• Our primary goal was to prepare our family business for a generational leadership transition. We needed to translate decades of founder knowledge into documented processes and fix operational disconnects across our entire supply chain and multi-channel sales footprint (Wholesale, DSD, and DTC).

The Odd Agency embedded themselves in our business to build a structural foundation for the future of our brand. First, they looked across our entire operation to help us see the blind spots we were missing. They audited our physical workflows and legacy systems, from supplier procurement down to our Wholesale, Direct Store Delivery (DSD), and DTC channels.

Next, they extracted the institutional memory our founder had built up over the years and turned it into documented standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Finally, they overhauled our backend technology to eliminate friction between our departments. They built the operational foundation that allowed the next generation to confidently step in and run the daily business together, unifying our processes from production all the way to the store shelves and end consumers.

We successfully transitioned daily operations to the next generation without disrupting production or sales. The Odd Agency unified our disjointed systems, giving our family clear visibility from our supplier network and manufacturing floor all the way to our wholesale and DTC customers.

Laura and William understood the dynamics of working within a generational family business and never let us lose sight of the long term goals. Their combination of business acumen with an understanding of the ever changing technology landscape made them invaluable to our growth, stablity and overally success in transitioning the business to incorporate the next generation without changing what made it successful. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something The Odd Agency could have done differently?

They pushed us hard to confront our own operational bottlenecks. Extracting years of our founder's knowledge and changing legacy habits wasn't always comfortable, but looking back their directness and refusal to just "put a band-aid on it" was exactly what we needed to actually evolve.
