wish there was a little more structure surrounding things like payroll deadlines.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ongresso - Consulting Business Services?

We had a fertilizer product that we wanted to introduce to the Colombian market through a distributor.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ongresso - Consulting Business Services has been doing HR services for us. Our latest project involved doing a distributor search in Colombia with the specific skills we required, like knowledge of international importing of our product line. After they found several qualified candidates, they took care of the whole hiring process, including the negotiation once we chose a candidate from their list and in-country support helping us fill in any documentation.

We’ve been only working with Joe (Managing Director).

How did you come to work with Ongresso - Consulting Business Services?

They were already working with us when I took my current position.

How much money have you invested in this partnership?

So far, we’ve spent $10,000–$20,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2019, and the engagement is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We went from having no customers in Colombia to shipping almost $100,000 worth of products to Colombia.

How did Ongresso - Consulting Business Services perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent; everybody knows their role and does a good job of keeping the project moving forward within deadlines despite any challenges. Regarding tools, we use Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their professionalism and competency are outstanding, so we wouldn’t even entertain working with somebody else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
