Initially, I provided a rough mockup and brief for them to do some research and show us some suggestions. We have tried to set the brand and flow of the design initially. The team was cooperative and provided various versions of the design according to our feedback. After finalizing the initial design for the homepage, they re-designed other landing pages for us.

The team provided an organized and well-structured Figma project for the design, which helped us to build the website easily.

We have shared most of the feedback through Figma. But they were also available for quick meetings and discussions.

The ability to design breathtaking interfaces but a good user experience is rare. They are very good at this.

The initial versions of the design could be a bit faster. But it was not a big deal.

More frequent updates so we have a better sightline on progress would have been great. But they were already very communicative so this is more of a nitpicking thing!

We hired Ofspace for a creation and design of corporate identity and UX/UI design of a mobile application and web application for users, which are our main products.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched online and compared different vendors and found Ofspace to be the most comprehensive out of all since they seem to have experience in designing a whole product and not just a couple of screens or snippets of products.

The team started off by having us complete a couple of questionnaires to kick-off their design journey. They have provided several options of corporate identities based on our response. After the corporate identities are finalized they immediately started working on design system and standard widgets to provide a groundwork the rest of the designs.

We then have regular back and forth sessions to communicate the user journey and start designing feature by feature until the overall package was completed. Figma was used as a collaboration tool so we could see the progress in real-time anytime we want. After the completion of the design, the team still provide constant support to make any necessary changes.

We have one dedicated person to work with them, but our developers can always drop into Figma and select any assets they need at any time.

We are pleased with both the quality of the outcome, the comprehensiveness of the outcomes, and the on-going support after the project. The team understood the common limitations of developing mobile and web application so they didn't make super flashy designs that makes it difficult to code in the front-end.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Not structured, but effective. Since we're a startup the workflow didn't need to be rigid. We work via Figma and communicated via Slack and it is just a constant back and forth iterations until the work is done.

The way they laid out their design system to ensure consistency throughout every element of the app was amazing.  Also, their great understanding of the product and user journey that shows in the outcome.

Not that I can think of for a startup.
