Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ninehertz produced fantastic deliverables. The design, look and user experience of the app and websites are excellent and professional. Ninehertz was able to convert my concept into high functioning software. This was especially impressive given my extremely limited knowledge of the tech stack.

Ninehertz did a terrific job of clear communicating and adhering to the stated timeline and deadlines.

I was very impressed with the quality of the design and UX of the deliverables. Ninehertz also did an excellent job of being able to adjust and add new features that I asked to be added after the start of the project.

No suggestions from me, this project went extremely smoothly.

I run a startup that is developing an app that acts as a collaborative photo-sharing journal.

What challenge were you trying to address with The NineHertz?

I created a few wireframes on my own and wanted to source development companies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they walked me through how they would take my wireframes and build out feasible designs for every screen. After that, they started on development. They built out the entire app with regular check-ins for me to go over the flow and deliverables. In the app, users can add friends, post stories, and then journal together. Most journaling apps are single user, and my app enables people to do it together and share collections.

There are intricately thought-out design elements that allow people to keep certain things private while making other things public. These join together to create a compiled profile that they can display. The app is only for iOS currently.

They’ve also helped with marketing strategy. I took 10 screenshots of the app, and The NineHertz created a website to use as a marketing tool, and they did it free of charge. They helped me with a lot of marketing designs and prints.

What is the team composition?

I worked with a business development advisor originally to help me set up the project and go over the deliverables. Later on, I worked with a project manager and then had calls with their team, including a lead developer.

I found them through a cold search on the internet. After interviewing them and a few others, It was clear that they had the best customer service. I also liked their process.

We’ve spent just a bit north of $50,000.

We’ve been working together since April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The first result is cost savings. Other companies I spoke with would have egregiously over-charged me. The NineHertz is very transparent in their process — about their deliverables and their pricing — so I know they’re not a bad deal.

The app has only been on the App Store for a few weeks, so I don’t have any metrics about downloads or anything, but it's functional and looks good.

The project manager provided a project management tool that allowed me to view deliverables in a timely manner, as well as organize and upload files. In meetings with the development team, they explain the features they were trying to build out, and we work through any points of misclassification or missing detail. It is very hands-on.

We communicate over Google Meet and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their pricing is neither unfair nor suspiciously cheap. Additionally, their business development process extends beyond the basics and desires to build a connection with me to understand my business. We developed a rapport together, so much so that they have become one of my most trusted business advisors.

The NineHertz has been very patient with my questions, as I don’t have a lot of technical experience. They’ve been very communicative.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only difficult part has been the time zone. This doesn’t have anything to do with The NineHertz themselves, it was just a tough situation. Both sides could have done a better job finding better meeting times, rather than very early in the morning or very late at night. I didn’t have that understanding in the beginning.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Manage when you’re meeting with them across time zone differences. Moreover, constantly refer back to the deliverables that they set out in the timeline. This will help keep track of the project flow in case you’re not talking to them every single day.

Before launching we were marketing our services already. After the product was launched a 60% increase in our traffic and around 35% in our revenue was observed. This has helped a lot for the rapid growth of our org.

The project management approach was a hybrid approach of Agile & waterfall, where we had a milestone plan created before starting but the feedbacks & amendments were followed throughout the cycle. They had a collaboration tool named active collab for updates & tracking of work that helped a lot in keeping everything in one place.

Our turnaround time to reach towards our clients was a crucial factor which was reduced drastically after Nine Hertz provided the website and our backend system.

A project manager took our account and we were happy with her, but they changed her and brought another project manager who had a poor English language communication and made the project worse. I asked for his replacement, and they did, but still I wasn't provided the same quality as when we kicked off.

Honestly, they did poor on delivering some tasks. Either by not providing consultation on very simple things, which they added costs on us then they added another cost for fixing the tasks.

Email and whatsapp, but they care about money more than the deliverables, which is something i'm not happy about.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The director is always in communications, and he does some work to fix the issues, but he has never communicated on some mistakes made by them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes definitely, they could have improved their communication and provide consultation before implementing any work as they did it wrong. They should provide a guarantee period for tasks developed and not try to sell a resource package for a task that was done by them. They should worry less about the money and more about providing quality work.

We have given The NineHertz two projects. We generally complete the requirements gathering on our end and share the requirements documents with their team. They have taken over the complete development of the blockchain and the implementation of the UI part.

The product is a web application, and in terms of technologies, they’re into blockchain development, and when it comes to the technologies, they use Unity3D and soft concepts, which they implemented from the backend. The quality of their work is good; they do thorough testing before they deliver it to us, which is why we haven’t found many bugs during the development or the unit testing, and there have only been minor things that we have come across.

How did The NineHertz perform from a project management standpoint?

They are pretty accurate when it comes to meeting deadlines. We use Slack and ActiveCollab for project management and communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their adherence to the timelines sets them apart from other companies; I couldn’t find another vendor that has provided such accurate and quality deliverables.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the moment, I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend working with them because of the accurate deliverables they provide and the quality of their work. They also offer suggestions, and if any changes are needed, they proactively come up with changes or solutions for us.

Also, if you have basic project management skills, you can contact them, and they will get the work done.

I’m the UAE managing director of Al Uwlaa Solutions LLC. We established the organization to develop a marketplace for the transport industry.

We went to them to develop our marketplace.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The NineHertz built our platform from A to Z. I don’t know all the technical details, but they used Laravel PHP — developing it for the web, as well as Android and iOS. We’ve covered all three environments.

The product is a digital marketplace and truck-hiring platform. I wanted to cover each and every problem in the transport industry in the Middle East, as per regional requirements.

There was no initial documentation from my side; only the idea in my mind. We created wireframes and everything else through daily discussions over the phone. This led to the identification of the design, and development from there.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a couple of their designers in the initial stages, and they assigned developers after that. There were 5–6 developers and designers working for us mid-project, and I’ve reduced the manpower to two dedicated resources now.

They assigned a project manager as well. I realized a few months in that this wouldn’t work for me, and I decided to just pay for the resources. The project manager’s involvement is minimal at this moment.

How did you come to work with The NineHertz?

I was initially looking for local people in Dubai and India, where I’m from. I contacted a few companies from India and got help in my decision making from a relative who was in IT.

I found The NineHertz through Clutch and sent them a request. We got into several discussions before starting the project.

The NineHertz was actively involved, and they came down to Dubai to meet with us and discuss the project. I saw their interest, and I checked their strength in India in terms of how they were working, what the strength of their team was, etc.

We started working with The NineHertz two and a half years ago, around October 2019. They’re continuing to provide maintenance, and we have a lot of change requirements coming. They delivered the first phase on time, and development is still going on.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve launched the product to the market and are getting quite a good response. The platform is helping us monitor our shipments, drivers, and all expenses, including fuel. We hire trucks from the market from time to time when ours are busy, and we can use the platform to make payments. It’s all under control now, and we’ve eliminated a lot of headaches. Before, there were people misusing their powers within our organization, and all of that is under control now. We’re very much happy with this platform.

Working with a team for two and a half years is no small matter, and The NineHertz is a very professional team, especially the developers. The management team is collaborative and very good. That’s why I wanted to give them a review: over these two and a half years, at no moment did we have a negative discussion.

We use Google Meet to coordinate with them daily — us giving them our requirements through it and them keeping us informed during development, as well as checking whether there are any modifications required.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s their communication, professionalism, and cost that stand out.

I’d seen other transport management systems, but they were made for specific areas of transportation. Our project is huge, covering each and every aspect of transport management. For example, there are systems for businesses operating only their own truck, and those same companies will lease a truck from the market from time to time. I hadn’t seen a transport management system that covered all of those use cases, until ours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing as such. I haven’t come across any problems with these people. There wasn’t even one instance when they were late on something.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

The NineHertz has all the solutions in the IT space, and I recommend them to anyone. They’re professional and cost-effective.

In order to have a successful engagement, clients have to be a bit patient and convey the project scope properly. In the IT industry, it’s more important that the development team should first understand the project. Once they understand, they’ll take it from there, and they’ll definitely give a good result.

I’ve worked with a couple of other IT companies in the past, and it was a nightmare. Working with The NineHertz is cool. They’re professional and collaborative. I recommend them for any type of project.

Properties can be listed by filling forms asking certain details and uploading pictures . Details like amenities , restrictions , vicinity , size and other necessary details are added and buyers can use filters to search the desired property and contact the customer who listed the same . We used PHP and MySQL for the website and it is working quite well.

Yes , Absolutely . We loved the way software is working . Earlier it was a struggle having all the paperwork done manually and printing loan cheques individually. With the use of the software we developed, our productivity has raised by more than 60%.
